No. It’s something ironical that this small hidden-​gem-​kinda looking place actually was not such thing after we had a great french cuisine at La Rotonde, where we had an amazing sole and beef tartar for our entrees along with fresh bread and ** echire** butter. This small, look-​like a hidden gem serves bread with no butter… Our entrees were seabass and pork. Both were just ok-​level, which means you can get the same level of these dishes anywhere. Very great price performance though. we won’t go back.

Cozy and intimate interior, very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent quality, good wine list. Loved the duck breast. Beautiful desserts.
Reasonably priced; 4 entrees with wine will run about € 120. Conclusion: eat here!

Very pleasant restaurant with good value food. It’s a bit tucked away, but I guess that is part of the reason it is less touristy. The multi-​tasking gentleman was very nice, as well as the waitress. We had entrée+plat each and shared one dessert and half a bottle of wine and it came to € 87 which I think is pretty good for the food we got. The duck breast dish was very interesting with some hints of Asian spices (cumin, mandarin peels?). I also like that they are open in Sunday’s. This will be my new go-​to spot for dinners on Sunday!

We just finished dinner and were impressed from start to finish. We had two starters, the tart and avocado purée, both were excellent by any measure.
We had the sea bass and the duck breast for the mains and we both favored the sea bass though the duck had good flavor as well. Finished with the chestnut tiramisu and coffee that was very good as well.
No problem recommending the establishment but highly recommend reservations.

Delicious! My husband got the pork and I got the sea bass with veggies. Had the most delicious sides, sauces, and meats cooked perfect. Wine was Devine and of course you have to get dessert. They have English menus optional as well!

Before we head to Montparnasse tower, we wanted to eat dinner in the area, and we are glad we found this gem. It’s not on the main/​busy street, but it was one of the our best experiences in Paris.
I had the duck breast, and the pea mousse/​sauce that comes with it is deeeelicious. My friend had the steak and she usually can’t finish her meal but she nailed it! The desserts were also amazing (the lemon tart and the green apple crumble). Highly recommend!

We used Unilocal to help us find a highly rated French restaurant near our hotel and this place did not disappoint. We didn’t have a reservation but got a table because we showed up early like other reviewers recommended. The food was excellent and the staff was very helpful and friendly even to us with our limited French. Salmon and scallop tartar is amazing as is the roast duck. We strongly recommend a stop here!

We had a great Meal. Very busy for a sunday night but Its Paris. My wife had the foie gras as an appetizer and I had the celery soup. Both were very good. For entrée’s we had the farm raísed port and the veal. The pork was very good, the veal was underseasoned, had to add some salt and pepper and it brought out many nice flavors. For desert we ordered the venezuelan chocolate cake and the tiramisu. Both amazing.
All around a good Meal. Maybe priced to high for what it is.

A great surprise. We had walked past it on a night returning from dinner. We arrived the following evening shortly after 10pm.
There were a handful of tables still with diners. Knowing it was late we asked if they could accommodate 2 people for dinner (in bad french). They were able to without problem but did mention that they would prefer if we ordered all at once which was totally fine with us.
I opted for the roasted artichoke tart which was absolutely great. Flavors which seemed as though they should be simple were complex and refined. My wife chose the bay scallops and proclaimed them to be some of the best she’s had (this coming from a new englander who grew up on the beach)
The restaurant was able to accommodate nixing the crawfish from the mushroom risotto, and cooked a perfect steak for my wife.
Dessert was perfectly done. Chocolate cakesomerhingorrather and a fig tart. This tart was hands down the best dessert I had during our week in Paris.

I do not give out five stars easily but the meal we had was among the best I’ve had at any restaurant ever. I had a scallop appetizer which was simply superb — small scallops done perfectly with a wonderful salad — a great start.
My wife had the crab and shrimp risotto which she loved and I had the sea bass (loup de mer) on a bed of tomato-​zuchini. The sea bass was cooked perfectly — crispy skin with the filet perfectly moist — just right!
If you are in the area, you MUST stop here for lunch or dinner — we did for lunch and I think for dinner you may have to reserve. Also note that English is spoken here as well with an English menu if you need it. A little pricey but well worth it.

