Came in and it was packed so they sat us as the first table of two upstairs. There had to be 6 additional tables of two also upstairs one no more then 8 inches next to us. The next table of two came up and was sat right next to us? Now upstairs was totally empty(no reservation signs) and they sat them there why? With the downstairs being so busy sound carries and was impossible to have a personal conversation with people practically sitting with us. Even when the waiter came to serve them his bottom was on our table… seriously! Once the other couple left we asked to speak with the manager and asked why it was done this way(later other couples came and where settled in the father spots) she had no answer except she would speak with the staff. In the end they did nothing to make the situation better and I would never recommend anyone to go there. Food was just o.k. Sticky rice was hard and difficult to get out of the bamboo container.

A nice location, beautiful interior and attentive staff. However for the reason that I went there, food seemed just a bit above average. I had the pad si-ew which was flavourful but really oily towards the end. Also ordered a tom yum goong which had a kick to it but didn’t amaze me too much. They also had live music with a traditional Thai instrument I’m presuming, which was nice though from where I was sitting it was overpowered by the general chatter.

I got the chicken satay and the weeping tiger beef. Both were good, but I really love Thai food and wasn’t very impressed. The service and atmosphere were both nice. A bit on the expensive side though — 28£ pre-tip.

Um they came out running as we were about to leave to with the credit card machine asking for our card again because they forgot to charge for an iced tea beverage. Tack-y. Food was edible at most. Skip.

We started with the Thai appetizer sampler which gives you a sampling of everything and was very good. I had the green curry with was delicious and just enough heat to it. My wife did the Pad Thai which did not disappoint. Another member of our party had the whole sea bass dinner which was surprisingly good. I would highly recommend if your looking for Thai food.

Not bad, but not memorable. There’s nothing I can point to as bad(there really wasn’t). I had a prawn curry, some mixed appetizers, and a coconut mango icecream. They were all good. But there was just something missing about the whole meal. The spices weren’t quite spicy enough, the flavors weren’t subtle enough, but nothing I can point to directly.

No Penang beef! Only lamb. We have been coming here for years and suddenly it’s no longer on the menu. Unfortunately the chef in residence was unwilling to create a beef version for us. Even though there were other beef dishes on the menu.

I to be really impressed with Thai Square, but not so much now. I would describe the food as average(the starters — less than average and a little bland). I must admit, the décor at this particular branch is beautiful — ornate decoration, attention to detail and traditional costume for the girl providing the music. Maybe it was because it was a Friday night, but the service wasn’t the greatest. They took forever to take our order and when they eventually took the order, the starter came out first — before even getting the drinks. To add to the evening, we had a rocky table, so we had to get that fixed(i.e the waiter crawled under our table and shoved folded bits of their menu under the table leg — all very awkward lol); a bee was circling my wine glass, so had to get that replaced. In addition, considering we booked a table, I think we were just given some random table that was free — disappointingly, the table by the door. All in all, a rather disappointing evening, with mediocre food and service.

Great location and Great vegaterian options for us veggies. The service was quick and actually really great. Located at trafalgar square, near Westminster, national museum, a short walk to any of the plays. The décor was nice. Even a thai girl playing music dressed traditionally We ate the vegaterian pad Thai which is the best we had I the city and the portion size was great. We also ordered the green Curry vegaterian dish also extremely Delish and a large portion Coconut rice which was good but a high price for size of serving at 3.50£ Bathrooms were awful, not clean, extra supplies laid out, I had to go open my own pack of tissue. Needs a serous deep cleaning. I am always disappointed when a restaurant does not keep their toilets clean it always makes me wonder what else is not important to them to clean.

Excepcional!

Favorite thai restaurant when we are in London. We enjoyed the starter which is called golden sacks(shrimp ball), thai papaya salad, massamum curry, fried flat rice noodle, pad Thai, and tamarind duck. The pre theatre menu is half price before 7.30pm, what a good deal for good food. Service is top and sometimes they offered prawn crackers(not sure why it is not consistent in my every visit). Recommended to colleagues and friends and they love it too.

A very nice, friendly atmosphere. The food was delicious, and the staff was courteous. Definitely the best Thai in the area.

