My favorite seafood tacos(mahi mahi, shrimp) tacos in Sayulita! It’s right before the beach, and inexpensive. I’ve never seen carrots/cucumber/onion etc marinated in soy sauce as a side but let me tell you it was delicious. The guacamole portions are large enough for 4 – 5 people too.

Decent size. Good filling. Fresh sauce is like thousand island dressing, which could be good or bad depending if you like thousand island dressing.

Ate here twice on the three days we were in town. I love the camarones and fish tacos, grilled. The orange sauce is delicious. Be warned, these aren’t small tacos so order two to start. The set up is perfect for people watching or shopping from vendors, but don’t come hungry. The service is very slow.

A perfect stop on the way to or from the beach, The Real Fish Taco has one of the best fish tacos I’ve had in a long time. We tried both the grilled fish and the shrimp tacos. They came on a flour tortilla with only the freshest of lettuce, tomatoes, cilantro and cucumbers topped with a chipotle mayo sauce. DELICIOUS! We also had a side salad which was marinated cucumbers, carrots and red onions in soya sauce. Also fresh and enjoyable.

Serious tacos here, that’s what we’re reviewing. At least 3oz. of mahi, grilled well and with a terrific flour, yes flour tortilla. Very rare in these parts, flour tortillas that is, and they’re done better than anywhere I’ve seen. Topped with a mound of lettuce, yes it’s garnished well! And then you’ve your choice of a multitude of spices, this is legit! Seriously good and great portions, cooked perfectly and prices are right!

We came back twice. Convenient location close to the beach. Really enjoyed their grilled shrimp as well as battered oysters tacos, which are served with fresh chopped tomatoes, onions, etc. and a mayonnaise. Lots of hot sauces to choose from as well. First time, we tried the mahi mahi and marlin, and both were seriously overcooked. Limited beverage options(at least they have Coronas). According to my boyfriend, you want to avoid their bathroom at all cost.

Oh yeh. Clean, good and filling. The shrimp, marlin or fish tacos are fantastic. Sometimes they have tuna, chicken or steak too. Full of meat and veggies. Lots of avocado. Served with chili oil and a bowl of sliced veggies. 35 pesos a taco. 2 will fill you up.

My favorite spot to grab some awesome fish tacos while hanging out at the beach. This place has been around for years and remains a top go-to spot. They have fresh mahi-mahi and shrimp. Grilled or deep fried. Lots of fresh vegetables and this year they have a soy marinated veggies(cucumbers, carrots) as a free side. About 50 different hot sauces to choose from and always happy fun to talk to customers. I have not tried some of their new options(oysters?) but don’t feel the need to…

Lots of things about this fish taco stand seem like they should make it perfect — the hordes of customers, the location within sight, smell, and sound of the ocean, and the delicious-smelling pieces of mahi and other seafood on the grill. But alas, each of the tacos we had were disappointing. Some, like smoked marlin, had a strange sweet sauce on them; others, like the fried oysters, just lacked zing. The mahi was indeed good, but somehow it seemed to have become less good by being transformed into a taco than it would have been straight off the grill. And that is not how tacos are supposed to work. The tables are dressed with a bowl of julienned vegetables in soy sauce, and while those were strange, they were quite tasty.

Awesome little vendor on the streets of sayulita that serves VERY fresh tacos of mahi mahi or shrimp with an incredible homemade chile de Arbol(or chipotle) salsa. Serves with a smile.
