Flavor unmemorable. Overpriced and small portions. After naan and a dinner dish my friend and I had to go eat elsewhere afterwards because we were still hungry. Would not return.

This is one of several restaurants in the Geneva area where they first served me food with onions and/or garlic(even though I explicitly asked for it without several times), and eventually they brought the dish made a different way(without admitting to the problem). And what came out wasn’t all that great either. Décor is OK.

So I came here with my mum and dad over Christmas. NOTE: Everything on the menu is halal, though this is not boldly announced anywhere. Also, the idea is really original. It’s an Indian restaurant that also makes all their pizzas on site, in front of your eyes. The same Indian man seated us, waited on us, and prepared my pizza. He was in his mid 20s, he was attentive but not over bearing. He spoke English fairly well, better than most others we encountered in Geneva. I ordered the Vesuvio pizza and my parents ordered the Chicken Curry and Lamb Masala. We also ordered 2 Noor Biryanis(Chicken) to go for my brother. Food was pretty delicious. Everything was freshly prepared and the sauces were original. My pizza was thin crust and baked perfectly. What sent this place up to four stars was the atmosphere. Music that was present but not so loud that one can’t enjoy a conversation. The lighting was dim enough to be flattering but not so that one feels like they are in a nightclub. Tables and floor were black, sleek, modern and clean. Perfect spot for a business lunch or dinner, or for an important date. The only thing that surprised us was the bill. It came to well over 150CHF. But this was our first day in Switzerland and we hadn’t yet learned that this was a fairly average price for a meal of this quality in a decent atmosphere.
