I’ve been here a few times now and the owner is a very nice lady… there aren’t many places around serving authentic Mexican food. Whenever I’m in the kits area, this is the place I go to for good food. It’s not on the menu, but she also serves an amazing Columbian Cheese or Meat Empanada.

I hate to give this dump 1 star. The miserable woman refused my entertainment book coupon. Saying it wasn’t any good. Such B.S. Let this place die, its dirty unsanitary and the staff are slow and smelly

I ate here a couple of times. I really like the beef nacho dish. I ordered it when I went there with a couple of friends and they all agreed I had the best tasting dish from all of use. They had burritos or tacos. Not sure :) I came there again and had the same thing. I liked it :) Nice little place looks like it’s run by the owner. Had to wait some time until my food was ready, but when it’s a 1 woman show. I completely understand it. Good job!

COUPONNOTHONOURED&TERRIBLESERVICE!!! Used to love eating here. Haven’t been here in a while. Got an entertainment book recently and saw the coupon so thought I’d bring my boyfriend here to try it out. First of all, the coupon is not honoured. They say that it’s a «misprint.» And then, the food took 45 minutes to come out! For tacos! And there were only a few other customers here. On top of that, the older blonder lady was SO incredibly rude. And they totally skimped on the tortilla chips and taters. If the staff and/or management doesn’t change, this place is going under. I’m NEVER coming back here. No bueno!

We had to wait 40 minutes for COLD enchiladas. The restaurant was completely empty, even though next door had line up to get in. When I asked why they are cold when they came out of oven, I was not offered solution or compensation in form of dessert or anything else. I will never go to this restaurant again. Las Margaritas on 4th Ave. is so far the best Mexican restaurant.

This is my favourite taco place in Kits. Prices are more than reasonable, and there’s an array of hot sauces. Some people might get their shit in a twist because this place doesn’t have table service, nonetheless it’s so good. The chicken burrito bowl is my fave.

Not bad food, but nothing I would be excited to go back for. Service was also meh, was the only person in the restaurant and watched as the person helping me wandered around and did other cleaning and miscellaneous items before making my food.

Food is fresh and tasty. All home made. You may feel like you are in a cantina in Mexico.

Fish burrito has no authentic Mexican flavours, I kid you not with the mystery mayo/ranch-like sauce it tasted exactly like a giant fillet ‘o fish in a flour tortilla.

I’m not a huge fan of Mexican food, so when I had a craving for a burrito last week, I was quite surprised. I popped in since it’s down the street, and ordered a burrito and jalapeño poppers. When I got home to eat, I was pretty stoked on the size of the meal compared to how much I spent. The food was good! Not mind blowing, but for someone who usually shies away from Mexican food, I was quite impressed. The jalapeño poppers could use some work, but other than that, I was pretty stoked! I will be returning here, and next time I won’t wait for my annual craving.

Ok, i love spicy mexican foods and the more authentic the meal the more i return to support the establishment. BB is REAL like mom made. Ok sometimes it takes a few minutes to prepare, i know it is not pre-made but made /prepared for me with care and consistently with care. I enjoy a meal that costs less than 15 $ and fills me with nutritious yummy spicy goodness. I even take my veg head friends there,[ always complaining about chemicals in the food], and they love it! I really appreciate the spicy condiments available for table use– habanero sauce, louisiana hot sauce, green chili suace, etc. makes the seasoning spice levels easy to adjust to my taste. Yes the patio is great for my Dog Rafiki to hang out on– BRAVO i wish more eateries allowed this non intrusive and totally mellow arrangement for pet owners. I tried other places like pizza patios on broadway or on cornwall if they allow my 4 legged well– behaved best friend in on cold rainy days, no one around, but was turned away. The welcome chips and salsa is a nice touch, the location is convenient, the only thing that might be inproved is the washroom cleanliness and size. Nothing major, keep up the delicious eats.

I have been there approx 3 times over several years. The each time I remember why it has been so long since my last visit. Nothing ever tastes fresh and the margarita served on Cinco de Mayo was pretty bad. Once good thing is that you can bring any canine companions onto the little patio with you.

My second time here. First time was about 4 years ago. Its a couple blocks up from Kits beach. if you’re looking for a great little Mexi-burrito treat this is the place. I had 2 fish tacos and yes I wish is was a little cheaper but it was tasty. My girlfriend ordered a burrito bomber, her order was wrong)= she asked for no meat no cheese, and she got beef burrito but they did leave out the cheese. We came by on a Friday afternoon, it wasn’t the busiest only one lady was workin, waited about 10 minutes for our food. Small eating area inside and a small patio outside. Overall is was good, I would come back again maybe on a Thursday when they have local specials.

On Thursdays they have a great«Locals» special with cheap tacos and beer. The tacos were good and so were the chips and salsa. Service was friendly, albeit a bit slow, but I wasn’t in a rush. Pretty good food for the price.

Went to Burrito Bros. for the first time yesterday. You hear about so many burrito/taco places in Vancouver that are ‘AMAZING!!!’ and ‘TODIEFOR!!!’ but when you get there, it’s just kinda… meh. I was definitely not meh’d at Burrito Bros, even though I had to wait about 5 minutes for someone to realize I was there, waiting to order at the till.(I was the only one in the place! ~ and I reprimanded the owner my saying that I was taking a bunch of his Halloween candy ;). Once the actual ‘burrito magic’ began, all was right with the world again. My beef burrito was HUGE and delicious. So were the homemade chips and salsa that came with it. I’ll definitely go back again. Yum!!!

Sweet little shack near the beach. We had the battered fish tacos and they were delightfully grubby. Chips & Salsa were pretty solid. We went late in the afternoon but it looks to be a lively joint for margaritas once the evening hits.

I walked by this place on my way to Kits beach and was quite excited because i love Mexican. I got a veggie burrito with veggie beef, which i haven’t seen on menus anywhere yet. Service was quick, and what i really liked about this place is that they made it fresh from the grill, no microwaving or re-heating. The burrito was up there for delciousness. It looked like a charismatic little nook, maybe a good place for a casual date or meeting of friends.

This little gem is tucked away in Kitsilano, off the main strip. Fully licensed and featuring a local’s night every Thursday as well as specials every day, this is a delicious and authentic Mexican spot with everything a Mexi fan could ever want. As a vegetarian I’m especially impressed that they offer veggie ground so us herbivores can also get protein. The patio is fantastic and a great spot to people watch and the home made guacamole is to die for. The Cabo chicken burrito bowl is a big hit as are their jalapeño poppers. If you are in a rush, order ahead but be warned, «5 minutes» often means 20 or so unless you are physically there to keep an eye on the chef.

I’m living in the area again, and I’ve been back to this place twice, and I’m happy to say that the quality is back. I don’t know what they changed but the fish in the burrito bombers is tasting great again. Also, one of the owners, I can’t remember her name off-hand, but it was noted in an earlier review(which I’m checking and seeing has been deleted or something?) — anyway, she has these homemade empanadas which if you ask her nicely, she will make them for you. Hopefully that is not the reason why that particular review has disappeared — for if it is, this will also disappear soon. Anyway, it’s great, it’s back, go try it. Yes, the service isn’t amazing, but as long as you don’t mind paying for your food at the til and having to get your own condiments etc, it’s great.

Their burritos being part of their name I’ve found are the best things on the menu. Their deals are always great and the little restaurant itself is cozy despite the wood seating. During hockey games or other sporting events it makes for a decently low key place to enjoy on their television. Parking can be a bitch sometimes given the crowded nature of the side streets and close proximity to the beach.
