Burger Wisconsin

I have to say, I was a bit disappointed in the offerings of Burger Wisconsin. I’m a fan of burgers, and have tried quite a few around Auckland, and this may be the most disappointing one of all. For a start, it is ludicrously expensive. For two burgers, two fries and two shakes, it was almost $ 50. For that amount of money, I want a decent burger. An amazing burger, in fact. And I just didn’t get it. I ordered the chicken, bacon and avocado burger, in a petite size. I will say that for a burger labelled as «petite», it was a good size. However, the chicken was oddly gelatinous, and it was crumbed, which I didn’t expect or particularly appreciate. The bacon wasn’t crispy, and the whole thing was just a bit soggy and sad.
The fries were fine (although if you get the regular fries, no sauce is included — boo!) and the shakes are HUGE — like, American huge. That aside, I went there for a good burger, not good chips and a shake, so I can’t say I’ll be returning any time soon when BurgerFuel is just around the corner and is infinitely better and cheaper.

A burger isn’t usually my first choice when I’m craving a takeaway but one thing I do know is that I’m never going to be disappointed if I choose to get one from Burger Wisconsin. They are an upper class burger joint that offer exotic flavours and ingredients. A little on the pricey side however depending on what you choose for example their angus pure beef burger is around $ 16. You do get excellent ingredients though and the taste is well above average! My favourite item on their menu is the big island burger, its got chicken, pineapple, bacon and cheese… sooooo good! If you’re a hawaiian pizza fan this well definitely be your cup of tea. The people working here are great, really down to earth and friendly. I also like to see that they all wear a uniform that includes a hat to ensure you don’t end up with someone else’s hair in your mouth (vom). Really good street parking here, and tables to eat at if you don’t fancy taking your meal away.

Zwei Worte: Geile Burger! Man kann Burger auch in gut machen, mit frischen Zutaten. Hier bin ich sogar als Vegetarier auf meine Kosten gekommen. Gilt auch für die andere NZ-​Kette, Burger Fuel.

der burger wisconsin bietet fast food mal in lecker. für neuseeländische verhältnisse sind die chips (pommes frittes) sehr knusprig und die burger sind ein traum. sehr lecker sind die burger rocket und avocado. sehr frischer salat und tolles fleisch. die preise sind etwas höher als bei der amerikanischen konkurrenz. aber das geld sind sie auf jeden fall wert.
