Nothing to see folks — move on move on. Straightforward British café. Meh execution but nothing is terrible.

I work very close so this is a great place to pop into at all times. There is a reason it is busy and that is due to the great staff and wonderful homemade food. There is always a special menu and a selection of sandwiches and roll. The cakes are very tempting and always good for a treat. I agree that in the holidays there are lots of children and many toddlers and babies. It is a great place for a catch up. There are only a few tables and it can get cramped so I always opt for take out.

Great food, friendly service, does takeaway or sit in. Nice place to. sit and chill with a coffee. It can get very busy at lunchtimes though, and if like me you sometimes have young kids with you it can be tricky to negotiate with a baby buggy as the seating area is quite narrow. One of my favourite lunch places in Crouch End though because of the quality of the food and the friendly atmosphere.

Honeycomb is a bakery café. This place is often busy. I’m not particularly found of kids and the place is literally crawling with them sometimes. I decided to stop in here on a weekday afternoon. I had a cheese sandwhich on a crusty roll which was really nice. I really wanted to eat one of the gorgeous pastries this shop so proudly displays. I was trying to do the healthy thing. Next time.

Honeycomb. Hmmmmmmy home from home when I’m working from home! A delicious all butter croissant baked on the premises, a freshly squeezed orange juice and a killer coffee. Read the paper or watch the Crouch End residents stroll by. Avoid the post school run rush and you’re in heaven. Or go for lunch and sample the great food(try the tortilla).
