I was informed by Lizzie G that this place was quite authentic for a divey English breakfast, so I’d suggest you take her word for it. From what I know, you can get a hell of a lot of food for under £5, so that made it pretty solid in my book. While I can’t say that I’m a fan of the traditional English breakfast(sorry, I just don’t get the beans), I did get a serious portion of eggs, bacon, tomatoes, and mushrooms that were just the ticket after a night of excess. Definitely a divey feel, with surroundings that reminded me of a typical fast food joint and a kitchen that I didn’t want to inspect for cleanliness.

When you invite guest around, you really must look after them. Or at least that’s what my mother told me. So when Atlanta’s finest came over to stay, with a groggy head we both headed to our closest greasy spoon for breakfast. Fried bread, bacon, sausage, eggs, mushrooms, beans and tea for 2… more than we could both eat and we had change from a tenner. We sat in plastic seats, screwed to the floor and molded to the shape of our bottoms. You could walk in this diner 10 years ago ad it would be exactly the same, serving solid food for bargain prices. Just wonderful.
