The berry smoothie was awesome, the tea my husband had was fantastic. The staff were friendly. We had the nachos, I wasn’t sure if my husband would like them, but surprisingly he loved them. Very different and unique, either you love them or hate them. The salad was fantastic and very filling for a ½ size. I couldn’t finish it all. My husband had concerns with no meat on the menu, but he was open minded and gave it a try and he was not disappointed. They pay close attention to all details of food, décor, & service. He got the mushroom ravioli and it was great. Definitely a favourite restaurant now.

I have been a vegetarian for 25 years and found out I had a wheat allergy 3 years ago so finding a restaurant is often a challenge. Nourish is the most unique, delicious vegetarian restaurant I have been to. My husband is neither wheat-free nor vegetarian and also loved it. We had the nachos, classic poutine, and shepherds pie and the raw chocolate brownie with ice cream for dessert. All were amazing. The carmenière wine was really nice too. The servers and restaurant owner couldn’t have been more accommodating. Honestly, it was a wonderful delicious experience all around and we have been to many restaurants in Banff over 4 years of coming here every winter. Go here!

So unbelievably good. Seriously the best vegetarian/vegan I’ve ever had. Mac and squeeze is really good(add cayenne pepper) and is their poutine. It’s actually all good. We ate there 3 times when we were in Banff.

We have visited Nourish twice already during out short stay in Banff. Josh, the bartender he first night we arrived, kindly directed us to some local nightlife hotspots and made me a wicked Kombucha and gin cocktail(off menu) per my request. It’s nice to eat at a healthy spot… gorging yourself doesn’t feel nearly so terrible. We recommend the Poutine and Mac and Squeeze!

This restaurant is typically our go-to place in Banff for my wife and myself. The food is great, although the portions are on the larger side so we usually end up with plenty of leftovers. Some dishes here are better than others, for example: the vegetarian nachos were slightly underwhelming and very remotely reminded us of actual nachos, whereas the ravioli were superb. My wife seems to enjoy the mac and cheese a lot. The major con of this place is the ambiance, the restaurant is small however they keep loud music — it feels as a dining experience in a nightclub. Also, in certain corners of the restaurant, the tables are really crammed together. There is a particular bar arranged in a semi-circle by the window which is just next to another small table for two by the window. We had the misfortune of sitting on this table one night, and quickly after there were people coming to the semi-circled bar which caused us to be staring at the backs of two of the patrons sitting there the whole night. Moreover, it felt like they were sitting at our table — we could totally listen their whole conversation and they could listen ours(despite of the loud music, but that’s how close they were to us). Minus one star for that. The menu is on the pricier side, our bill usually comes to about $ 50 – 60 for two people. A big drawback is that they do not take credit cards, only cash or debit. For such prices, we would at least wish you could charge it to your credit card. But that doesn’t happen. So minus another star for that. Overall, worth the try. A good place to visit in Banff for a vegetarian fix, but in overall standards compared to other vegetarian places elsewhere, this place is not outstanding.

Make sure you state you want vegan if you’re vegan! This place is super vegetarian/vegan friendly. Waiter was nice. The password for the washroom is 456 if I’m not mistaken. I ordered the superfood salad half size. It was delicious!

Super great! Large portions, I ordered half soup and half main and that was more than enough. Really tasty. Minus is that they only use debet and cash — not got for tourists.

I love vegetarian/vegan food but what I had here was a completely butchered falafel. I like that it was baked, but I was far dryer then it should have been had to been making it impossible eat even with a knife and fork. These not in patty form even. WAYOVER salted and seemingly no spices. It was nothing more then a chickpea wrap. and not a good one. I have always told people not into vegetarian food to go for a falafel anywhere you go because its impossible to screw up but this place proved me wrong.

This is a small trendy little restaurant. Mostly geared towards your 20 and 30 somethings, judging by the interior design and music. The prices are expensive and the food is moderately tasty. They say they dont take visa but they did end up taking ours. They are shameless enough to automatically include 18% to your bill for tip. This place will only bring out one order at a time. I don’t know why. They said it is to encourage sharing. I don’t get with the difference is. It’s not like once you are full with the first dish that you share, you can cancel your next order. Its a little pretentious. We ordered the ravioli full order, which means a bigger serving for two to four people that you pay for, and it was like having an order for one person, which was upsetting. We also had the King Kong noodles and I didn’t find it very tasty at all. It was super liquidy making it a little bit sloppy to eat. However it did feel good to have a vegan meal.