This place is such an amazing find. We had dinner here one evening during a trip to Paris. We did not have any reservations, but we came in early hoping we can get seated. I don’t speak much French, but the little I know managed to get us seated. I think it may have been the owner I spoke to and he was very welcoming. The service was excellent… and the food was phenomenal! I had a warm salad with scallops as an appetizer and the roasted duck for the main course. It was the BEST meal I had in Paris. The prices are very reasonable and worth every Euro. I like that the place is very quaint and not touristy at all. I will definitely go back there again when I get a chance.

I travelled to France with a group of friends this past October. One of my friends kept talking about this restaurant and I have to say, I was still pleasantly surprised. We spent our very last night in Paris here, and I am so glad that we did. This place is quaint and SO cute. The staff was so nice and were very patient with our attempts to speak French and even provided us a menu in English. The wine was delicious and very fairly priced. I ordered the scallop risotto, which was a fantastic farewell to France meal. I also highly recommend the hot chocolate soup. It was basically a bowl of hot fudge — delicious! If you are looking for a non-​touristy, fairly priced, and delicious restaurant in the heart of Paris — you HAVE to check out Le Parc aux Cerfs!

Fein, klein und sehr stilvoll. Die Preise sind gehoben (Vorspeise plus Hauptgericht gibt es ab 30 Euro), aber das Gebotene ist sein Geld wert. Das ist klassische Bistroküche neu und köstlich interpretiert! Der Service war freundlich, allerdings nicht sehr schnell.
Lohnt einen Besuch.

Absolutely delicious. We picked the prix fixe option, and the fromage assortiment for dessert. I got the scallop entrée, and the faux-​filet plat, and I was so impressed with every bite. The sauce for the steak was brilliant. We also ordered a half bottle of wine. When the bill came out, we were very happy, what a great deal. A hidden gem.

I love Paris and I love Le Parc aux Cerfs. One of my favorite restaurants in Paris.
This fabulous restaurant was recommended to us and I’m so happy we stopped in. The first time I came in was 14 years ago and each time I go to Paris I never miss a meal here. I didn’t want to share my secret place but I guess it’s not a secret anymore.
This tiny restaurant offers a pre-​fix menu so all courses are included at a very reasonable price which includes coffee and dessert.
Remember you’re in Europe and real estate is a premium so if this is your first time in Paris be prepared to have your neighbor’s sitting in very close proximity.
The white linen covered tables offers some elegance but don’t be fooled a large piece of drawing paper is draped over it along with some crayons for you to scribble while you sit.
Every time I’m in Paris I come here. The service is fabulous and the owner is always stopping by your table to check on you.
They really do serve some of the best wines. I actually called the next day and tried to order a case of the wine we had-that’s how good it was.
You won’t be disappointed.
The busboy Oscar is a Spaniard and he was so helpful. He actually suggested some great wines and menu items. Super helpful if you speak Spanish because he was helpful with all of my requests. Menus are available in English.
After dinner to continue my fun night in Paris I walk a few steps and cross the tiny cobblestone street to the Cubana Café for a mojito, then top off the night with some Port at Rosebud’s which is also walking distance.
Bookmark this if you’re going to Paris!

J’ai hésité avec une quatrième étoile, je suis peut être un peu sévère, disons 3 étoiles et demi !
J’y suis allé avec un grand enthousiasme, et j’en ressors avec une pointe de déception.
Mon entrée de pétoncles sur lit de poireaux et sauce au safran était très bonne, les pétoncles parfaitement cuites et la sauce a eu raison des morceaux de pain qui trainaient par là
Mon plat: un faux filet de Salers délicieux, avec un petit gratin de pomme de terre aux 5 baies, le tout passait très bien, mais ce qui m’a un peu gêné, c’est le manqué de verdure dans mon assiette: aucun légume ! (bon le gratin de pomme de terre, c’est pas non plus de la viande, mais quand même !)
En dessert, une soupe de chocolat avec sa boule vanille et ses noisettes. Très bon mais… ça reste du chocolat fondu avec une mini boule de glacé, rien de très travaillé.
Et justement, c’est là le soucis, pour 36 € pour E/​P/​D on s’attend à peu plus de finesse, de travail et de présentation.
Voilà, je pense qu’à 30 € le menu, j’aurai plus penché pour une quatrième étoile.
Service agréable cependant, rien à redire là dessus.

