Super chill spot to sit and ponder. Great place for larger groups for apres because it a little out of the way in creek side and a 5 min walk from the gondola it’s never as busy as the village. Not the best happy hour specials but good for specials. It gets busy In the summer. Good weekend brunch.

Cure Lounge and Patio is located in the Nita Lake Lodge. With views of the lake and a comfortable sitting arrangement for both drinks and snacks, Cure Lounge is a popular stop for visitors staying at the Lodge. We stopped by for Happy Hour and enjoyed our cocktails as well as the Bloody Caesar(Canada’s version of the Bloody Mary) we later brought to our room. The Happy Hour snacks including the pita and hummus and the chips and dip were less impressive. The hummus was thick and chunky and the dip was super plain and the chips were no better than a decent bag of generic potato chips. Cure Lounge accepts credit cards, including American Express.

This is located in Nita lounge right when you walk into the lobby. There is live music playing sometimes in the evening. Stopped here to grab lunch before going to the airport. The burger was stacked pretty high. It has lettuce, tomato, bacon, and onion rings. I had fries everyday on this trip and this place had the best fries that I had at whistler. They were crispy and had a good amount of seasoning.

The staff was very friendly, the lounge was beautiful and the ambiance was relaxing, just what you want after a day of skiing! The food was amazing and all organic. The burger was super moist, filling and cooked to perfection and the fries were nice and fresh.

4.5* Organic Burger is well worth the Unilocal hype. Delicious and was cooked perfect! The BBQ wings appetizer was good. Tasted oddly similar to the BBQ on BBQ Lays Potato Chips. Nita Lake Salad was also tasty! The DJ was groovy and the staff were very friendly!

The Organic Burger was the bomb! A mouthful stacked with 2 onion rings. Wonderful setting, beautiful view of Lake Louise, and very friendly staff. Worth stopping before you get to Whistler!

The staff makes it! We stayed at Nita Lake Lodge for 5 night and visited Cure Lounge twice for drinks and snacks– on our first night and our last night. Laura, Jody and Laurie took exquisite care of us, suggesting sites to see and things to enjoy in the area while keeping us well-imbibed and laughing. The cheese plate was delicious as we’re the fresh oysters, both hit the spot after long days of fun. We stopped in once for lunch on the patio as well. The calamari was a treat and the burger was large enough to share. These guys made us feel very welcomed and we will be back!(Shout out to Okkar and the front desk staff who were very helpful during a random wardrobe malfunction!)

We were hungry around lunch time but didn’t want to eat anything too filling because we had a massage appointment at Scandinave Spa so we opted for a light snack. Cure is the little lobby bar/lounge area across from Aura inside Nita Lake Lodge. We sat down by the window so we could enjoy the lake view while we ate. 1. Mushroom Chowder — I usually don’t like cream soups/chowder, I guess being Asian has messed up my soup preferences haha but I like clear soups. However Rick is a big chowder fan so he talked me into this. It was actually really good, not too thick which was perfect for my water texture soup preference. I also liked that this wasn’t seafood lol. The bacon wasn’t too present either which I also liked. 2. Beef Burger minus the beef — replaced with Chicken since Rick doesn’t eat beef. IT was good, very light and had your typical toppings(tomato, cheese, lettuce, onion). The fries were OK — nothing to write home about. Service was good, it was one guy working the whole lounge area and it wasn’t too busy so he was pretty efficient about clearing our plates and getting us the bill when we were finished.

Pasta was good… sauce wasn’t too creamy and bacon was just right. Burger was good. Fries looked good but weren’t that tasty… just ask for a side of mayo and problem solved though. I would come back. We sat outside so the view was great.

Had drinks at Cure before heading over to Red Door Bistro for dinner and thought we need to come back for dinner on our next trip to Whistler. It’s a great bar: Busy but not crowded, live music but not overly loud and great drinks at a reasonable price. We also snacked on some great fries and the burgers look very good. The menu is basically bar food but done with care.

I ordered the seafood chowder at the suggestion of the bartender, but was disappointed to find 95% potatoes and carrots, 1 clam and a few pieces of bacon. My husband and I have stayed here before and love the property: rooms are beautiful and quiet, location is off the beaten path at Creekside and we will come back regardless, but so disappointed in the quality of the food at the bar this evening. We would love to see the Big Salad come back on the menu that we had last year with the charcuterie and poached egg!

Great atmosphere with nice, limited food selections. Prices were reasonable with live entertainment. We’ll be back for sure.

This bar/lounge in the Nita Lake Lodge in Creekside is a low-key, casual spot with friendly, competent bartenders and hit-or-miss bar food. We stayed at the lodge and had some drinks and snacks at the bar so that’s what this review is based on. Drinks: lots of creative, interesting cocktails available and the bartenders aren’t afraid to go off-menu and make you up something tasty. I do not however recommend the fig-infused Manhattan. Stick with the classic version instead. Also, Shannon makes a great Negroni. Food: we had some oysters on the half-shell($ 13 for 6, $ 22 for 12), which overall was pretty tasty and some spinach and goat cheese flatbread($ 12) that was meh(but fine in a pinch and good for sharing). I wish they had better bar appetizers for light noshing pre-dinner. Most of what’s available was pretty heavy and not conducive to sharing. The dinner entrees looked pretty good(and the price point at $ 18 – 22 is pretty reasonable compared to Aura, the fancy resto also located in the lodge). Overall, it’s a good spot to hit up if you’re staying at the lodge(it closes by midnight at the latest) but I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here. If you do, ask Shannon to make you a yummy drink. You won’t be disappointed.

Seeing as I’m dating the Einstein of mixologists, this place caught my eye in a big way. Tucked away in the Nitka Lake Lodge is an inviting lounge that looks out onto the lake. Pretty prime location. The décor is swank with deep wood finishes and faux fur throws. It has that extremely classy yet cozy feel that can be a tough balance! Well, one look at the long bar and I knew this was my kind of place. Stored in mason jars were in-house made cocktail ingredients, such as pickled skates(crunchy and delicious with a punch of garlic), lavender, brandied cherries, candied orange rinds and my personal favourite, candied rose petals! The drink menu is creative and tantalizing, with options as simple as vanilla mint lemonade and as interesting as the Lavender lass, which includes their house-made lavender cream. Yum. I was also impressed that they used my favourite Giffard in the drink«Boy’s Don’t Cry.» As described in the menu: «A mixture of all the white spirits, Giffard Violet Liqueur, Mountain berry tea, fresh lemon. A double.» Now that is my kind of drink! The bartender is a gal who is extremely passionate about bartending and has won competitions in Whistler. Single guys take note: why settle for a woman who can cook and clean when you can have one who can make you drinks! I’d love to stay at this lodge some time. It’s gorgeous. Plus, cocktail room service would rock my world. Oh snap!
