One of our favorite go-to restaurants in Cabo and a total hidden gem. The food here is outrageously good. Not to miss: –The Tuna Jicama Tacos(light, fresh, amazing) –the Crispy Short Rib Tacos(so crazy flavorful and delicious –the Cheesecake(it’s off the menu but exceptional – ask for it!) –the duck tacos are also really good but deep fried and fatty, so very heavy –the lychee martini is surprisingly delicious!

My husband and I decided to make this place our romantic night out. We were very pleased with our decision. I felt like I was at home with the atmopher, menu, wine selection and service. We read the reviews about what we should order. So we ordered three different appetizers. the duck tacos and they were ok. The tuna tacos were by far our favorite! The cheese and chorizo was good and cheese. We also ordered the Salmon which was great! We wanted to try a wine from mexico and we did! It was amazing so much that we bought a bottle home. The dessert wow! my husband got the dark chocolate cake, banana ice cream and hymica sauce. I had caramel cake, mocha and orange. The service was great and very attentive. We really enjoyed our romantic dinner

Templo is a beautiful restaurant with an amazing menu. We had the sweetbreads and ribeye tips for appetizer followed by the steak and a fish dish. It was so delicious. Unfortunately due to medical issues I had to leave without having a chance to eat my main dish(they packaged it up for me to take to our resort which I enjoyed the following day). I have to say that the staff were so caring about my condition. The manager brought over a digestive for me, but it wasn’t the food. It was a medical condition. I hope they have a chance to read this review, because the food was outstanding! The service was impeccable and everyone we encountered from the first hello to the last good bye was superb! Thank you and we plan to return!

Wow, hard to find… nobody, not even taxi drivers or policemen or locals seemed to know where to find this place… but well worth the half hour spent walking in circles!!! The food was exquisite, the service perfect, the flank steak and salmon ceviche mouth-watering lay fantastic! Especially loved the flank steak which was cooked exactly to perfection, tender, juicy, and«muy sabroso!» Of i could afford to eat here every night, I would. Extra surprise: a very talented guitar player/singer who is so great that he got my mother & cousin-in-law up to dance, & made the others follow!!!

Excellent ambiance in a casual setting with live music, fresh salad and ceviches, and fresh fish with risotto paired with an artisans approach to mixed drinks.

On Unilocal, should be at the top of the list! Started with the tuna taco ceviche in jicama«tortilla» — probably the most perfect bite we have had in our three trips to cabo San Lucas. Next had the lamb Gyoza– I liked it but wife said it was ok. Finally the entrees– could not ask for any better. Wife had the catch of the day which was grouper– was like butter with the perfect accompanying potato purée. I had the chili salmon with green beans. Hands down, the best salmon dish I have ever had. Make sure u eat all the parts of this dish together for the taste the chef is going for– just awesome. Service was great. All of the above, with 3 glasses of wine and one cocktail was $ 118! Phenomenal.

Don’t think about just go and you will be so happy when you leave. Food is OFFTHECHARTS !!! We had grilled octopus(chat grilled perfectly I might add), empanadas(you have never had one this good), and the f____ing Carmel center cake with mocha ice cream. WTF this chef is a genius. The flavor a and textures were outstanding and they even brought out the hottest of the hot chiles called the chiltepin. Add that to your habanero sauce, and your mouth will be ignited!!!

All taco, quesadilla, and burrito’d out? Then book yourself a table here! Although reservations may not be needed — we were surprised that we had the restaurant all to ourselves at 6 p.m. Could have been that we were early birds or it could have been that private party that pulled up in a bus about an hour after us. Nevertheless, classy chic looking place smack dab in the middle of a residential neighborhood with a great cocktail/wine menu AND delicious, innovative dishes. I got one of those cool purse racks to hang my essentials and found my all time favorite margarita on the menu – Tamarindo – and hubby found his favorite scotch. We started with the jicama tuna, habanero aioli, avocado taco. My taste buds were instantly wooed, and infatuated with that dish. My gut told me we should have ordered more small plates like that jicama taco, but dummy brain didn’t’t listen and we had entrees, which were good, but it would have been so much more fun to explore more of the tasty treasures on the menu. For entrees, I had the salmon quinoa kale emulsion with black olives, and mister had a ribeye with mashed potatoes and grilled veggies. My entrée was good, but predictable to my taste buds, that’s why I wished I had listened to my gut. Mister said his dish was done well but not really a fan of the all the fatiness that comes with ribeye. Yet another reason I wished we had just ordered more small plates to share. No dessert because we were stuffed. I need a do over here! Hopefully, next trip we do it right! P. S. Before heading out, you should ask them to call you a taxi unless you are wearing sensible shoes and like maneuvering the uneven, ledge like sidewalks/curbs of residential Cabo. I wore unsensible shoes and was quite challenged when it came to walking even though I only had one drink. Took awhile before my guardian angel took pity on me and sent us a taxi!

