This restaurant is a little bit weird. All the tables seem to be made for groups of 9 or more, so if you come alone or with another person you will most likely be seated with strangers at the same large table. The service is not great. It takes a long time to get menus, to get drinks, or even to put in an order. The good news is, that once you do put in an order, the food shows up quickly. Since it’s been a while since I ate here, I don’t have many comments about the food. The fish cake was decent, and the King Prawns I had were cooked well. The sauce was tasty too but I remember my mouth being really unhappy with the level of spiciness in the dishes. Bottom line is, this is a decent place to eat, but don’t expect any service whatsoever.

It was a Friday night and the restaurants are full and I remember walking in the regent street with my wife and kid hungry and desperately calling every restaurant near of our hotel«Café Royal«without finding one single table and I was really desperate until I saw this restaurant and said to myself«this is the final attempt and I’ll eat in my room if I couldn’t find anything«. I called them and answered by a nice lady telling me that it’s ok to come and they will get us a table. The restaurant was amazing and the food is delicious. I ordered duck curry and coconut rice and absolutely love it. The taste really remind me of the good old days in my journey to phucket island, Thailand couple years ago. Same yummy thai food. Every things was great in this restaurant, the friendly staff, the food and the price. The ONLY thing bothered me is the noise. Really annoying and high

I really liked the food here, I was looking for a place not far from where our University Center was and this place seemed to fit the bill, but what I could not get over was how hot it was in this establishment. The tables are all family style and you wind up with sitting with strangers, which is sort of fun in itself, so as long as you don’t mind rubbing elbows, dive in here! The food; was delicious-as I said, the duck curry was amazing with coconut rice that was very fluffy. My friends got a starter of these shrimp chips, that were salty and definitely helped us as we waited for our food. The service was very good I thought, but this was a rainy day and I guess I just expected it to be a little better temperature inside than out. If you’re looking for a place to go for more… upscale thai? This might be your new go to.

flavour wise you can not and I repeat CANNOT go wrong with busaba. Their dishes are very tasty and the prices are pretty reasonable… I was here just yesterday refulling my body for the upcoming champagne indulgence I was about to revel in! They have great set menus which really hit the spots and not the pockets… For £12.90 I had a three set menu starting with prawn crackers accompanied with sweet chilli sauce. Those crackers were the business! It was like biting into fresh prawns! They packed mad flavour in there let me tell you … Next I had the sticky tamarind chicken wings which were packing flavour too! Hot damn it was revelation! Then I had a healthy plate of pad Thai noodles with smoked chicken and prawns… FLAVOURCITY right there! So much flavour in there I found myself humming throughout my meal. Let’s just say it was a great day thanks to this meal lol Only downside was that I was sitting next to a greedy woman who insisted on stripping her wings down to the marrow! Jeeeez

You generally come away from Busaba satisfied and happy, and this branch is no different. Standard layout of multiple square tables inside that encourage chatting and sharing among groups of people, good quality, tasty food and happy service. This branch is quite big but can get busy purely due to the location, but you can do a lot worse than to come here to satisfy your hunger. I prefer it to Thai Square.

Awesome food, great prices and great atmosphere! Came in hungry and left quite satisfied! Wait staff on the ball and quick to cleanup. Wish I could find this place in the U.S.

Recently visited Busaba for a pre movie dinner to discover they do an excellent pre theatre set menu. Two courses for £9.90 I’ve always loved the food here, and with the pre theatre set menu it has become a really great value for money, tasty option for a quick feed. We had the spring rolls and the Thai calamari. The calamari is an absolute favourite of mine, I always order it. For mains we had the ginger beef and the pad Thai. Both were delicious and filling portions. Good selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks to select from. Service was great and very efficient. Highly recommend for a quick pre theatre dinner, or a regular dinner night out.