Une petite déception pour ce restaurant qui affiche fièrement des extraits de journaux valorisants en vitrine, dont un du Parisien clamant que «la cuisine vaut à elle seule le détour». Justement, non.
Manquant clairement de finesse, la cuisine du Parc aux Cerfs s’embourbe dans des sauces trop lourdes, trop présentes, trop épaisses. Si l’entrée (une poêlée de pétoncles sur un lit de fondue de poireaux, et une sauce safranée) était très satisfaisante, la déception s’est surtout fait sentir sur le plat, une souris d’agneau (ma viande préférée) bien cuite au coeur, mais assez grasse, pas braisée, alors que l’intitulée «souris d’agneau au miel et vinaigre» amèné plutôt à rêver d’une peau craquante et sucrée. Mais le plus ennuyeux aura été l’accompagnement, à savoir une platrée de haricots blancs en sauce type Heinz, avec quelques haricots verts et poids gourmands. Je né remets pas en doute l’authenticité de la préparation, mais le résultat était malheureusement aussi lourd que peu adapté à la viande qu’il accompagnait.
Après avoir décidé que mon dessert déterminerait ma note, je me retrouve face à une tarte Tatin manifestement réchauffée, à la pâte à la fois ramollie et figée par le micro-​ondes, et accompagnée d’un sorbet au fromage blanc (que j’adore, habituellement) dénué de goût.
Le hic se situe surtout au niveau du prix; 36 € pour un repas moyen (sans à-​côté) né permettent pas franchement de terminer sur une très belle note.
Rien à redire, en revanche, du service, efficace, rapide et souriant. Ce qui explique certainement ma réticence à né donner que deux étoiles…

Joli coup !
Courette intérieure très agréable, carte des vins alléchante quoiqu’un peu chère. Nuits Saint Georges dont je me souviendrai longtemps. Entrée: poêlée de palourdes, roquette, parmesan: cuisson au poil, iodée, légère comme la brise ! Plat: magret de canard au miel de lavande, légumes verts: tout pareil, cuisson pârfaite, réduction au miel parfumée; Dessert: crumble au fruits rouges, glacé au yaourt bulgare: sucré juste au minimum, exactement comme il faut. Mon délicieux face-​à-​face était également ravi avec la même entrée, une daurade rôtie-​risotto safrané (parfum bien puissant, crémeux à souhait) et cheesecake coulis framboise. Soirée très agréable, personnel charmant, super pro et détendu à la fois.

Bel endroit proche de Montparnasse
Client de ce restaurant depuis bientôt 7 ans je n’y ai été déçu qu’une fois… et mes retrouvailles d’hier m’ont rassuré ! Formule à 36 € entrée/​plat/​dessert toujours aussi impeccable (salade de pétoncles roquette et copeaux de parmesan, filet de dorade risotto au safran, cheese cake coulis de famboises en ce qui me concerne), service agréable et cadre superbe (réservez dans la cour intérieur si le temps le permet !!!). Bref j’adore ! Et les personnes que j’y emmèné aussi !

The food was very good. More flavor than you would expect from European food (in general), and the service was excellent. My father and I had a bottle of wine, the duck, the chicken, and dessert and all were wonderful.
They have English menus for those not so confident with their French, and they are so welcoming and polite to all despite the fact that this is not a tourist place at all.

I’m in love! I almost don’t want to add this restaurant because it is a hidden gem, but it’s not fair to keep it all to myself.
We were staying in Montparnasse and stumbled across this great little restaurant. It looks small from the outside but is actually much larger than it appears.
We didn’t have a reservation, but got a table before the place filled up. This is not a touristy place, which is exactly what we were looking for. The menu is in French, and while we could understand some things, we did need a bit of help. The owner was really great and sat down with us and explained the entire menu. We took his suggestions and were not disappointed.
The food was thoughtfully prepared and indescribably delicious– the sauces were amazing. The servers were super attentive.
Nothing to improve on. Perfect little low-​key restaurant with an intimate atmosphere and not too pricey (for Paris). I wish I were there right now!
If you’re in Paris and want to eat a nice lunch or dinner, make some time to visit this spot. It’s very close to the Luxembourg Garden so make a day of it!

