Was turned away because I was solo. I ask if they were open they said yes. Told them it was just me and was told not for one person. Go in a small group. The place was empty by the way.

This place was great. Don’t come here looking for tapas or pintxo type dishes. That said, I only tried two dishes, both started — the cheese plate and the fisherman style clams, and both were outstanding. The wine list wasn’t pretentious and the staff picked a great and inexpensive white to pair with the food. Dessert was also fantastic, a simple«taste of Sitges» set of cookies that, when paired with the dessert wine, were outstanding. Would definitely come back.

Yep, as good as it gets, on a relative scale of fine dining, exquisitely prepared dishes, and locally sourced organic ingredients. A stellar lunch, and I have no doubt that supper is equally good. For starters, I had sardine tartar over finely chopped strawberries, beautifully presented and a perfect juxtaposition of flavors; my wife had a salad of sliced chicken and apple over greens, which was ten tomes better than it sounds, and, again, lovingly arranged. As good or better were my wife’s Eco-salad, with astonishingly good, fresh, sculpted ingredients, and my duck magnet, with some kind of subtle purple pink reduction, possibly beet, a la nouvelle, accompanied by a warm apple carob crumble. As with my starter, a fascinating juxtaposition of flavors. Dessert was a chocolate crème– filled small crêpe with a schmear of dark chocolate amid a small sea of Malvasia-infused yoghurt, Malvasia being the local sweet(and rare and famous) wine. They were also entirely accommodating to my wife’s gluten-free requirements, to the point of supplying, on their own initiative, gluten-free rolls. Dang, that was a great meal. Quiet, with a great soundtrack playing, mostly soft female vocalist jazzed-down covers of pop standards. Elegant and understated décor as well. There is every kind of beach restaurant in Sitges, and they may all be fun and fine, but I would return to eat here.