This is one of my favorite go-to places in London. The food is very tasty and affordable. Their Pandan chicken and Calamari are my usual orders but I’ve tried almost all of the dishes on their menu and I was satisfied with every one of them. The ambiance is trendy and cool. You share a table with others so if you are looking for someplace quiet and intimate to take your special someone to… then you might want to look somewhere else but if they don’t mind sitting with a bunch of strangers then go ahead and enjoy their fabulous food.

I visited Busaba, Panton Street with two friends on a Thursday night and the service and food were so terrible that I decided to complain by email to the manager. I wrote that despite that the kitchen is supposed to close at 11 and we arrived at 10, the two waitresses were hurrying us up to order and they were extremely unhelpful and unwelcoming. Especially, from 10:30 onwards they were more interested in packing up and leaving that servicing us. When the food arrived it was equally bad; in particular, the two char-grilled duck breast we ordered were old, rancid and cold — they were definitely cooked hours ago — and the funny thing is that we have ordered the same dish before in other occasions at this and other Busaba restaurants and it was great. I had to send this complain twice, but finally I got a reply from the manager, Ahmed(cc to someone Francesca) apologising and offering me to book a table for a free meal for two people. However, when I replied back to him(cc to Francesca) accepting the offer and asking to make a booking, my email was again ignored. Even now, 10 days later, I haven’t received a reply. What an appalling way to treat your customers! The«moral of the story» seems to be, if you want to eat at Busaba, avoid the Panton Street one.

The first thing you notice about these restaurants is the amazing décor and the genuine atmosphere that comes along with it. The big tables are kind of strange but in a cool way, if your party is small you end up sitting sort of with other people which makes for a different experience. The food as well is absolutely lovely, though I do remember waiting a little while to get it and there being confusion about what was for starter and what was for main. I didn’t order much on the day because I was wearing a very tight dress and wanted to maintain my composure(how shallow I was two years ago!), but I tasted a little of everything my friends had and was dead jealous and impressed. Always a trusted option.

Busaba Eathai is a chain, so while their food is predictable and good value for money, it’s still not going to have that extra magic to merit 5 stars. This occasion that I went, the crab fried rice was a bit too salty unfortunately, but everything else that we ordered(particularly the fried chicken!) was enjoyable. What I did want to highlight was the very good customer service we received. In the middle of eating our chilli prawn fried rice, we discovered a hair. We alerted the waitress. She took it back, and the manager came over to us to profusely apologise. He then offered to take the dish off our bill, and to also let us have another one of the same dish or sub in something else for free. He also took 25% off the rest of our bill. I was very impressed by this gesture as it really demonstrated the manager’s desire to make things right, and we happily continued with the rest of our evening. How restaurants handle these situations speak a lot to their bearings. I will still come back!

My mother and I came here for lunch and absolutely loved it. We ordered a Phad Phak and Pandan Chicken for starters and we greatly enjoyed both. The Phad Phak had an amazing flavor to it, as well as the sauce for the Pandan Chicken. The best Thai starters I’ve ever had. I later ordered Mussaman duck curry with coconut rice and it was delicious. The coconut rice had the right amount of flavor and the duck had an excellent taste and texture. My mother ordered Char-grilled Salmon with coconut rice which was also really well made and with a lot of flavor. Service was also very good, the pleasant waiter was attentive and gave us good suggestions on what to order. I would happily come back and recommend the restaurant to anyone.

Barely edible food. The two stars are because the décor is very pleasant and I’d probably enjoy coming here for a drink and chilling. Husband and I came here for lunch on a Saturday. I knew it was bad news bears when he asked for jungle curry with beef — the menu has jungle curry with chicken and red curry with beef. The fact that they cannot substitute meats means that the dishes are probably frozen and pre-packaged, not freshly prepared. So he went for red curry beef and I went for«Chiang Mai noodle soup,» their interpretation of the Chiang Mai classic khao soi. Food arrived. Beef curry was tough and practically inedible. Noodles were OK but I could get better from an instant noodle pot. Also, it took over 20 minutes to flag down a server to get the check — and the place was NOT busy — there were only three or four other tables eating. I get that the bar for Thai food in London is very low, but Busaba still disappointed me.
