A great place for breakfast or lunch. Patio is absolutely beautiful and food and drinks were some of the best we had during our whole trip in Cabo! Visited this restaurant three times during our weekend stay and will be back again!

Wow, just, wow! After spending 8 days in Cabo and eating at high end resorts and mid-tier resorts, we’d just written off all Cabo hotel restaurants. Then on our final day, we ate here. What a way to end vacation! I only wish we had found them sooner! The fish taco was perfectly seasoned. The corn tortilla slightly crispy. The accompaniments a perfect pairing. Oh and the carnitas sandwich! Outstanding. It wasn’t salty or tough. Perfectly seasoned. And the drinks… the best drink we had the whole week. I won’t even get started on the churros… counting the days until we stay at this resort so that we can eat here every day!

On vacation in Cabo, made it a point to come here. The entire meal was perhaps among the best I’ve ever had. The ceviche was fantastic, the calamari was prepared in a way I’ve never had before — sautéed then lightly fried? It was phenomenal. The skirt steak was absolutely delicious. But no matter what you have … save room for the churros. I’d seriously consider relocating to Cabo if I could finish each day with these. Truly sublime.

Just got back from Cabo for a mini romantic getaway this weekend… and I fell in love with hacienda! I immediately was in awe with the views of the beach and the arch in the background. The service was fabulous and the food was tasty. Aside from the great service, the beautiful view, and my amazing lobster and shrimp enchiladas… the best part was our churros for dessert! They remembered our little note that it was our anniversary and they wrote it in chocolate on our dessert plate and I thought it was very sweet of them :) we definitely plan on coming back!

This was a great meal for the family. The mac and cheese was gourmet for the kiddos. We absolutely loved the ceviche and th fresh chips were amazing. Mojitos were also delicious I had the tuna with quinoa which was amazing and I couldn’t recommend anything else more. A beautiful view on the beach has to be the best place for dinner on the water.

Queso fundido Chips and guacamole Shrimp and lobster enchiladas Queso fundido is ridiculously good. Better than the main course. I would say this place is perfect for a great lunch. Dinner not so much, but definitely a great lunch spot. Churros and lobster enchiladas were decent, but the Queso Fundido is incredibly good.

Shrimp tacos and guacamole right on the beach? Yes, please! I found this place on Unilocal before our cruise stopped here for a day. I’m so glad I did! We had crab flautas, guacamole, shrimp tacos, and churros. Everything was great! And really, what is better than eating shrimp tacos on a beach in Mexico?! If I had to pick one thing to complain about though it would be that the flautas were a little too crabby, if that’s even possible. It just had a really strong seafoody taste. The margaritas are good but strong(if you’re a baby like me). And yes, the prices are a little high but I think it’s worth it to have a nice lunch on the beach. If you’re vacationing here it is definitely worth splurging for! Fair warning, the shrimp tacos don’t taste as good when you’re throwing them up. But don’t worry that had nothing to do with the restaurant, that was 4 rum punches I had earlier that day…

Great place! Very quite and romantic. We walked in through the guard gate(make reservations). Not a loud party place, a much needed break from the noise and haste. Had dinner on the beach at sunset(no vendors) perfect drinks and high end food with normal prices. Perfect date night place.

WOW! What an AMAZING dinner! We came here for dinner on our bachelor/bachelorette party and every single one of our friends couldn’t stop gushing about how perfect the place was. The restaurant is absolutely stunning from the moment you walk in. Everywhere you look is intricately detailed and beautiful. We sat outside and the combination of the beautiful detailing, twinkly lights, pool, and proximity to the ocean was just so beautiful and romantic. If the positives had stopped there, I would’ve still given Hacienda Cocina y Cantina a good rating. But the positives didn’t stop there, the entire night was perfection. From the service to the food to the drinks and the dessert, absolute perfection. You really can get anything here and it would be good. We tried almost the whole menu and there wasn’t a dish anyone was disappointed by. My favorites included: –Chalupa con Atun: a fresh, delicious, and crazy flavorful ahi tuna. The combination of the apple and avocado flavors was so delightful! –Flautas De Cangrejo Vinagreta De Jamaica: crab flautas with mango slaw and hibiscus sauce. How amazing does that sound? You can’t get a better sweet and savory combination. –Enchiladas de Langosta Y Camaron: lobster and shrimp enchiladas with an amazing chipotle sauce. Anytime I’m back in Cabo, you can get bet I will be back here and I highly recommend you come here too!