A local took us to this restaurant and it was the best food I tasted in awhile. We had the octopus, steak bites, cesear salad, salmon, and duck tacos. Everything was out of this world. The décor was awesome and perfect for a late night dinner! I would recommend trying the steak bites because you will never have anything like them again!

After reading previous reviews about this restaurant, we decided to give it a try. The two orders of appetizer were good. One was a salmon(saviche) a take on seviche and sashimi, the other was a grilled octopus. We brought our own wine and were told a corkage charge would be added(190 pesos) about 10.00 dollars, we enjoy good wine and prefer to chose our own. Dinner arrived, braised short ribs served with grilled vegetables and a New York strip cut as a fillet. The food quality was overall OK, no stands outs and the staff was very nice and attentive. The three star is because when the bill was presented, the corkage fee had gone to 350 pesos. Most people don’t ever bother to actually check their bills and they should. It’s a matter of trust.

I am grateful to have discovered Templo on Unilocal,as the location is not one we would have ever stumbled upon. Very nice ambience with an excellent live musician playing while we were there. We started with our round of complimentary margaritas for Unilocal check-ins and shared a variety of food plates from the enticing creative menu. I personally shared tuna taco ceviche(my favourite of all the dishes), pork belly empanadas, and pesto sweet potato. I sampled bites from other dishes and everything was excellent. On top of that service was top notch. The restaurant manager visited our table to get feedback on our experience and also explain the inspiration for the very interesting menu – that combines South American, Mexican, and Asian cuisines. He later brought us a delicious cheesecake on the house. Highly recommend for anyone in Cabo!

Tried this restaurant after reading Unilocal reviews… So glad we did! This is definitely a hidden gem in Cabo! From the moment we stepped out of our taxi to the moment we step back into another we were treated like royalty… the atmosphere very is very upscale, while being warm and inviting at the same time. From the hostess, to our waiter, and the other 2 lovely young men that assisted him, to meeting and speaking with Cesar, the manager, they went out of their way to make our experience exceptional. We had hibiscus and the guava margaritas, as well as a mango and lychee maritinis. Shrimp and fish ceviche and the pork belly empanadas. Our main course, consisted of the pork cheeks and encrusted salmon, and ended with our sift centered cakes and sorbet/ice cream. Let me just say PUREFOODIEHEAVEN! I would definitely come here again. On our next trip to Cabo! And would definelty suggest this to anyone visiting Cabo! And please say«Hi» to Cesar and chat with him… very interesting life he’s had, and genuinely sincere…

Absolutely the best restaurant I have ever been to. Our waiter Felipe, was kind, patient, and attentive. He answered every question we had about the food and wine menu. The food was to die for. I tried a bite of a few plates plus and an appetizer and loved everything. My fiancé and I have already decided if we vacation at Cabo again we are definitely going back.

What a find in Cabo! We were referred by resort staff. The service was incredible. We arrived early we learned at 6:30 for dinner. We checked in via Unilocal and we learned that we got two Margaritas gratis! My wife had the hibiscus margarita and I a lime. They were perfect made to order. The lime had a hint of anisette which was a nice twist. They have an amazing wine list with California and Mexican and Argentinian wines along with huge selection of brown and clear spirits and sake. The staff walked through the menu for us. We started with the provoletas, a grilled mozzarella-like cheese with chorizo, smoked ham and roasted tomato served in a cast iron along with crostini’s. Totally amazing! I hope I can find this back in San Francisco. Next we ordered two duck tacos. These usually come 3 to an order, they graciously said they could do two and pro rate the price. I wish all restaurants were so accommodating! My wife had ta glass of Norton Malbec(Argentina) that was outstanding. I had a glass of chardonnay that was nice but I preferred buttery and oaky. For the entrée, we ordered the catch of the day which was a 6 – 7 oz filet of sea bass pan fried lightly and served with ghee with a few minced Serrano peppers for a slightly spicy flavor, spinach mashed potatoes and a slice of tomato and lettuce. We were full! At 8:00 a singer and a guitarist appeared to perform. My wife had the house made citrus sorbet. Slightly tart and refreshing. This is a must if you venture out of your resort. Do not miss this place.
