Look at the name carefully so you do not mistake the name for Fight Club. Brad Pitt will not appear and there is no bare knuckle punches to be pulled. Flight club is darts, for today. Housed in a cool bar spot it’s not your typical old style pub. That does not take away from the fun. Book a throw line and release a sigh of relief that you don’t have to struggle to calculate as you score, as this is done real time by the power of technology. Eat, drink and throw

Love this place! Such a brilliant concept and well executed. Great food, lovely cocktails and there are 3 different darts games to play. Absolutely love the sharing cocktail you can buy which comes in a winners cup! Fantastic!

What a great place, makes darts possibly the best pub game going after this reinvention of the game! Brilliant!

LOVED this place, I cannot recommend it enough for a fun night out doing something a little bit different with mates/family/colleagues/randoms. My friends are used to me doing anything other than straightforward drinks in a bar for my birthday, and this time I was about to book karaōke when I heard about this place. It was sold to me as ‘like Bounce but with darts instead of table tennis’, and that’s quite apt. They have a decent bar and bookable areas for darts which you’ll need to reserve in advance — take this as the first and only rule of Flight Club(badam-bam-tssssh) as similar to tables at Bounce, it’s impossible to get one on the night unless you get very lucky with a last min cancellation. I’d booked an ‘oche’(playing area) for a two-hour slot on my birthday — at £25 an hour versus triple figures for a karaōke booth, it seemed like a no-brainer in terms of value for money. We arrived a little early to load up at the busy bar first, then were led downstairs to our oche. Each one fits max 12 people, and it was lucky that I’d brought the maximum number in the end as what they don’t tell you in advance is that the games are played in doubles. So unless you want to fiddle around with uneven teams or have 1 person versus 3, it works far more smoothly if you rope in an even number of people. Each oche is beautifully furnished with wooden high tables and leather seating(though most people were excitedly on their feet most of the time!). The playing area is clearly marked out with where to stand, while electronic display screens overhead show live scores with fun graphics as the game progresses — similar to when you go bowling I guess(but cooler!). We were all very mature(not) and had plenty of silly fun before the games even started, as the machine takes a pic of each player as they enter their name. The technology works amazingly — the automated scoring is instant so there’s no need for arithmetic gymnastics or learning your 17 times table, and it’s easy to see who’s in the lead and who’s up next. There’s 3 different games too, so not only the first-from-301-to-zero style play. I think the most amusing for a large group is ‘Killer’, with each pair assigned a different number and the ability to knock other teams out by hitting their number three times. It definitely brought out everyone’s competitive streaks, to much amusement ;) The experience was really made by the service though. Everyone I spoke to over phone/email to arrange the booking was refreshingly helpful and the process made very straightforward. I thought the lady at the check-in desk when we arrived was lovely, but even she was surpassed by the very sweet little waitress we had looking after our oche. She took extremely good care of us, checking frequently for drinks orders but what I appreciated more was the way she kept me informed — checking when I wanted the pre-ordered food served and so on. The food itself was very tasty — pizza paddle boards and sweet potato fries are the way to go by the way — and she even brought out a chocolate brownie for me with a candle in to sing happy birthday! I was really chuffed at how much my friends all enjoyed it. I’d been worried 2 hours was too long, but as always happens with activities like this(esp karaōke) it turned out to be too short. Darts is a great leveller too, as I’ve got too many pro table tennis friends to go to Bounce ;) I think everyone generally got better as we played but there was definitely a(potentially alcohol induced?) dip in the ‘skills’ towards the end! On second thought, it was probably wise to call a halt after two hours and before incurring any injuries ;) Thanks Flight Club for a very happy birthday Monday!

What a fun venue! My work had our Christmas party here yesterday and I truly enjoyed myself. In fact, I have a sore head today that just demonstrates the fun we had. The concept is really cool as I haven’t played darts before and have only seen darts in seedy pubs. I never realised how many dart games there are. There was a wide range to choose from with clear directions for each game. This is a classy, but casual venue. The other clientele appeared to be mostly professionals as there seemed to be a few Christmas parties on. The wait staff were very attentive and kept the food and drinks flowing. The pizza and fries was pretty standard, but good for bar food. It was a very good venue for a Christmas party as it had us entertained. I would recommend this venue for parties and am seriously considering having my husbands next birthday party here.

