Restaurant Cervo

The bar area is very well run and a place to be seen — but you pay for it.
Provided there’s decent snow it’s a «ski in» location; an elevator across the street brings you down to the Sunegga station for the «ski out» part.

Lively and noisy après ski scene on the large (but narrow) deck until the sun goes behind the Matterhorn. Prices start at around CHF 8 for a draft beer, CHF 10 for an Irish coffee and go up from there.
There is a proper restaurant on the second floor of the hotel. Expect prices of at least CHF75/​person for a starter, main and a modest bottle of wine.

Fabulous dinner– awesome fondue. Huge portions, beautiful restaurant, good service and nice view. Would even come here gor afternoon tea!

We came here for the fries. Seriously, we climbed a mountain and took a lift for these things and once you get over the fact that it’s 14CHF for fries, you’ll be in frite heaven. A huge basket of hot, crisp fries arrive coated in delicious truffle oil and covered in shredded parmesan. Get it served up with a «big beer» (and they do mean big) and it’s money well spent, especially before you go higher up the mountain to the beautiful lake.
The restaurant is lovely, as well. We sat outside in comfy tables, overlooking the incredible mountain scenery, including the Matterhorn. On the way out, there are complimentary branded goodies like lighters, pens and even sunnies, their gift to you — which maybe makes up for the pricey fries.
I’d definitely eat these again. Das noms!

it was ok I am not so sure what all the hype is about the Cervo. Its new it looks stunning and the terrace is amazing but the food was really just ok and I was definitely not blown away. The Truffle fries everyone raved about it was not all that great, matter of fact i did not even finish mine. Overall i think for a stop after skiing its a nice place, for dinner I think you can do better. And if the owners read this please take care of the humidor in the cigar lounge, they where all dry and peeling.

This new restaurant facility is a great place up the Sunnegga elevator or at the end of your ski day on Piste 3.
Stay drink and Eat we went to Ferdinand.
had the 50 50 barbeque. split the ample chefs meat appetizer.
everyone could not have been nicer.
reserve early, eat early and enjoy the great scenery.

Live music was also featured on a little stage.

A great restaurant for lunch or dinner.
It is at the end of a ski piste so in winter expect to find skiers mingled with tourists.
The menu is the same all day with a selection of local dishes, risotto, seafood and their burger which can be provided with their signature truffle fries.
It is busy so do book ahead. I’ve been a few times now and not disappointed.
Also, a good après ski spot with a large terrace and live music.
If in Zermatt you should add Cervo to the itinerary.
