I like the food for all you eat but i mean thats really not saying much when there are only two options for all you can eat sushi in kingston. its okay. Fuji was the Best. I will not be returning, the service here was HORRIBLE, My friends and i decided to go for lunch the other day and there was about 3 waitresses and it wasn’t even that busy and they would just stand around we waited about 30 minutes for them to even get our order then another 40 minutes for the first couple items to come out, which wasn’t even our full order. Then when we were waiting for the rest of our order after eating the first part of our order we waiting another 25 minutes for that to come. We ordered again and it felt like they just completely avoided avoided our table as if they didn’t want us to make a second order. We were there for over 3 hours… I will NOT Be returning.

It is no secret that Kingston isn’t the best place for all you can eat sushi, there is a serious lack of choice. I think Aji knows this and capitalizes on the fact that they’re one of the only bearable all you can eat places in town. The actual food itself is usually quite good, but the service is shoddy at best. It’s common that they forget parts of your order and seem very hesitant to place new orders for you. Some servers are pleasant but some are blatantly rude. My most recent trip for a group lunch was quite comical actually. The restraint had supposedly ran out of order sheets, so we had to rhyme off what we wanted and the quantity to the waitress. Waitresses seemed annoyed by having to take orders. For all you can eat sushi, it was annoying to have to put up with not being able to order what you wanted, when you wanted. I don’t hate this place, but I think they could easily turn it into a 5-star joint, because the food itself certainly isn’t lacking.

Horrible service, the servers were unhelpful and cold. We ordered the all you can eat menu which we felt was quite overpriced for the quality of food($ 22 after tax and tip. Not insane but still steep for students). We were also quite frustrated when it took 40 minutes for our food to arrive even though it wasn’t super busy, and found that we were missing maybe half of what we had ordered. We figured they would bring the rest of our food but we ended up giving up on waiting for it after asking for the rest twice.

Let me start this off by saying the patio atmosphere was amazing. Our initial server was great, attentative. She would go by and fill our water consistantly and the food came and was on par to bettet then other restaurants ive been to of this style, Then our server switched to who i’m only assuming is atleast part owner(as that’s the only way id see her keeping this job). She came buy and asked if we wanted more food and i sai«yes i definetly will» that’s when she walked away and went to another table, i figured ok she wants to make sure that table is ok(im fine with that), she then walks past us again goes into the restaurant comes bavk to that same table leaves and goes to walk by us again, at this point my cousin prompts her on the way by asking«can we get some more food?» This is when we got this attitude of we were no longer paying customers but annoyances and that just made me livid didnt even wait for my food to come, saw our first server walking by asked for the bill and left Wouldn’t go back if it was free

I was surprised to see such negative reviews here — Don and I had a fantastic dinner at Aji Sai, which seems to be one of the only AYCE sushi restaurants in downtown Kingston. Pros: — Arriving early seems to be key — we got a nice spot outside and received prompt, attentive service from the staff. — Lots of unique rolls on the menu; my favorite was the mango and cream cheese roll. If you’ve no room left for dessert, it’s a nice way to end a meal. — Rolls were a good size and of good quality for AYCE. We’ve visited places that use a lot of rice in their rolls, which has the unfortunate effect of reducing the amount of pigging out one can do. We certainly got our money’s worth here. — I don’t think we were dissatisfied with anything we ordered, and we received everything we asked for. I think it helps that servers actually write your order down. Cons: — None. We hope to have another positive experience when we return!

As a sushi place, Aji Sai has the typical all u can eat menu and price(except for the weekend. More expensive than other places). I’d say my experience here is really hit and miss… Sometimes the quality of the food is pretty good, other times, not so much. The servers are generally nice but not very talkative. The boss(the lady) has a pretty cold attitude, besides being fast at doing her job and taking the bill, she rarely talks, not even mention to smile at her customers. Btw, they need to wash their dishes a little more carefully, the glasses we were using seemed to have grease on it… I’d say if not for the location I would rather go to Sakura or Fuji sushi.

Horrible service they forgot some of the food we ordered. They didnt refill out drinks and the ppl beside us got there food before us and they showed up about 20 mins after us. The food itself was alright but expensive for the quantity and the quality. Very small portions. After finishing i had to physically get up and find a server for the bill. I dont recommend this place and i will not be returning!

Good value for all you can eat lunch. Has the normal pitfalls of this type of place but the food was better then other local all you can eat sushi options

Food is okay, the service we got was terrible. We showed up at 11am(when they open), and they did not unlock the doors/let customers in until about 11:15~11:20am. It was about 14 degrees out, so it wasn’t the best weather to sit or stand around, outside. They sometimes gave us more food than we ordered, or sometimes gave us the wrong order all together so I needed to point it out at times so they could take it back. THISISTHEREASONAJISAIGOT1STAR: So after about an hour and 15 minutes since we had sat down, working on our last few trays and talking… the waitress told us that our table is reserved(for the next people to sit down) and that we needed to leave. She also told us we would be charged for the leftover food. We were appalled. When I said we’ll take our time eating the remaining food, she said, how long are you going to take? How many minutes? So in the end, the other waiter, who had been fine with the minimal food that we had left, took our trays away except our personal trays. The waitress came back, with our bills, as I was chewing, she stood there waiting for us to pay, with the debit/credit card machine. And she stood by our table until we took out our cash/card to pay. And we were out of there. Worst service ever.

So good! Great staff and great food and great price. Service can be slower at times due to so many people wanting to eat there, but who could blame them. Even then still decent service

I think service is more attentive during dinner than lunch. The servers were very quick when I went. Could use some more veggie options, but the sushi is decent; presentation better than most places. Nothing mind blowing but the price is right.

Awesome food. Very tasty. The food was prepared fast and was delivered to our table within 5 – 10 minutes of ordering. Service was also good.
