Beautiful garden — a lovely place to sit in the sun. Delicious vegetarian meal(not that I’m a vegetarian), a bit short on the halloumi cheese but when I politely commented, a fresh little pile of grilled halloumi arrived(and quickly) which I thought was an excellent response and that prompted me to write this review. What a great way to respond to a customer comment — really good service. Thank you Grange Pub! Food was really good and we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch.

Went here twice for Sunday roast and fell head over heels in love with this place. I tend to avoid pubs, mainly because I don’t do well around noisy crowds and football fans. This one however is a mix between a pub and a restaurant, with a lovely back-yard that I believe also leads to a private room that can looks like it be rented for parties(It’s an assumption though, not really sure). The food is lovely, the way the place is furnished and decorated makes it feel like someone’s home(in a nice way) but the biggest selling point for me is its family feeling. I feel instantly happy when I walk in. Families take their kids and dogs every Sunday for a nice roast al fresco in summer, and in front of the fireplace in winter. The staff is exceptionally kind. They care about the service they provide and make sure everyone is having a nice time. It’s exactly the sort of place you’d want to go to to have a pint after a long day at work, and if you’d like to treat yourself to some nice cauliflower & cheese you won’t be disappointed. The sense of family and cosiness this place give me is a good enough reason not to leave Ealing. Definitely coming back, like, every Sunday for the rest of my life.

I’ve eaten here a few times and also hired out the Summer House for an event. The garden at The Grange is most definitely it’s biggest selling point, it’s quiet and intimate with candles at night time and lots of cosy corners to sit and enjoy a glass of wine. I like the fact that the TV is in the Summer House and the Reading Room, so if you’re not a sports fan you can still enjoy a great atmosphere in the rest of the pub. They have a great wine selection, and the restaurant is a nice raised area away from the main bar, so if you want to sit and enjoy a meal you won’t be bothered by the rest of the pub and you get table service. They run lots of events and really embrace the local community, making it more than just ‘your local pub’. Parking can be tricky because of local permit restrictions, but it’s such a lovely walk along the common it’s really hard-pushed to be annoyed about it. Overall you can tell this pub is family run, with a lovely team of people helping to make it a great place to visit. If you do go, make sure you visit for Sunday roast, it’s really good!

I love this pub! First off, it’s right around the corner from where I live so it’s great to not have to go to Ealing Broadway, where it’s busier. The food, while a bit pricey, is delicious! My husband and I have tried a variety of side dishes and mains and haven’t complained at all. The bartenders are very casual and easy to talk to, although, we have noticed on a few occasions that some of them don’t seem to know the food and wine menu completely, as we have had to point out a few times what we are talking about regarding our orders… but that is hardly anything to gripe about as the service is always phenomenal and we receive our orders in a timely manner. This pub also has a great beer garden! It’s very cozy and feels like home.

This is a lovely pub with a nice beer garden and some interesting décor inside. The atmosphere is really nice and if you’re in the area you could do a lot worse than to visit for a couple of pints. Just don’t order any food. It’s horrendously overpriced and mediocre at best. £12.50 for a chicken burger that requires copious quantities of HP or Ketchup to give any flavour, for example. It would get 4 stars if not for the food being such a rip-off.

Went there on a Thursday afternoon, I have to see the pub and the garden are really nice(the only star is for this fact) but the staff was so unfriendly and unhelpful, here the story: ordered 2 half pint of beer and a bowl of chip and that came up to just over £12, I though my god this is pricy but paid anyway, after a bit a thinking came back to the bar asking for the price list, there was none so I asked the lady that served me to checked what she charged me for, she was obviously not happy about that and decided instead of checking to serve the ladies that were waiting behind me which I though was really rude, after waiting there like an idiot at the bar for 10 minutes she finally gave in and checked, only to find out she charged me for full pint instead of half, did not get a sorry just a the half pint did not show up on my till but got my money back anyway(thankfully had pay by card so had a proof of how much I paid) the chips came about 20 minutes later, the same lady that served me brought the chips, no cutlery, no napkins, just the bowl, she said she was coming back with some sauce(and I assume at least one napkin) left the pub an hour later and never got any sauce or napkins. This was my first and last visit, shame as the garden is so nice and perfect for a lazy sunny afternoon at the pub but refused to give my money to such miserable people!

Haven’t tried the food there but food looks good, nice décor, decent beer garden, great selection of drinks, almost always crowded, hit & miss staff, the only let down is our recent experience. We wanted some drinks and a bowl of chips and was asked to place the order for food on the other side. No signs of «Please wait to be seated» and no staff in the area, so we just sat down and grabbed a couple of menu. A lady came over, and when we said we wanted some chips, she asked us to leave the area immediately, in a rather unpleasant manner. Won’t be rushing back. There are many other good pubs. EPT and The Red Lion are wayyyyy better.

Lovely pub which used to be a friend’s local. Very nice in summer or just for a leisurely Sunday lunch, while reading the newspapers.

Great pub a little off the beaten track in Ealing. Excellent wine list including prosecco by the glass. Staff friendly and the food is pretty good. It seems to attract a relatively eclectic crowd(by Ealing standards) and has a good laid back vibe. Real selling point is the back yard which is a tranquil little haven with assorted herbs, olive trees and tomato plants dotted all over the show. On the whole the classiest venue for a couple pints on a summer evening in Ealing Common.

Only started using this pub for a Sunday tipple or two just recently. After fainting at the 4 pound a pint Peroni(settled for Bombadier thereafter !) found a nice spot on stools at end of the bar, friendly bar maid with some good banter. Clearly very popular with locals and although yet to try the food, it looks and smells pretty darn good. Outside areas look good so hope to sample the summer sun there later in the year

Away from the hustle and bustle of Ealing Broadway this pub is overlooks Ealing Common. Good sized bar and separate restaurant area with a good quality menu serving generous portions of good old British pub food. Range of wines and beers. There is a beer garden for use in the summer and a couple of rooms for hire if required. Great for a beer on a lazy Sunday. Take a look

My favourite pub in Ealing. The Grange is now quite contemporary and I assume part of a modern chain of pubs, however it still serves good food and has great atmosphere. I used to visit this pub 15 years ago and back then, even though it was the traditional pub, it was one of the best in Ealing and still is! The outside courtyard is nice too and a good summer and winter pub!

The food is lovely as it is a gastro pub and they do an amazing baked camambert. They have a private function room and pub games. But the drinks are so expensive and the atmosphere is tense as it is obviouse there are issues between the management and the staff.

This pub was renovated and made into a modern gastropub a couple years back. It’s got lounge-y areas for a drink and a snack, outdoor tables, and a more formal dining room area. It’s become a nice place to dine, but is much like every other gastropub that’s sprung up in the last few years: trying too hard to be rustic-cool. Food’s good but nothing special for the price. I prefer it as a nice place to get a drink and share some bar snacks. If you want a great food experience in this neck of the woods, try Charlotte’s Place( ) right next door for a resaurant or the Ealing Park Tavern( ) a couple of miles away for a gastropub.
