If you’re coming here to watch sport… it’s perfect. …especially if you’re Australian. Came with a friend to watch rugby World Cup and was happy to find myself in the majority for a change. Food was pretty good. Quite Wetherspoon-ish menu and price wise. Think I paid about a fiver for an all day breakfast(at 7pm lol) Anyway as I said above, great place for watching some sport. I’ll be back.

Terrible place. Mind you, i’ve only seen the people who stagger out of it, usually disturbing the peace at 2am by chanting. I wish it would shut down. It’s 00:41 and i can hear the beat of their music in my bedroom, 2 doors down the road. I’m sure there’s a law against that?

I was a bit down and out in London, so I applied for part time work here after finishing Uni. I worked here approximately 1 hour and 17 minutes. At 1 hour and 18 minutes, I grabbed my cardigan and said good-bye. It was just not worth the 5 quid per hour to be scowled at by angry South African girls and degraded by old, drunk Aussies. I’m also just not the type to get up and dance on the bar as part of my job — I have a Masters, dammit! I might have been able to stomach this gig had they not started training me at 6 pm on a Thursday, their busiest night. I kept in touch with a bunch of the staff — mostly because my roommate still worked there. Maybe I’m a prude, but the work environment was a bit incestuous. The Brit manager seemed more like a Mormon Polygamist by the way he acted with his female Antipodean employees. As a patron — this place is okay, but I would say buyers beware… it’s staffed by crazies!

Complete madness, lively and slightly un-hinged is how you would describe this place and I am sure that anyone coming over from Australia to work, explore and play in London will have been told of this place. Week-ends it is a real hotspot and if you want a messy night then head on over. This place is open all the time and everynight they will have something going on, D. J’s, cheap booze, and student night — any excuse will do. Party central especially for the Aussie contingent in Fulham and further afield, a crazy drink fuelled frenzy of male and female hormones. Nothing sophisticated about it but a good night will be had if you let it all hang out.
