Conveniently located across from the Louvre by the intersection of Rue de Rivoli on the opposite side of McDonald’s, this Starbucks has plenty of seating on the second floor. There’s also a restroom and free wifi. The wifi seems to be spotty at times so I had to keep trying to reconnect. There are some unique items, not found in the States, such as the framboise cassis tea frappucino and mangue passion frappucino. Both are quite good.

Good place to catch your breath or stop by for a pick me up. Not much seating available, but at least there’s free wifi. Okay, there are other cafes and places to get coffee or tea at the Louvre, but it’s convenient. Once you get your bearings, head back to explore the museum. Hey, you’re at the Louvre!

Two levels of Starbucks that allow sufficient space to take a load off your feet while enjoying a coffee(and a break from shopping) on this end of St. Honore’.

The one thing I missed in Paris is big ass American sized coffee and finally found this Starbucks to save my life. This starbucks has a ton of tables, free wi-fi, no parking, and good layout. Metro 1 or 7 line to the Palais Royal — Musée du Louvre station is the closest.

Searching searching for coffee, and I mean COFFEE, I stumbled upon this Starbucks one Sunday morning, along with a few other American zombies patrolling the Première Arrondisement for the brew. It isn’t that I don’t love French coffee, I do! It’s just that I can’t get enough of it. I have to get up each morning at 5am, and not being an early bird by nature, I must trick nature by imbibing that caffeinated brew that allows me to function. This Starbucks is conveniently situated across from the Rue de Rivoli entrance to the Louvre near a corner. It is usually packed, but the baristas are friendly and patient. Tour busses pull up and spill their passengers out into the maws of this Starbucks, and everyone is happy with the prices and the big American jolts of coffee. This Starbucks most closely approximated the flavor of my usual Mocha Frappé, but some ice was still chunky as they were accommodating a bus full of tourists from Czechoslovakia. Prices are about the same as in the US, but in Euros, rather than dollars, so mind your exchange rate. There is a bathroom on the second story, and plenty of seating inside and out. A helpful find for the first timer to Paris, or if you are on a tight schedule!

As much as I am down on Starbucks as cultural pollution, sometimes it is very helpful to find one when you’re traveling so that you can access their free wi-fi. This location is right around the corner from the Louvre and the Tuileries Garden, across the Seine from the Musée d’Orsay. On two levels with lots of seating on both and some tables outside for the smokers. Sadly, their wifi is NOT free. While I could connect to the network, I could not get through the paywall due to my lack of French and their lack of clarity. I was also challenged by a lack of available power outlets. It was a good latte, but I won’t be back.
