This branch of coffee shop in Shoreditch is in a prime spot. Big space inside but I prefer to sit outside. Lovely staff there who are ever so friendly. And a good piccolo to match. Will be back!

On a visit to London I am terribly disappointed by this company and the way they advertise their products. When the menu states that there is freshly squized orange juice for which they charge 4.5 gbp then you certainly don’t expect juice from concentrate…

Had a positively frothy cuppa hot chocolate here, delicious indeed and relatively inexpensive.

They have an Andronica’s café in Harrod’s and it’s well-worth going there. The barista is second-to-none, and he will personally find the right coffee bean for your needs. I sampled the Bolivian Cup of Excellence and I can honestly say that this was THEFIRST true cup of coffee I’ve really tasted. The barista served it to me in a French press, and I knew I was in the midst of a tastebud experience. With lesser, more conventional blends, I’ve always added sugar and milk, but this one I had straight up unadulterated black. The Bolivian Cup of Excellence boasts, «a rich creamy body with milk chocolate and caramel tones… perfectly balanced by a refreshing twist of mandarin, a burst of intense dark chocolate and refreshing red apple finish.» The first drops on my tongue were pure coffee taste, no bitterness, no aftertaste. Completely smooth on the palate. This was something to be savored, not gulped down in a paper cup whilst racing down the street. The second thing I noticed was a sincere sense of speediness: I looked over at my friend and the painting behind her was starting to hyper-focus, becoming clearer, and sharper. I knew I was tripping just because this coffee was the bomb! Ask the barista anything and he’ll answer you in the most professional manner. They custom roast your choice of beans to your heart’s desire. I asked to see which were the world’s MOSTEXPENSIVE coffee beans, and he showed me: 1) Ethiopia Wild Forest Grown Bonga Forest(valued at £102.50 per ½ kg), and 2) St Helena Tipped Bourbon(valued at £103.50 per ½ kg). The Ethiopian one being wild, and not mass manufactured, is understandably difficult to get. And St Helena’s a remote island in the South Atlantic Ocean. These coffee beans are rarer than Kopi Luwak or Jamaican Blue Mountain by far. And certainly not what you’d find at Starbucks. For you coffee connoisseurs, there’s none other than Andronica’s. Now that I’ve come here, I can never turn back to anything less!
