Great view of the Eiffel Tower but other than that nothing special. The price was right for one night but pipes were noisy, elevator was broken, stains on the ceiling and the carpets were dirty. The front desk person was nice enough to store our luggage for the day while we explored the day we checked out. Close to a market, cafés, Eiffel Tower area and the metro.

I LOVE this hotel. The staff(manager/owner specifically) was so welcoming. We arrived and everyone was friendly, gave a list of things to do, directions, you name it. Beyond being a clean, comfortable hotel with a view, the location is on point. It is a short walk to the Eiffel Tower(great for runners after a nice croissant) and right by the metro! I absolutely will stay there my next time in Paris and recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy the most amazing city I’ve ever been.

Love this sweet little hotel in the 7me arrondise! It will always have a special place in my heart. My boyfriend proposed on Christmas Eve in Philly and then whisked me off to Paris to stay a week at Eber Mars to celebrate our engagement and this was our little love nest and home base while we wandered the city of lights for the holidays. Upon arrival, we were a little early for check-in so they stored our bags while we walked the neighborhood. It’s very close to Champs de Mars, École Militaire, Eiffel Tower, tons of shopping and restaurants. One of our favorite streets nearby was Rue de Cler with countless cute boulangeries, cafés and wine shops(string lights everywhere for the new year.) Our room soixante-deux(62) was the best in the house: top floor with two windows both with views of the Eiffel Tower– one in the bedroom and one in the bathroom. We may have paid a little extra for this. It is traditionally European though so be prepared that the space is TIGHT from American standards and being on the top floor means lots of stairs or the tiniest one-person elevator you’ve ever seen(I refused to take it at first because I thought I would suffocate but after our first few cocktails, i opted to take it instead of the stairs and my 6’5″ fiancé did too — one at a time of course) — but again all of this is normal for historic European hotels with charm :-) Our room was very clean and the wardrobe stored all of our stuff nicely. HUGEPRO: it’s right around the corner from the École Militaire métro stop on the 8 line so it is super easy to hop on and get all around the city, most of the staff is very friendly and helpful especially our favorite staffer Omar who went above and beyond to accommodate us. Cons: the first couple of days we couldn’t connect to the wifi network so we had to hit nearby cafes to plan our restaurant/bar/sightseeing game plan but for our last 4 – 5 days we were able to connect and the wifi was fast. Also, the pétit déj(breakfast) served in the lobby was a little over priced — it was traditional French«sweet» breakfast(coffee, OJ, croissants, baguette with cheese, yogurt and jam) which was plenty for us but we were under the impression that it was complimentary but upon checkout learned that it was about 15 € per person each day which was actually pricier than the more substantial breakfast we had around the corner with omelettes, bread, coffee, juice, etc. so we would recommend venturing out of the hotel for meals. We loved our stay at Eber Mars and would definitely recommend it for anyone looking to stay in a hotel for a week or less. In our future trips to Paris we will likely stay in Airbnb rentals so that we can have a kitchen and do some grocery shopping at the fresh beautiful marchés of Paris and save some money on meal expenditures(Eber Mars does not allow food or beverages in the rooms, only in the lobby)

For my first time in Paris, I was given a special treat– to stay in this wonderful hotel a block down from the Eiffel Tower! This hotel is very clean and tidy, the staff were very friendly and helpful(despite me not knowing much French). My girl friend and I really enjoyed the hospitality that the hotel staff brought to each person, I was very pleased with everything. The food in the morning was great! Our rooms were cleaned each day– it looked like the sheets from the previous night were stripped and replaced, which is such a huge important thing for me in the cleanliness of a room. For the price and the location; I don’t think we could have gotten a better place to stay! I will be coming back to stay with the Eber Mars again for sure!

The Hotel Eber Mars is a charming little French hotel located in the 7th Arrondissement of Paris near the Eiffel Tower. It is operated by the owner, Monsieur Eber, who is as charming as his hotel. My cousin and I, two American ladies, had a lovely room on the fifth floor with a view of the Eiffel Tower from our balcony. We had two French doors that opened onto the balcony from our room and from our modern bathroom. The room featured a double bed, flat screen TV, and air conditioning. Access to the room is either by small lift, which accommodates one person without baggage, or by spiral staircase. There are about 24 rooms. The lobby area is pretty and modern and includes a sitting area, dining area for continental breakfast or for dining when bringing in food from the outside. There is also a computer with internet access 24 hours a day. We found the wifi the hotel offered to be sketchy in our room but always available in the lobby using our smartphones or tablets. We also found wifi to be sketchy all over Paris. The best feature of this hotel is the location and the owner. It is situated near a corner of Avenue de la Bourdonnais and Avenue de la Motte Piquet with bus stops, metro access, ATMs and many restaurants and cafes. The wonderful shopping street, Rue Cler, is a short stroll from the hotel, and it was our favorite area. Monsieur Eber is a charming as his hotel. He speaks beautiful English and is a wealth of information about Paris’ restaurants, transportation, sightseeing, events and history. All you have to do is ask him. We felt safe and comfortable in Hotel Eber Mars and hope to return in the future.

This hotel more than met my expectations when the bf and I arrived. Friendly, clean, chic with a tiny spiral staircase, we stayed in double room on the second floor. I’m sure that the rooms with views were super nice but this room was perfect for our needs and budget. We didn’t spend much time at the hotel but it had everything we needed. We picked this hotel from the bf’s favorite guidebook writer, Rick Steves, and we were so glad we did! It’s near Parc du Champ de Mars in the Rue Cler area. Our guidebook was fairly detailed about the area and it was nice to wander around to get that glimpse of Parisian life. If we had any questions, we could always ask the front desk and they would give suggestions. When the bf got sick, we could order room service for some tea and coffee and any other snacks that is available for a very reasonable fee. The hotel is between two grocery stores(one on the same street but closes a bit early and the other is front of the stairs for the metro. You do have to pay for the interwebs and the beds were twins pushed together. The hotel also held our luggage when we checked in super early or checked out. We could be confident in leaving our things there and continued to explore Paris without needing to bring it with us before heading to the train station at 6pm.
