Easily my favorite fast food. Healthy and delicious for a good price. Most of their stuff is all made fresh in house everyday!

Great burritos that are not only tasty but the size of bricks! I often cut them in half to make into two meals. I recommend the two pork options. The lines are generally fast and the price is reasonable.

So quick and so tasty tasty! These guys will whip you up a Mexican munchie and enjoy shooting the sh! t with you in the process. $ 10 or less will fill your stomach and craving. Love this place over Chipoople.

My first time there tonight, after talking about tacos all day on Facebook. I got both a steak and a chicken soft shell taco, and they were great. Ingredients were very tasty and seemed fresh(a little bland, but I spiced it up at the table and added some salt after I requested it). I really enjoyed the carne(steak), less so the chicken but it was passable. Staff was friendly and helpful, service was quick. My only complaint is with cleanliness. Folks, this is hand food. Every surface gets sticky and dirty. Your tables, napkin holders and sauce bottles should be wiped down a couple of times a day. Thanks!

Fast and tasty! I had 1 pork and 1 fish taco and was impressed by both. Ingredients were fresh and portions were very generous. No extra charge for the guacamole.

Great food, not so friendly dude. … I guess the best way to describe the one guy would be «cold» Anyways, they take your order, get it right and it tastes great!

Got a groupon for the $ 60 catering for 10, and they were awesome. It was ready for when I ordered it all in a box which made it so much easier for me to take back to the office on bus. The staff member was awesome and threw in an extra of hot sauce and some sour cream. It definitely fed more than 10 people and we still have some left overs. I am definitely a fan of this place. The food was fresh and chicken well flavoured. I will definitely be back.

I ordered a groupon for catering and this place did not disappoint! Quick friendly service, and leftovers for our group for days. We had the pork, steak and chicken which were all so tasty. The salsa was pretty good, but I was disappointed our package didn’t include any beans. The cilantro and lettuce were very fresh. Definitely will return to dine in another time.

You must not be hungry if you don’t order a burrito. Just ordered a $ 10 fish and rice bowl and got maybe 2 Tbs of rice and even less beans. They smothered it in Baja sauce, which ended up drowning out any flavor the very small meal underneath might have had. Will not be returning.

Worst service ever !! Three blind men that did not know there product and the fish was so over cooked it was sad ! The chicken taco was good but ya sorry for the price and service alone forget it !! I was there last Monday and what a bummer as I heard it was a great place :(

I ordered a regular taco and was surprised it wasn’t cooked. It wasn’t a good taco. It was just sour cream, vegetables slopped onto a small pita bread.

I’m a regular here, for a few reasons: its affordable, the staff are great, and the food is amazing. You can classify this place as Mexican fast food, but the quality is anything but that of fast food. I usually get the tacos, and they are massive, loaded with guacamole(which doesn’t cost you extra if you get tacos). For about $ 15 you can get 3 tacos and a drink. The good is always fresh and the taco is assembled right in front of you so you can make it how you wish. The staff here are always friendly and do their job well. I have been to every other location in Vancouver, and this one is by far the best one.

Go to the one on Broadway instead. Service here is very very slow! I had only a few people ahead of me and it still took twenty minutes. Food is okay but I guess they still need to iron out things as they are the newer location.

Yes stopped by for a quick lunch, had one steak and one chicken taco. The guy behind the counter did a decent job putting my tacos together. He got it that did not want dairy products on my taco, I went there during off time yesterday and the dining area was clean. Overall I say the food is A-OK but a little pricey for what it is here

always busy here, great location, right at Burrard st. Amazing how with the limited staff how they can serve the long lineups during lunch. usually I get the nachos with extra cheese & guacamole/meat, for an extra $ 1.49. good vibe here, it’s the kitsy crowd all right. a few hi def tv for sports, and cool bar seating. probably the smallest location.

I’ve always heard about this restaurant but I never had the chance to go. Fortunately I bought a Groupon and that finally gave me enough incentive to go. I went on a weekday night because of what fellow Unilocalers said about busy times on the weekends. Luckily, it was pretty empty. I decided on the Baja beer-battered fish taco and Carnita taco. The fish was fried to order so it was hot and crispy and the batter had a pleasant taste but the fish was quote small. The ingredients added were pretty fresh and they had a good variety of choices. The only downside to my order was once the taco soft shell cooled down, it became hard and flakey. My boyfriend had the baja fish burrito. Everything was good but the rice that was added was like hard, tasteless hamster pellets. The rice was so difficult to eat, I had a bite and the rice got stuck between my teeth! I would’ve complained but my boyfriend braved through it. Staff were really nice and patient. Plus they kept the place tidy. All in all, I think if you’re in the area and you’re looking for a fair mexican fix, this place will fill your stomach… but probably not that authentic mexican yearning. For that, I can only think of crossing the border to Chipotle.

Went with my Groupon in hand. Apparently most of Vancouver bought the same Groupon. It was packed in there! The staff are chill(despite being super busy) and the food was as expected — decent but nothing to rave about. I can’t say the décor or cleanliness were anything to write home about.

So I finally made it to Chronic Tacos! I have a friend who frequents the Broadway location and has been telling me I need to check it out. I ended up going to the new location on West 4th for my inaugural visit and let me tell you, I was not disappointed! When I walked in, I looked around and noticed that there were a few tables occupied and that there were only a couple of people at the counter. I heard the Broadway location gets super busy, so I was happy to see a minimal line up here. I took a few minutes to decide, but finally settled on the carnitas(pulled pork) burrito. They start with a humungous flour tortilla and they put it in a tortilla press to heat it up. You get a choice of meat, rice and beans and then you move on towards the«topping» section. I added Spanish rice and black beans to my pulled pork and then went with the works. Guacamole(extra $ — but worth it!) cheese, salsa, hot sauce, cilantro, lime and lots of LOVE went into my burrito. It was so big that I thought there’s no way they can wrap the tortilla around all those toppings — yet somehow, they made it work. I stayed there to eat my burrito, as there was no way I could walk around with this monster in my hands and not lose half of it down the front of my shirt. Luckily, I managed to finish it with my clothes free of spillage and only half a dozen napkins lost their lives in the process. I was impressed by the attitudes of the employees here — they were all very friendly and helpful in explaining the different options available. They seemed really happy to be there and enjoying what they do. Attitude makes such a difference to me as a customer. I will definitely go back to Chronic Tacos to try the Baja Fish I’ve heard so much about.
