This place has had a make-​over and is better than ever!
As well as being affiliated to a more than worthwhile homeless charity, they also house my grumbling stomach some lunchtimes, never with disappointment.
They have the usuals (i.e. sarnies, jacket potatoes) but what’s great about them is that you can get a tortilla or filo pie slice to go plus 2 salads of your choice for £5 or under. It’s just great for a summer’s day or when you’re sick of greasy food when everything healthy is shop-​bought or expensive.
Sit in for a sun-​soaked treat and don’t be intimidated by the specials: they pull them off. I’ve tried a chana masala, jerk chicken and squash & courgette lasagne — all delectable!