The first rule of Flight Club: To talk about it of course. You don’t have to be Phil ‘the Power’ Taylor. No chalkboards, dodgy maths, or damp corner of a pub needed here. Electronic darts with digital screens. Shanghai, Demolition, and Killer dart games, this is social darts for anyone to play along to, so perfect for large groups. It’s a huge two-floor space off City Road with a lively vibe going on. It was actually conceived by the owners of Bounce, London’s home of ping-pong. Some nice pizzas and you can order cocktails like The Lady Killer from the comfort of the touchpad. Seriously…I could talk for ages, for pages, for stages and stages each contemplating my love for this place. Ok last bit doesn’t rhyme but seriously, The night was SOMUCHFUN! I’m actually a keen darts player, esp from growing up. I love the idea first and foremost. Not just normal darts no this is reminiscent of my time in Japan playing electronic darts. And anyone did play! And win and lose an win but not care because we were all getting merry but ultimately having fun! Using tablets you use that to play the games but a plasma screen above shows the game as it happens in terms of scoring. We played for hours! And I could have continued on. Was just so good. I will definitely book a booth for a variety of friends, girls and boys. Anyone can play, and as many people which means it’s a perfect evening group game. Totally awesome idea and vibe going on. Could be a big rival to ping pong Bounce’s trend of Ping Pong being THE game in town, so welcome too. Bar upstairs was cool too. Greatly designed. Nice pizza too. GO. Go Now. GOSOON. JUSTGO. Ok I’ll stop talking.

I hadn’t heard of this place until I got invited along with some people from work. I did a bit of research before we went, and was looking forward to it! It didn’t disappoint! If anyone has gone to Top Golf before, it reminded me of that-but for darts! And you can’t go wrong with food, drink, darts and friends all in once place so this place 180%(see what I did there) lived up to my expectations. It’s the perfect venue for a get together and something a bit different to do. The staff were great, always on hand, drinks were good, food was okay-what you would expect. But the real points come from it’s originality and the really good vibes you get-hearing people cheering and really having a good time-something London often lacks on this miserable December nights. Make sure you book as this place is filling up quickly!

A great new darts club in East London… darts club you say?!? Yes, we’re living in the post darts age where pretty much every darts board has been fazed out of all the pubs around, but thank God we have hipsters to repackage it and sell it back to us… Saying that — it’s good, this is a repackaging worthy of the Stones and Blues music as it kept our group of 12 happy for at least 2.5 hours. We hired 2 oches(think area — pronounced ockey if you’re like me and had no idea what the hell was going on when I booked…) and from here put in a pre-order for some food. The dart boards are all hooked up to a giant electro screen and they do the maths for you(no embarrassing moments spending 5 minutes trying to take 5 from 400 in front of your pals…) and it’s pretty much like bowling with the way it’s interactive and prompts you when it’s your turn. As well as standard darts there were games like killer where you could have a variety of styles and contests to play. The beer and wine went down well(pale ale was nice) but a number of us did think the pizza was a little too dry and thin, not the best I’ve ever had tbh… Looking forward to going back, very friendly staff too.

This is a great new place to go with friends. Each oche(which is, like, a darting arena) can hold up to 12 people, and at £25 an hour, that means that if you have a full house it’s only about £2 each(and only about £4 if there’s 6 of you!). I think that’s really good value, when you compare it to things like bowling or the various mini golf places popping up. I’m no dartster, so was a bit worried that I would be crap and/or find it boring, but it’s sufficiently varied with different games and options to play in teams to keep the interest going, and of course the computerised scoring is an added bonus. The system worked smoothly, even if you did have to use a selfie taken at the least flattering angle possible as your avatar. Food and drink isn’t cheap but isn’t horrifically expensive; I enjoyed my chicken burger. It’s easy to order(perhaps too easy) as you can summon wait staff to your oche with a button. I did this as a team night out, which I think worked very well, and with space for 12 and the option obviously to book more than one oche, I think it suits this sort of vibe excellently. The booking was smooth, though I found it a little strange how ardently I was told to book food and drink in advance(which needs to be done at least 48 hours in advance), as if it would be difficult to do on the day, whereas in reality it was completely straightforward.

