Avoid! Avoid! Avoid. With a plethora of quality high end watch boutiques in London, you be best to avoid this establishment. One could get past the outdated and uninviting interior, but the awful customer experience you will receive, will be ingrained in your memories. Went in to sell my watch, got an almost offensive lowball offer, which I actually fully understand, as all businesses are established to make money, so no complaints on trying to get a product at the lowest price possible. So far nothing out of the ordinary, just your average mediocre experience, then I met Nino, this guy should be behind a computer screen, and in no way should be allowed to talk to customers, what a disgrace. Kept ignoring me while I was trying to have a conversation with him, talked down to me, and just made me feel like I wasn’t worth while as a customer. I emailed the place after this experience as it truly left me shocked. I did receive an email back from Nino himself, saying g he didnt feel my email was correct, but that the director would like to talk to me, as apparently they take customer service seriously! Hahaha what a joke. That was the last I have heard of them… Do yourself a favor, so many other better watch boutiques in London you could visit. Keep your dignity and avoid this place like the plague.

If you want a tourist trap with your watch shopping experience, then look know further than the Watchcenter. With their old, crotchety Sales Manager, who is as useless as tits on a boar, you will enjoy wasting your time look at subpar quality watches as they overestimate their quality. When I went inside to inquire about a Jaeger LeCoultre they did not even have the courtesy to introduce me to a watch expert. Instead they had someone who nothing about watches(I think she did accounting) show me the watch and did not know anything about it. Particularly, the flexibility of the pricing because the watch had some obvious scratches which made it far from mint. Also, when I asked the useless manager that sounded like an 80’s used car salesman with a fake English accent about a potential trade with a watch I bought in, a discontinued mint Panerai Luminor Marina in Blue that retails for about 3,500 — 4,000GBP — he glanced at it and offered 1,000 as he was working with another customer. I’m not expecting to get anywhere near retail but make a realistic fair offer. I guess because his current customer was wearing a suit he did not expect me to drop 7,000GBP on a watch. With his ridiculously low and insulting offer, I politely packed up my watch, thanked the women for her time and proceeded to leave. In the end, I went to and it was by far a more personal experience. I will never go to any of the second hand retail watch shops on New Bond/Old Bond Street and will only visit the appointment only internet based companies as they value service and tend to be more eager with making a fair and reasonable deal.
