I stayed here between 14 July to 19 July 2015. I bought this as express deal from Priceline. It was rated as a three star property. That’s really not a correct statement . The positives: very very close to Earls Court station and several restaurants and stores . Free wifi throughout the hotel . Friendly and courteous staff Rooms were kept clean The negatives : The lobby is very nice . The lift is slow and the linoleum on the floor is warped, I almost tripped getting out of there . The Rooms need updating and bigger flatscreen TV sets . If you’re out and about. It’s ok. There is no air conditioning in the hotel, but being from Las Vegas, the summer was mild for us

The staff was friendly and accomodating. The breakfasts are good enough to get you by. Our room on the 6th floor was terrible. Toilet didn’t work properly, the bed looked like it was from the 1900’s and the matress was stained all over, the lay out was aweful where you could easily get up out of bed and slam your head against the wall, the window wouldn’t open all the way and kept closing shut, the fan didn’t reach the window so we just sweated it out the first night. The elevator is terribly slow. You can only get wifi in the lobby. I complained to Sara and she put us up on the 4th floor which made all the difference. The reason I gave it a 3 star is that I don’t think you can expect much for the price. The owner of these types of places don’t care too much about paying out anything in my opinion. So, if it’s hot out don’t get a room above the 4th floor. The location is great.

First the good. The hotel is only 100 feet or so from the Earl’s Court underground train station and on the main line from Heathrow. The neighborhood has several reasonably priced restaurants. Staff very friendly. Only a few minutes to main tourist areas. Now the bad. The hotel is not very clean, the mattress is old and lumpy. Air conditioner doesn’t work. Granted it isn’t very expensive but Priceline listed it as a 3 star which is why the $ 125 per night seemed like a great deal. It is at best a 2 star and the rate is probably reasonable.
