Hands down the best restaurant in all of Puerto Rico. We were in town for only a few days and came back again and again for the amazing Italian food. The pizza, the pasta, the carpaccio was all out of this world!!!

This was an amazing Italian meal. The atmosphere is up and modern. We had the mushrooms Risotto and it was unbelievable. Great service as well!

This was a surprisingly decent Italian meal in Puerto Rico. We came here because they were near our hotel and could accommodate our group on short notice, but ended up really enjoying our meal. The atmosphere in the restaurant is open and modern. Unfortunately, it was rainy when we visited so we couldn’t take advantage of the huge patio, but that looks like a nice area to dine too. We shared a pizza as an appetizer; it was plenty big for six to share as a starter and had a nice thin crust. For my main, I had the penne alla arrabiata with eggplant. It had more kick to it than I expected(not a complaint!), and was too big of a serving to finish. My only complaint about it was that the pasta was cooked past al dente. Carpaccio is worth checking out if you’re in the mood for Italian in Condado.

Just the ambience of this place deserves a 5 star by itself but I decided to rated it as a 4 stars. We order the tuna carpaccio as a starter and it was definitely one of the freshest one that I have had. I personally ordered the capresse salad with burrata and it was super fresh too. The reason I decided to rated it as a 4 star is because of the pasta. Two of our friends ordered the pasta but it wasn’t nothing special, it was just decent. The overall service was excellent. I would visit again if I have the chance.

Carpaccio welcomed our family group of 30 while we were on a recent vacation in San Juan. We enjoyed a wonderful, leisurely meal. We were able to secure a reservation for the same day. The staff was extremely welcoming and attentive, making sure our water(and sangria!) glasses were always full. Everyone enjoyed their meals — I had one of the night’s specials, a veal lasagna. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Service was pretty slow! The food was decent… We ordered fried calamari appetizer, which was average. The six of us ordered pasta dishes that were all very good, other than the gnocchi which was okay(kind of soggy.) wifi password is «pura vida» for anyone needing it. Some staff was friendly, while others were not. Overall okay experience…

What a difference a new owner makes. Acoustic panel and partially dropped ceilings make an incredible difference. You can actually hear your neighbors and enjoy the conversation. Food is super: calamari were crisp and tasty. The Lobster croquettes were just lovely. Chorizo in wine and Italian salumeria platters were excellent.

We’ve been a few times and always are reminded that while«okay», there are better options. The staff is always officious without being overly friendly. The space could be so amazing, yet lacks charm and atmosphere. The food is hit or miss. We had Chicken Parm(better than it looked but the pasta was gummy and not great) and another Chicken dish reminiscent of Chicken Marsala(that was pretty tasty.) The meatball appetizer on the other hand: dreadful. Think tough little meatballs floating in a sauce that reminded us of Chef Boyardee. The bread was actually tough rolls that seemed old. Wine list was very reasonable. So, not sure we’d be back… but in a pinch, we have a better idea of what to order.

Just an unpleasant experience from top to bottom. The two top tables have bright lights right at eye level, making conversation blinding and more frustrating than usual. We moved to a different section next to an obnoxious group of five teenage woo girls obviously enjoying their fifth or sixth bottle of wine. The fettucine was fine but extremely rich. I ordered a frutti di mare pizza which came out as frutti di mare pasta. I had to wait an additional twenty minutes for the pizza to come out, which was mediocre at best. Our waiter spoke no English to further complicate matters and our bill was incorrect not once but twice. I’m sure there are better places for Italian in San Juan. Look elsewhere.

After eating tons of Spanish food I had to find an Italian restaurant and I’m glad I came here. The service is great and the food was delicious. No complaints here.

Nothing beats a savory meal at Carpaccio on a hot and humid summer night. With the air conditioner humming away, the neat and spacey interior will make your meal a comfort to partake in. Starting with a plate of just-from-the-oven-buns topped with(olive?) oil including rosemary, you’ll choose from an array of foods, including pastas, pizzas, and appetizers. I particularly recommend a cheese platter if you have invited a large group of people, as the savory and tasty cheeses with go well with sharing(on the account of how many cheeses there will be to make you taste buds dance). Not only that, but the creamy cheese Alfredo pasta and traditional cheese pizzas with blow your mind– I still had room after sampling a large selection of appetizers! Carpaccio is perfect if you plan on walking away full and happy! ~(OwO)~

Excellent service(ask for Abel). Very attentive, and knew the menu well. Nice atmosphere although the acoustics allowed conversations to be heard across the room. Moderate pricing… About $ 66.00 for two(w/o tip). Food was awesome. Everything was delicious. The only thing I disliked was the location of the smoking area. It was just outside the entrance and as the door swung the smoke got in. Not cool for nonsmokers. Although there is valet, parking is limited. Walking distance from most hotels. We had Rissoto Croquettes, White Sauce Lasagna, linguine with chicken breast and crème Bruleé

So tasty! We got the lasagna(it is made with white sauce, not red wasn’t expecting that but it still really good.) Also got the ‘neron’ pizza and added pepperoni… really good! Service was good. Atmosphere was nice

Food: — Tortellini de Casa: Cheese tortellini with ham, mushrooms, and spinach in creamy sauce. This would have been delicious if it wasn’t a little too salty. I liked how it was extra saucy. I love dipping bread into pasta sauce. 3.5÷5 Service: Our waitress was very nice. She gave us great recommendations. She often checked on us and even took a picture of our group at the end. She also spitted our meals individually without making a fuss. 5⁄5 Final thoughts: I would definitely come back. The food was good and the restaurant had nice ambiance.

What a cozy and elegant restaurant! Me and my family had an excellent dinner. Karla(our superb server) was kind enough to order us a cheese pizza for the kids which was a non menu item(she had us there). We started with some fried calamari and basil mojitos. Then we had the house salad, gnocchi which is made in the house and we had a fresh salmon filet cooked perfectly. We finished our dinner with a tiramisu some grappa and espresso. We’ll be back for sure.

Excellent service and excellent food. We ran into this little place for a snack and we were pleasantly surprised. We sat on front patio and they had nice elegant piano music playing. We had a nice bottle of wine from Spain and they had a diverse wine list from all the popular regions around the world. We ate stuffed mushrooms that were so good with a sauce that was light and savory. Then we had a caprese salad that was served deconstructed and with the added prosciutto. The food was fantastic and the atmosphere is elegant.

Wonderful up-scale Italian restaurant right in the resort district, just steps off the busy Avienda Ashford. Wine is only by the bottle, but you can get beer or sodas(in case you can’t power-thru an entire bottle by yourself). We shared an appetizer of proscuitto y formaggi(with meat, various cheeses, olives and some bread). It was very good, but bigger than what two people would need if they’re also having entrees(which we did!). For our mains, we had a Tortellini di la Casa and the daily special, a veal-chop parmigiana. They have desserts, but by this point, there was just no way! The food was so good we couldn’t have eaten another bite!