First off, the view you get from this restaurant is amazing. I highly recommend the crab flautas! So delicious– the crab meat has a slightly smoky taste to it, if I remember correctly. It was sooo good. The mango slaw that comes with it was okay, but dude. Those flautas. Also, definitely get a mojito if you’re a mojito fan! They don’t skimp out on mint leaves at all. Having lunch at 3:30pm on a scorching hot afternoon calls for a refreshing mojito. My mom got the sea bass tacos(comes in 3) with 3 different salsas, which weren’t that impressive. The fish were okay, but we were both turned off by the tortillas. They weren’t soft or crispy. They were just awkwardly semi-hard. and they weren’t very warm either. Kind of on the pricey side, but the view, atmosphere, and service made it worth it. I really liked their bathrooms too.

Wow! I am speechless about this place. Let me just save this and come back another time to write it… Alright! So my friends and I came here for dinner, a little over a week ago, while on our trip to Cabo San Lucas. This has to be my favorite restaurant we went to. We had dinner at sunset and the setting was beautiful. Our table was on the beach, and watching the sunset while having our appetizers was breathtaking. Queso Fundido — CHEESE! YUMM! So this one is like a cheese fondue. I’m not sure how to eat it but you’re given soft tortillas so I think you put the cheese and meat in it and eat it like a taco. I don’t know but it’s so good. The goopy delicious cheesy mess is so mouthwatering! I even stole some chips from the guac and chips plate to scoop up some cheese! The best part of this dish is the burnt cheese in the end from the stone pot! Guacamole and Chips — Just traditional guac and chips to me. Camarones Baja — because I’m «allergic» to onions I decided to get this dish. It’s shrimp with chipotle mashed potatoes. Once I received my dish I thought«That’s it?» 5 shrimp and mashed potatoes! Looks can definitely be deceiving. I could not finish it! It’s very filling! The shrimps are large! Very delicious! Pastel De Cuatro Leches — I love tres leches, but quatros leches!!! Touched every taste bud! Definitely a must try! Way better than tres leches! So soft, so creamy, so yummy! MMMmm MMmm!!! Churros De La Casa — The churros come with chocolate and caramel dipping sauce. I prefer the caramel. Another great dessert to try! Once it gets cold, they have serapes to keep you warm. Very cute setting! I will definitely come back here on my next trip to Cabo San Lucas.

Was really not that impressed with this place. Felt the service was very slow considering there were several empty tables. The food was okay but I felt overpriced for the quality. It wasn’t bad but it just wasn’t great. In my opinion if this place were not located right on the water with great views it could not survive on its food and beverage revenue. I think there are much better places in Cabo to enjoy fine dining and an evening out.

Okay. This place is the best place to eat Mexican in Cabo San Lucas. It’s so good that we’re having our wedding here in November. We have been here a few times and each time, we’ve had an amazing experience. Their service is superior. The food is phenomenal. And the view? That’s the main reason we came here. It’s a beautiful residential resort and very clean. There isn’t one part of this place that isn’t gorgeous. And the prices are so reasonable, it’s insane for the food they have here. My favorite things to order: Any type of enchiladas. Steaks. Queso Fundido. The margaritas. Any kind of seafood. My mouth waters thinking about this food. I can’t express to you enough how much we love this place. And we’re even more excited to bring our wedding party here so they can see what we always rave about. Try it. You will not regret it. Just don’t make it so busy that it’s hard for me to get in there to eat. *wink

We’ve visited this restaurant countless times but on our last visit we walked away feeling dissatisfied, the chefs appear to cater to Americans and the food has become extremely bland. The quality has also gone down we always ordered the gouda mac and cheese for our child which is now without gouda. The wine list was also very limited. Of course the location is unbeatable and the service has always been good. I hope one day they will change up their menu and add some spieces because we love coming here.

This was our first time visiting Cabo, we stayed for a week — Hacienda Cocina y Cantina was by far my favorite restaurant that we tried. We went after sunset, so unfortunately we didn’t get to experience the views that we saw in other reviews(which looked amazing). The ambiance at night was still great, the lighting/décor was warm and cozy. The service was the best we experienced in Cabo — the waiters were attentive and anticipated what we needed in a timely manner without us having to ask. The food was also excellent. One issue with the queso fundido appetizer we had was that we couldn’t seem to eat it fast enough before it started hardening, which made it difficult to eat. For the entrée we opted for one of the family style dishes for two, «molcajete»(Skirt steak, grilled chicken, chorizo, guero chile, panela cheese, black beans, avocado). The skirt steak was mouth-watering and amazing, my favorite part of the entrée. The chicken was very overcooked, but otherwise would’ve been tasty as well. My FAVORITE item during our whole stay was the churros. They were some of the best I’ve ever had, and was made even better with the caramel dipping sauce. I already want to go back for this. Overall, I would highly recommend eating here and would love to go back during the day to see the view.

