Excellente cuisine, réellement savoureuse et authentique. J’ai choisi le filet de canette avec sa sauce au miel et pommes dauphinois, sur l’ardoise du jour, et c’était somptueux. Le staff est très chaleureux et très courtois. On se sent bien, on se sent chez nous. À né pas rater!

Ayant vécu à Lyon pendant plus de deux ans, j’ai de grosses attentes sur la cuisine lyonnaise.
Finalement c’est sûrement un des meilleurs que j’ai pu faire !
La cuisine est juste parfaite, des rations justes, assaisonnements justes.
La carte est plutôt courte, avec un excellent choix d’entrées.
Le service est complètement dingue et le lieu vraiment atypique. C’est un peu la bonne excuse pour aller flâner autour de Montparnasse.
Petit bémol sur les prix des plats, il faut quand même compter 35 euros par tête pour bien manger, alors que l’âme de la cuisine lyonnaise est plutôt quelque chose de copieux et bon marché !
Retournons-​y !!

Our first evening in Paris, we were lucky enough to dine at Chez Marcel. The owner kindly made room for a table of two in its packed restaurant close to closing time. We had just rushed back from a night of shopping on Champs Élysées and climbing the Arc de Triomphe and were so lucky to get a table at this authentic French restaurant. We ordered a fish from the dinner specials menu, a light and flavorful mushroom salad, and the best coq au vin ever, all paired with a lovely white wine our server recommended. The bread & butter they served was also delicious! If you get the chance, definitely come here for a meal, you won’t regret it!

Lovely, very tiny and intimate dining experience across the street from Hotel Six. Super-​friendly staff, excellent wine list and fresh ingredients make this a winner. Reservations are a must.

Update: came once more for our last Parisian meal. Great, as always! We had:
–entrecôte (comes with cheese sauce on the side)
–beef with pepper sauce (plate of the day)
–Mille-​feuille
–mint apéritif, on the house
Always a pleasure and will never forget their amazing food, friendliness, and overall great culinary experience!

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, classic traditional French menu. They also have daily specials to choose from. Seems like a place where the locals frequent. We had dinner last night (Wednesday) and ended up chatting with a couple of regulars. Quaint cozy place — make reservations or be prepared to wait.

One of the best dining experiences of my life! I was visiting here during the summer and we stumbled onto this place by chance. They only seat by reservation only but luckly they had a table available for us. The waitress was absolutely attentive to our evening and our meal. She recommended what we should get and to order our meat «pink». I ordered the enterocot with potatoes and vegetables. It was was cooked to perfection and honestly it was the beat peice of steak I have ever had. I never eat the fat on the steak but I loved it on this steak. It was so complementing to the meat. Every bite was really amazing sometimes I had to close my eyes and just enjoy the tastes and flavors. It was unbelievably good. For dessert we had the almond tart which was very sweet and different. Overall one of the best dining experiences of my life. If you are ever in paris you MUST hit this place up. I will definitely be back.

We came here on our first night in Paris, and it was a perfect start to our trip! A great french bistro experience. The service is warm and welcoming, and the food is delicious. The house wine was delicious and cheap. We sat outside and took our time and really enjoyed our evening here. Highly recommend!

Fantastic service, food and energy at the place. The escargots are some of Paris’ best and the sole meunière is perfect. Save room for the self-​serve cheese plate post-​dinner and expect a welcome and goodbye kiss from the manager.

We came here while on our honeymoon. The owner/​manager was incredibly friendly and we were treated very well by waitstaff (despite the fact that neither of us spoke much French). I would definitely recommend this place to anyone based on the hospitality alone. Good food too.

We ate at Chez Marcel last night with out Parisian friends. The evening was one of our highlights of our visit to Paris. The authentic food and cooking from the Lyon region of France was outstanding. The service and ambiance was great and a nice change from the tourist traps along the Champs Eleesey. Highly recommended.

Une tuerie
Chez Marcel est une véritable découverte pour les amateurs de bonne cuisine avec du goût, de la simplicité, de l’authenticité. À l’image du patron, qui est un phénomèné à lui seul. Il vous accueil comme s’il vous connaissait depuis longtemps, vous invite à sa table, est aux petits soins pour vous, vous cajole. Nous avons passés une superbe soirée en tête à tête, la proximité des tables n’est en y un cas dérangeante dans ce cadre authentique. Les prix sont très corrects: c’est un tout. Pour les amateurs de cochon: le fameux carpaccio de cochon, l’andouillette, la Poutine de cochon grillée. Pour les autres: un cabillaud à tomber, un carré d’agneau fondant à souhait et très proportionné. Quant aux desserts: un mille feuille à la vanille dressé sur le bar, une tarte aux pralines délicieuse. La seule maison qui m’a servi un Whisky japonais qui détrôné les bon vieux écossais. Je vous le recommande, après recommandation d’une amie qui l’a élu table du vendredi soir.

The food was good. Charming ambiance (we ate outside next to lots of potted plants, and right next to another couple (essentially sharing a table). The prices were decent, but they charged 10 euro to share an entrée which was unexpected.

L’ancien chef de Chez Brigitte vient d’ouvrir son propre restaurant dans ce petit restaurant de quartier. On y retrouve son oh combien fameux carpaccio de cochon (TERRIBLE!!!) et une tarte aux pralines à tomber raide. Le prix est plus que raisonnable.

Enfin un bon restaurant
Enfin un très bon restaurant découvert le mois dernier par hasard. La carte propose un très grand choix d’entrées et de plats. L’accueil bien que assez effacé est très efficace et souple. La note est relativement correcte et les produits sont frais. Bravo aux chef de l’établissement.

Petit resto du 6éme, très chaleureux et très convial. On y mange très bien pluôt des plats traditionnels et de la cuisine lyonnaise. Attention c’est fermé le samedi et le dimanche !!! très bon rapport qualité — prix et très bon accueil. C’est le RDV des amis