Notre restaurant préféré du dimanche après la séance de ciné du matin à Montparnasse. Le restaurant nous accepte même un peu tard sans problème.
Le restaurant est discret et fait penser à un atelier d’artiste; il est assez grand avec 2 salles… et je vous conseille vivement la 2ème salle du fond car elle est très lumineuse grâce à de grandes fenêtres donnant sur la terrasse intérieure, ainsi qu’une mezzanine à l’étage. Les tables sont recouvertes de papier à dessin et chaque table a son petit pot de pastels: vous (ou vos enfants) pourrez donner libre cours à votre fibre artistique :)
Il y a différentes formules (plat+entrée ou dessert, plat+entrée+dessert) à des prix raisonnables. Le restaurant propose une cuisine française fine et inventive: vous pourrez piocher dans la carte ou prendre l’entrée/plat/dessert du jour (parfois avec un petit supplément).
Aujourd’hui, j’ai pris :
— en entrée: la terrine de queue de boeuf avec sa sauce aux cèpes
— en plat: poêlée de saint jacques, avec son risotto et copeaux de parmesan (plat du jour)… délicieux
— en dessert: cheesecake servi avec un coulis de fruits rouges… la part était un peu petite à mon goût mais au moins, on n’est pas plombé en sortant de table :)
N’hésitez pas à venir dans ce petit restaurant dans le quartier Montparnasse: nous y sommes venus plusieurs fois et n’avons jamais été déçus…

Oui on hésite, car c’est petit, cosy, bon, paisible, souriant, bref une adresse où l’on vient avec des proches dîner sans esbrouffe d’une cuisine parfaitement honnêtte dans une atmosphère de parfaite détente.

Voilà un resto discret qui mérite de passer la porte… pour revivre les grands moments de Montparnasse, quartier des arts. On se croirait dans un atelier d’artiste et sur la table, on a tout ce qu’il faut pour dessiner. même si on a pas de talent. moi, aucun sur ce point là et ma nappe né vaudra pas très chère chez Sotheby’s… mais d’autres, si. Ah, j’oubliais, on y mange très bien et avec une excellente carte des vins.

Une oasis dans le quartier montparnasse
Dans cette gamme de prix, peut être bien le meilleur du quartier: c’est bon, sans faute de goût et parfois original. La gérante est tout à fait charmante, comme l’est son pays d’origine la pologne, pays mal connu entre tous. En revanche, il manqué un peu de chaleur dans ce restaurant, ce qui est certainement du à son aspect longitudinal et à cette enfilade de plusieurs toutes petites salles.

Bön rapport qualité prix
Tout d’abord j’étais surpris de trouver comme centre de table un pot de crayon de couleur, original non? En fait la nappe est prévu pour que vous puissiez montrer aux autres convives de la table vos talents artistiques, il fallait y penser ! Côté carte rien à dire, des formules, un choix de plats suffisant. Dans l’assiette c’est très très correct les pétoncles aux poireaux et le bar pour 30 €, bonne note pour le café. Seul bémol service un peu débordé !

Onéreux? Pas tant que cela
Formule entrée plat dessert à 35 euros. La soupe de concombre à la menthe, c’était déguster un cocktail avec une paille, doucement, doucement pour en profiter longtemps. Le magret de canard au gin, quelle bêtise de l’avoir demandé à point, mais la petite sauce légèrement sucrée et les pignons de pin grillés qui l’accompagnaient, waow. Quant au dessert, je né saurais trop conseiller le mi-​cuit chocolat et la glacé au caramel au beurre salé plutôt que le sorbet basilic moins heureux, combinaison générale réussie, de surprise et de création. Le vin (madiran et cahors à 25 euros) était parfait. Très bon accueil, professionnel et chaleureux, salle très américanisée. Une addition à 50 euros par personne qui né choque vraiment pas. Perso j’adore.

Un petit restaurant à Montparnasse
Le décor est ce qu’il est, on aime ou on n’aime pas. Le personnel est agréable et donne quelques conseils sympathiques. La cuisine est bonne. L’ensemble se tient plutôt bien au vu de la note finale. Pas si mal pour un petit restaurant au coeur du quartier Montparnasse. A essayer.

Ce petit restaurant propose une cuisine moderne et recherchée. Les portions sont un peu justes. L’accueil est jeune et sympathique. Prix un peu élevé dans l’absolu mais compensés par la qualité de la cuisine.

Pas de quoi bramer !
C’est pratique (dans un quartier où les restos français né sont pas pléthores et ouvrent le dimanche), mais assez banal: rien qui né laisse des souvenirs impérissables, du service à l’assiette en passant par le décors… (le côté positif, c’est que cela signifie aussi que rien de désagréable né retient l’attention non plus !).