The Hacienda is THE spot for outdoor dining in Cabo. Although our dinner was somewhat ruined by the pretentious d-bag at the next table, the rest of the experience was quite good. To be honest, I think the appetizers here beat out the main dishes. The Hacienda also boasts a great view over Medano beach and the surrounding area. The service was attentive, although some of the staff seamed quite aloof or less than genuine in their interactions(I found this typical around Cabo) We had the Ceviche and Ahi Tostadas to start and both were awesome. I would come back just for the Ceviche. The Sea Bass entrée was good, but nothing to write home about. Skip the sweet corn cheesecake and go straight for the Churros for dessert, some of the best I ever had!

Food was amazing, and the atmosphere was great as well. Great for date night/friends gathering. Note that the place is outdoor. I had the empanada(appetizer) and the seafood enchilada dish which was pretty heavy. Definitely something you’d share with someone. However, if you’re looking for cheap eats in Cabos, this is not the place to go to, cost about the same as US restaurants.

Such an awesome restaurant to dine at if in Cabo! The service is top-notch and more than attentive. We had a large party of 14 and everything went smoothly w/o any hassles. We made a reservation day of and at first they said there wouldn’t be room for one large table so we’d be seated at two, but once we arrived we had a large table that easily sat everyone! JAMAICAMARGARITA — not that strong at all. but quite tasty! COMPJICAMA — so refreshing! I wish I can snack on these all day~ MOLCAJETE — this was shared and everything was pretty tasty. The chicken was really tender and the sausage was super flavorful! The only thing I wasn’t a fan of was the stuffed pepper because of the cheese they used. GRILLEDSHRIMPANDMASHEDPOTATOES — were SOOO good. The mash was super delicious with perfect amounts of garlic. The shrimp were plump and cooked perfectly. This is a definite must try here! I really wanted to try the lobster and shrimp enchiladas but was just too full! But the pics look amazingggg. Also, the view is pretty great too! I’d suggest to reserve in advance for better/romantic seating!

If you want to get the full effect of being on vacation in Cabo San Lucas, eating great food, with the back drop of the famous arch, this is the place. Yes it’s a little pricey, but it’s so worth it. The food is delicious, and the service is excellent. We made a 6:30 p.m. reservation and arrived about 6 p.m. They greeted and seated us immediately. My wife was amazed at the location of this restaurant. The waves were crashing literally on the other side of the wall, where we were sitting. The menu didn’t have a very large selection of dishes, but they did offer other dishes that were not on the menu. I ordered their sea bass special, which came with a mixture of veggies, olives, corn, tomato’s, onions, spinach, and others. They were grilled to perfection. My wife ordered the«Arrachera,» which was a grilled skirt steak that came with mashed potato’s, adobo sauce, and red oñion escabeche sauce. Her only complaint was that it was slightly over cooked, because she wanted it «medium.» The drink selection wasn’t extensive either, as they only had a few beers on tap, and a mild selection of mixed drinks, mostly mojitos. The one thing we both fell in love with was their dessert. We ordered the chocolate cake. It came with a cinnamon chip on the side, a scoop of vanilla ice cream, and vanilla wafer crumbs, mmmmmm! We finished that thing so fast! I think we ate too fast all together, as we left there feeling pretty bloated. The walk back to the taxi wasn’t very pleasant as you have to hike up a couple floors to get back to the entrance of the restaurant. The one thing to our advantage was that one of the staff members offered to drive us back(in a golf cart) to the hotel gate, where we flagged down a taxi. We had a great experience coming here and we would highly recommend it to anyone who visits. (4.5 Star recommendation)

When you go to restaurants twice in a short span of your vacation week, you know this place is good. The second time we were here for dinner, we weren’t able to get a table overlooking the beach. But the manager recognized us, thanking us for coming back and said he’ll try his best to get us a beach view table. Literally within one minute, he led us over to the table we had the first time. Such great service! Food was delicious. Everything we ordered from soups to entrees were prepared fresh and flavorful. Between our 2 times coming here, we ordered the tamales entrée, camerones Baja, shrimp enchiladas, margaritas and wines. One thing I got to say, great portion sizes!!! This isn’t like your typical American big ol’ plate of food that makes you feel terribly fat and stuffed afterwards. My 3 tamales(chicken, beef and cheese) entrée may sound like a lot of food but even as a small eater, I was able to finish it. So enjoy your dinner and you can still save room for dessert or even a dessert cocktail. The ambience is gorgeous. It is intimate, romantic, classy and upscale. Try to come especially during sunset. You get to watch the sun go down, feel the ocean breeze and enjoy quality time with your loved one. Thinking about the experience I had makes my heart go pitter-patter. =)
