Paco Design Store is run by the charming and vibrant Gilberto Navas-​Cotte, who has handpicked the local New Zealand and international brands that fill his store by hand. He manages to create great looks from the combination of pieces from as far afield as his native Columbia with items he’s seen on local runways and will happily fit his customers with a fresh, new look. My favourite brand at Paco is Cyclus — bags and accessories made from cycle inner tubes and tyres. This is upmarket upcycling at its best; check it out.