It was Sunday evening and time for dinner just didn’t know what we were in the mood for, so I whipped out my handy Unilocal App to look at some choices and after looking over the menu we settled on Thai Square and was even able to make a reservation through my Unilocal App, pretty sweet I say. Made our way to Thai Square, I told the host we had reservations, she looked at her book and didn’t see any, but another lady went to the back and came out and addressed me by name, I thought that was a nice touch and we were shown to our seats. I have to say, Thai Square is very nice, felt swanky, hence the reason for no food pics, just felt like I shouldn’t haha. I started with Chicken Satay, it’s the peanut sauce that I really crave and well I wanted to see if it’s just as good in London as it is in Phoenix and yep it’s amazing! The chicken had great flavor, it is sort of sad to cover it with the peanut sauce for it could stand on its own, but omg I love the peanut sauce and since I can’t just eat with a spoon its best it goes on the chicken. For my drink I ordered the Thai Tea, it was perfectly blended and tasted great! For the main dish, I went with the Panang Beef Thai Hot(been told food in London is bland so I was thinking Thai Hot really wasn’t going to be hot on my heat scale). This was prime beef that had been slow cooked in coconut cream and Panang curry paste and it was garnished with lime leaves, I also ordered a side of coconut rice. When the meal came out it looked amazing, the server placed the food on the table then served me, that’s right, she placed curry on my plate followed by some rice, felt kind of spoiled. The Panang Beef was amazing, the flavors the texture, oh so good! And going Thai Hot was perfect for me. That was a great curry dish. Now I’ll have to find it here in Phoenix or cook it myself. Glad to have found Thai Square on my Unilocal App, look forward to coming back.

Used to be good. Now suffering from ‘The over expansion chain’ of cutting corners, costs and taking the eye of the customer experience ball. Not just this one, the Thai Square in South Ken and Richmond are also just shovelling it out as quick as they can in an effort to maximise money taken versus bums on seats. shame they used to be good.

Expensive for what it was. Small plates and really not inspired chefs. The service a little bit busy on other things rather than see our friend waiting for his main dish 30 minutes more than us. Better Thais in other districts

Extensive vegetarian menu. Flavorful food. Presentation lacks imagination, but you can’t eat presentation. Prices are competitive, which makes them attractive if you like quality food. By-the-glass wine selection could be improved. Décor was typical but slightly cramped and noisy. All in all, the food was the winner here. Convenient to Trafalgar and Piccadilly.

Fantastic location especially for pre theatre dinner, they also offer pre theatre menu. It is located right by Trafalgar Square and not many restaurant have a view across iconic landmarks but this one does. It is a typical overpriced central London restaurant where quantity and quality are compromised for high prices but that should be expected. Inside is chill, cozy and nicely decorated with soft lighting and food was good and lots of options for Vegans/Vegetarians as well as Meat eaters.

On the outside, this looks like a tourist trap right on the edge of Trafalgar Square, but although it is a bit overpriced for Thai, the food is pretty good. I had a chicken dish with cashews and vegetables and my friend had one of the curries. All pretty standard. A good place to go if you’re in the area and need a quick place to eat.

If you’re around Trafalgar Square for lunch, they have a limited but good lunch menu for £7.50. I’m a big green curry fan so definitely like going for the lunch box on that one. Food is definitely reliable but the service… can. be… so… slow… I find it a real treat if I don’t eat at my desk for lunch so when I do eat out — I’d like them to hurry up please! We had to wave at the wait staff almost 3 times for us to take our order and about twice to ask for the bill. Understand that it is crowded during lunch but makes me want to get take away and just eat at my desk!

We’re in London, so what the hell, go to a Thai restaurant! The inside is really beautiful and tastefully decorated. My wife kept mentioning the beautiful orchids that were arranged beautifully. Actually, this is probably the first time in my life that I actually cared how flowers looked. The appetizer, some kind of fried duck, was great! Both of our main entrees were also very good. Mine was duck with tamarind sauce and I won the contest of who gets the best dish. My wife had the lamb with coconut sauce and in my opinion was bland. This Thai restaurant was playing Brazilian music… I know that Brazilian music is awesome and great to set the mood, but come on, give me some saucy Thai music. I’m staring to figure out this whole eating in London thing. The waiter/waitress only comes over after you have already looked at your menu and closed it. Otherwise, they don’t seem to come over. This seems to be the case everywhere… If the wife allows, I’ll be back.

This place looks really nice and the prices are not at all that expensive if you are on the British Pound instead of the measly dollar. It is right by Trafalgar Square which is great because it is between my hotel and the theaters, so I decided to grab a bite to eat before my show. I have had Thai food in a number of different countries so I decided to go all out and get a big spread because this place was so packed on a Monday night. The prawn dumpling was full of prawn flavor but it seemed unoriginal or not inspired because the dumpling was served with what tasted like canned or bottled sauce. The green curry was average, no real explosion of flavors I would expect from a good curry and I had it with the coconut rice which was a waste of money because there was no discernible tasted different between that and regular steam rice. I said I was going to order me a spread so I decided to splurge on a coconut sundae. The presentation was very nice, but the flavors were eradicate going from semi-sweet to dull, only thing that saved this from been left on the table was the texture which was felt original. I would skip this if looking for good Thai food in London, there are definitely better places in London. Actually I think I have had better when I was in Berlin.