Flight Club has been floating around in the London media for some time now and I finally landed there this week and boy oh boy did things take off!(Too many flight puns? I think not!) We(15 of us) had an absolutely brilliant night. On arrival we were directed straight round to our large area with 2 dart boards. There was wine awaiting and the dart boards were all set up, we just needed to input our names(as you do with bowling). There are numerous games to choose from and you can play in doubles which means that up to 12 – 16 people can get involved — perfect for large groups! The magic of Flight Club is their automatic dart technology which calculates your score. Yes, we’re in the 21st century people — no more chalk just sit back and watch those numbers fall. They also have a great selection of food. Their pizza paddles in particular were really good with toppings such as wild mushrooms, gorgonzola & rocket and cobble lane cured salami & mozzarella — this was a particular favourite of mine! The menu states that their for 2 people to share but they’re HUGE — three people could easily share. I also really enjoyed the mini bruschetta with guacamole(yes I have a guacamole obsession, it’s under control… I think). We all departed with smiles on our faces and feeling very merry indeed.(I just had to put that last one in!)

Also, Lust auf Darts?

The more wine you have, the better you get.

Pretty cool idea! Take the old pub activity, a bit of technology to wonderfully simplify it and bang, you get flight club! Only opened 4 weeks ago, so fresh you still smell the paint. Came here with a group who pre organised so I am making an assumption it is best to book if you want to guarantee an area. Super easy to get started and work through a few different game settings. Think bowling as the nearest comparison. The technical aspect means no maths required! Plus point there. Food was sharing but pretty decent. Pizzas came in a variety of flavours all pretty tasty. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good space to be able to mix with group with large bar space and seating areas if you are just popping in for a drink. Thought this was a great casual evening night out.

An absolute blast. All the fun of playing darts, drinking wine and eating pizza — none of the math. Sounds like a winning combination to me! Automatic scoring = so much more fun and easy. Great for a group, we had a crew of 15 and were perfectly suited in their private area with 2 dartboards, and easily flowing wine and beer. The service was excellent and friendly, and the games are super easy to jump right into. The bar is class all the way. Newly opened and mint condition, this outpost in the newly renovated Alphabeta Building between Old Street and Moorgate stations is a little bit City a little bit Shoreditch, and I mean this in a good way. Fun night out with pals or a group booking, do it. Just the right amount of interactivity for a really fun night. Sporty or not sporty, it’s a hit. Get into it.

Located near Old Street & Moorgate tube stations, Flight Club is a large industrial venue. It looks very cool and the clientele are an interesting mix from the City. They serve cocktails, beer and even shots(I couldn’t believe how many people were choosing these on a Wednesday night — old fogey that I am) as well as having a nice selection of top shelf liquor. The food on offer is primarily meant for sharing, which means that Flight Club caters quite well to groups who are there to play darts. I didn’t get a chance to actually play but it looks like a great venue for this purpose. I would go for it. I did have one of their sharing pizzas, which was very tasty. And people were enjoying the drinks. The downsides, and reason why I couldn’t give more stars, were that it was quite expensive for what you were getting(£14 for a pizza) and it was ungodly loud. It wasn’t a club but a place to hang with friends and it was so loud you couldn’t hear anyone who was not right next to you. At least they did choose good music from a variety of decades. Not sure if I’ll come back unless it’s to play darts as I can get just as lovely food and drink for less, and be able to converse with my friends at the same time.

This place is AWWWWSUUUUM! This new venue is located City/Shoreditch border and is allll about darts. They have created a nicely decorated, big venue with a tonne of dart boards with real time scoring, a bunch of games, cornered off areas, waitress service and lots of food and wine. This place is great for work team outings and big group catch ups and even more importantly fun for both ladies and gents, dart fans and dart haters! It is easy to play, with great instructions and super speedy cameras that score for you! The areas for each dart board(called oches) are spacious with plenty of seating. They also have more private areas for parties. Each oche is perfect for up to 12 people and costs £25 for an hour — GREATVALUE! Cocktail menu is fab with lots of different cocktails to try and the food menu is all about sharing platters including tasty pizzas. I had so so much fun and would recommend for any group of people looking for an evening that is a bit different.
