The coffee was amazing. I walk right past this cart every morning to work. Kept meaning to stop there, and this morning I did finally. The goodness of the coffee is close to Espresso Room or Store Street Espresso, which is saying a lot. Only downside(maybe an upside for some folks) — it seems to be LOADED with caffeine. Not sure if it’s the choice of bean, or something about the technique, but subjectively I would say it has 2 – 3 times the caffeine of a Costa. Still buzzing.

Listen people. I’ve travelled the world and had many a cup of coffee. The coffee at Bean About Town in Kentish Town is my favourite in the whole world. Yes, the location is mildly lacking in ambience and you may find yourself standing next to a very drunk homeless person while waiting in the queue but just wait till you see the love that goes into every cup. Coffee perfection.

The idea of a coffee bar on wheels is genius, plus it’s in the middle of the hustle and bustle London has to offer. We stopped by Bean About Town coffee cart while roaming around the neighborhood. A solo guy working his butt off so make sure to leave a tip. Prices are decent & the coffee is outstanding. Creamy, silky and divine — no need to go to a fancy coffee shop when you have this guy hanging out on the corner, literally. Definitely check out this cart if you’re in the area!

I like these guys with their little three-wheeled coffee vespa/station wagon. In fact, I find this to be the only decent place to get a good cup of good-morning coffee in the Kentish Town area… The concept is easy: you want a coffee-to-go and they serve it to you out of this mobile-espresso cart. This is indeed perfect for those people heading down the Kentish Town tube station or Kentish Town railway station… and their foamy lattés can definitely make your wait worth-wile if either of the previously-mentioned modes of transportation is late again…