I like the atmosphere and the concept. Dishes are meant to be shared by 2 people The food was good. We ordered the macaroni and cheese and the mushroom raveoli. Both were savery and flavorful. Both dishes seemed like similiar sauce base. The raveoli was delicious, they had like 6 types of mushrooms in the raveoli. I could have used a few more peices of raveoli but I was pretty impressed. They serve Kamboucha on tap, interesting floats and sodas. Food presentation was good and the prices for the mains seemed pretty reasonable. I was a bit disappointed with the dessert. It was a cashew based vegan lime cheesecake. Sounds great right. Problem was that it was 12 dollars and it was a half of a usual cheesecake slice. I felt it was overpriced. No visa. That being said, everything else was great.

Terrible value. Even for banff. Food was just okay. My wife and I had their«famed» nachos and a entrée salad for lunch one rainy day. $ 50 including tips and no drinks. Spend the money on bison next door instead unless you are a vegetarian party.

From the stoned, disinterested waiter, to the stale wine to the: over-priced, missing ingredients, not dressed salad. it was a profound disappointment. You can be a hipster, you can be too cool for school, you can be the only game in town but you better not be so incompetent that people never want to come back.

The food was fine but the prices were exorbitant considering the kind of ambience they maintained. The portions for the fresh squeezed juice was ridiculously small for the 8 $ price tag it carried. The pizza was pretty good and I would say that it was relatively fair in terms of the size of the portion. We also had the burrito which I would say was average in terms of the taste. I wouldn’t discourage anyone from checking this place out, especially if you are a vegetarian, since you will finally have an entire menu to choose from! Bön Apetit!

For a small town in the Canadian Rockies, Banff certainly has a diverse cuisine to offer. At nourish, those vegans who are used to the standard burger fare in ski towns are treated to a nearly full menu without cheese and meat. We started off with the Num Num Nachos — 27 ingredients! Living in NYC, I’m spoiled with Italian food, but the Gnocci here was legitimately excellent. Large bowl, shallots, garlic and an great white wine marinara. The vibe at Nourish was also unique — sort of a mix of hippie, ski town and pop.

The food is delicious! We attempted to go for dinner, but the line up was too long. The following day we went for lunch. We had nachos(different, but in a wonderful way. Yumm!) Burritos(was hard to eat with a fork, but tasted great) Panini and leek soup(was not a panini, more like a sandwich, was not the best. The soup was nice, lots of flavour) Goat cheese and spinach quesadilla(I wasn’t a fan– too strong– I don’t like a taste of goat cheese, but then again I didn’t order it. My husband said he enjoyed it.) I would have given this a 5 because I loved that this veggie place had so much flavour as compared to other veggie restaurants which have dishes that lack flavour and taste like cardboard. The only reason I gave it a four was because they weren’t baby friendly. When I asked if they had a highchair. The waitress had to find out.(Wouldn’t you know if you had one?) Anyways, as it turned out the manager explained that both his highchairs were stolen:| how does that even happen. Conclusion: not baby friendly, but great food!!!

Such good reviews — I was dying to try it… So we stopped so I could get a snack or try to. I ordered coconut curry rice with Thai peanut sauce — both of which the bartender argued were«not on the menu» so I had to show him… and the waitress… I agree with Dave and his review of the staff although my food was not good. Maybe they changed menus but didn’t update anything — either way the rice that arrived was NOT coconut at all and had BIG(like the size of meatballs) balls of spice powder… Gross. I tasted it — UNDERCOOKEDTOTHEEXTREME! I even asked if it was the right rice — he said yes so I took it anyways — I tried to eat around the spice grenades and with the peanut sauce(which was tasty) I was and to choke some down… So all in all a terrible first impression — horrible service and not good food… I left MALNOURISHED.

OK, before you go here you have to ask yourself a few questions: 1. Am I a millennial? 2. Do I know the difference between vinyasa and an ashram? 3. Am I sufficiently overfed in the rest of my overly rich life, such that I don’t mind paying exorbitant prices for a diet sized portion… Answered yes to all of the above? Then nourish is the spot for you! For $ 68 with tip, we got 2 drinks and two«half»(single) meals. Afterwards we proceed elsewhere to eat calories I could afford. I got the ravioli which was underdone and tasted about par with grocery store pastas. Kudos to the chef, the cream sauce was delicious though. The bartender brought me the wrong drink, but it was OK, so why waste food? Lucky for me my date’s meal was too big for her(gnocchi) and I ravenously chowed that whilst contemplating getting more calories at subway… I won’t ever go to nourish again, and depending on the depth of your pockets, your willingness to eat gluten, and your need for a diet, neither should you either.

We dined here over a year ago at the old location. The food was so good that we have to come back again. I am not vegetarian, but I would be if I could eat food this good everyday. Packed with great flavour, rich taste palette and most importantly, the mix of ingredients are so creative. The dish I like the most was the portobello mushroom, sooooo good! The burrito was pretty awesome as well. The only reason I can’t give 5 stars is they don’t serve the mushroom at lunch. :( This place is definitely a good place to have a light lunch.
