Nice place to have a few drinks and some small plates with your friends at Westfield Stratford. They have Happy Hour most of the time(specially on the week days). You can share a pitcher or have two cocktails for one during the evening. Average food, quite tasty. They have a little bit of everything on the menu(it is mainly South American food/Tex Mex). It is nice if you are not from those countries I guess. Nachos are quite good; try their chicken fajitas if you can, they are super tasty!(they charge £1 for cheese, and it is a tiny, tiny, tiny bowl, not enough for one fajita! so you may want to have without it). Desserts are yummy! specially ‘Macadamia cheesecake’ Staff is pretty amazing. Super friendly and helpful. It is one of the best thing about the place. It is really crowded on Happy Hour evenings but it is cheap, so why not?! The place is quite big, located in the top floor of the mall.

I have good memories of Las Iguanas from my uni life when they opened up a branch opposite my college — the first Latin American food in Oxford :) This was when they were a brand-new chain and had the novelty factor going for them; I used to love their lunch deals, and be impressed with the freshness of their food. It was feeling nostalgic for the good old days that led me to meeting a date here for lunch when we were pressed for time and wanted somewhere quiet-ish in Westfield. Well, it was decent but not as great as I remembered and I felt faintly embarrassed for having suggested it. The food has gone downhill: bland and fairly dry compared to what I remembered. I was overcharged for the fries and would have made a point of it, except that the staff were uninterested enough, and the manager herself who took me to my table seemed to not care about my comfort. I wouldn’t return, I’m afraid.

I haven’t been here for many years. I thought I’d give it a try. I tried the prawns in curry with rice and corn tortillas. The best part was the tortillas and the happy hour offers. Plus they have alot of seating and staff-not that you would know. Meh.

The food here is absolutely delicious with a range. You can ask for a vegetarian menu, halal menu or normal menu. My favourite option is the tapas as you can mix and match. The nachos are amazing! Also, there is the happy hour/s for 241 on cocktails. Staff are very attentive and management is fantastic. Will definitely go back!

Arrived to have some birthday drinks at the bar. Post 7pm on a Thursday evening. This is a review of the bar staff. In a word. They’re shit. Customer service. shit again. What customer service. The bar is more or less U — shaped. Three bar staff serving like they were restricted by a zimmer frame each. Having waited to be served patiently on the inner side of the bar, we were ignored. People rocked up to the bar after us and they were also served. If you don’t intend to serve a section of the bar. Easy. Close that side. When asked are you serving here… The reply was, you’re better of going to the other side. All three staff saw us eye contact was established. What happened to courteous, polite and efficient bar staff. Well happy to report… Our money was welcome at a bar named after an animal that goes moo. Thanks Las dick head bar staff. Mgt you might want to have a word.

Let’s be honest, I’m a great fan of this place. They proud themselves on being a Latin American restaurant, but having been there, I have to say that it doesn’t resemble their food that much even though they try(I have to say that ‘Albondigas’ looks quite similar to the Argentine one) but the food is good and always freshly made as they always fill my requests. I specially like the lunch menu. They have some of the same dishes as in the regular menu but around £2 or £3 cheaper. You can use that spare pounds to order a starter or a dessert… Dulce de Leche Cheesecake anyone? My favourite: The Chicken Tinga Cuban Revolution with curly fries on the side. This place is also very good for a long happy hour(12 – 7:30 pm), when you can get cocktails, pitchers or beers half price(well, not half price, but you get two of the same for the price of one). Mango Collins is my favourite if you want to know =:) I have to add that the atmosphere and the service is also nice and friendly. A fair end to a shopping day.

Nice atmosphere, tasty tapas and friendly service. This place is great for tapas and the guacamole is pretty good. I can strongly recommend the Cha-Cha Chorizo; Fish Taco; Lechuga Rellenos and Ensalada Jitomate. We also had the Pato Taquito which I found tasty however there was a bone in one of them which concluded my dining experience. Fortunately it was the last part of my meal. I personally hate bones in, on or near a table setting. But hey, accidents happen and overall the food was good. We ordered the Iguanas Cosmo as part of their happy hour 2 for 1 deal. For me it was a order once kinda drink. Others might enjoy it however I’m not a fan. The value and service of Las Iguanas is good and I’d eat here again… of course hoping the second time I wouldn’t find a bone to pick y’all. Enjoy amigos!

This place is pretty good. No, you won’t find ‘authentic’ Latin food here but they do a pretty good British take on it. The service was friendly and fast, drinks were tasty but not overly strong — so was able to sway rather than stumble out after lunch. It’s a mall like smaller ones you’d find in USA but the open layout of the restaurant meant you’re not cramped into other tables, which is fine by me as I noticed kids were here with their parents. Would I return, probably not from a concerted effort but if I’m in the area — why not.

I’m definitely a fan of this place considering I hate Gourmet Burger next door and had the worst possible experience there ever. This place, however, made up for my terrible Stratford Westfield food experience. The staff was friendly and the long island iced tea pitchers we had were tasty. Make sure you ask them to put one extra shot of tequila in the pitcher to give it much better flavor! The food wasn’t as good as I thought it would be, but the friendliness of the staff and the flavour of the drinks made up for it!

Part of the chain, this place sits on the top level of the Westfield Stratford City shopping centre overlooking the Olympic stadium. Whilst it has a restaurant section, it also has a bar area which is very relaxing during a long shopping day.

A huge restaurant on the upper floor of the Westfield Centre in Stratford, London. Haven’t tried the restaurant(thus the 3 stars), but it has an excellent bar attached. Loads of bar stools as well as comfy armchairs and sofas. A pint of San Miguel is only £3. Great place to wait if you are early for the cinema.
