Had an absolutely stunning meal here during our weekend in Prague! Space had a bright and modern feel with a light up ceiling displaying different images of farming, discovery and space of all things!(Our waiter gave us a «map» of the ceiling!) Menu is based on the ethos of using fresh seasonal produce prepared simply and beautifully. Dishes were simply described, but artfully prepared and presented. I had the pâté to start, which looked almost too pretty to eat! Served alongside a buttery piece of brioche and a refreshing mini bottle of lemonade, a perfect palette cleanser. My main was the lamb prepared two ways– slow raised shoulder and braised shank. Both sat atop a dreamy cauliflower purée and a deep flavourful lamb sauce. A work of art! Staff were friendly and fantastic at describing each dish. Place was a bit empty but we did have a rather late dinner booking(9pm) so the atmosphere left a little to be desired, but overall a great experience!

One of the best tasting menus we have ever had. From amuse-bouche to dessert every one of our senses was treated, with a wonderful wine pairing throughout the meal. An earthy theme connects the menu which we found amazing and we were blown away by how much imagination went into each dish, a truly awesome place! The prices are also great for the quality you get and the service and space are perfect. They deserve a star and will get it before long. If you are visiting Prague and are into tasting menus, wine flights and similar experiences Field is an absolute must(:

Sat at the chefs table on a Thursday night and enjoyed the best meal I’ve had in Prague yet. The décor emphasized the severity of farming tools and acted as a perfect compliment to the cutting edge cuisine. The décor also highlighted their dining concept of farm to table. The presentation of the dishes was modern and beautiful. The flavors were at the same time inventive yet familiar, high end yet comforting. The amuse bouche was a great opening touch that included a Parmesan crisp with baked garlic and black walnut, a beef rillette sitting upon dried bull blood and marrow, and an excellent seasonal mulled cider of cherry and grape. The goose liver appetizer was served in a chemist style terrarium and was incredibly decadent and velvety with notes of caramel and browned butter. Not to mention was one of the most creative displays I’ve seen. I could have eaten this again for dessert!!! The venison was beautifully cooked and the nougat dessert’s yogurt was standout. I highly recommend this restaurant and believe it’s only a matter of time before this restaurant receives its critical dues. It will have a Michelin star in the coming years if it continues turning dishes out like these.

I actually came here in September, but I doubt that the quality of the food or service has dropped, if the other reviews are anything to go by. ++ I’m not familiar with Czech food(first time visiting as a tourist), but the suckling pig is delicious. Somewhat similar to Chinese roasted pig, but more upscale. So was the rabbit served 3 ways. The food was nicely plated, but richer than I’m used to. I would recommend getting wine or a paired apéritif to cut some of the richness. ++ The service was great. The wait staff was very personable and they took the time to explain everything to us. + Location. The restaurant is close to the river, so it might be good to plan a walk before or after your meal. Enjoy the view, especially at night! If I travel back to Prague, I would come by again!

Meh. I was really excited to go to this farm to table restaurant. However, a little over the top in the fancy without the taste to back it up. I had the char with broccoli. The texture of the dish had tones of over seasoned baby food. And too many competing flavors. The pepper, beet, pine nut soup was delicious, the texture, again was baby food esque. I enjoyed the bread plate and the butter that accompanied it. I can’t say I’m a fan of molecular gastronomy, especially when it’s farm to table. I can’t say I’d go back.

Nice, but our dishes are a bit salty, very good presentations of some dishes and fine service

I have to say, I went with a very very high expectation of this restaurant and it totally disappointed me. While their concept is interesting, they harvest and use only local produce and meats the flavor of the food is extremely salty and with too much sauces in their dishes, so you cannot really distinguish the taste of the food. We did it with s wine paring, but even with the pairing the taste was just not up to par with the food. Don’t just base your selection because of the reviews. I really couldn’t give this restaurant a 4 or 5 star. The picture of the quail dish in my review, while a great presentation, it lacked in taste and exceeded in salt flavor. Reason for a 3 is they do try very hard in presentation. Very small restaurant, so make sure you have a reservation or you will be sent away, as I observed it to be done to a few who requested a table without one.

I came to this restaurant fleeing the *tourist traps* of Prague. Excellent decision. The food was excellent, the staff courteous, and a very nice place. I had a roasted pepper soup and the day’s fish special(a beautiful seared tuna). Overall, it was great. Only thing to bear in mind is, I wouldn’t classify this as Czech food. This restaurant could be anywhere in the world — and it would be great.

We made reservations at Field for our 1st lunch in Prague. We actually had to cancel and rebook the day of because we decided to sleep in but we still ended up having lunch at 1PM and were easily able to get a reservation. We walked to the restaurant from out hotel which was about 1 km away and were able to easily find it. We promptly sat down and after looking at their extensive menu, we decided to proceed with the tasting menu which took approximately 2 hrs to go thru about 10 courses. The food was some of the most creative food that we had seen, reminiscent of our experience at Next or Goosefoot. Our favorite items were the arctic char and the tomato roll with cheese. The waiter had mentioned it and so we were highly excited to try it. Its a bit hard to describe but its basically a roll of tomato«paper» with a consommé and some greens that were concentrated into a juice and served as icy bits. A fantastically tasty dish. The quail was very whimsical, being served a hot stone with liquid nitrogen. The service was fantastic. Our server was able to in detail describe each of the dishes to us and the dishes were promptly served and taken away. There was very little wasted time if any. And the tasting menu was 1950 Czech kroner so a very fair price, I’d say for the amount of food that we received. I’d definitely love to come back later to try a different tasting menu if its ever changed. Definitely one of the my favorite European dining experiences

This is easily one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. The food was delectable, the staff was attentive, and the atmosphere was lovely. Even though this ended up being one of our more expensive meals while in Prague(dinner for four with appetizers, drinks, and dessert), it wasn’t as expensive as Berlin or New York, and it was also our most memorable. If you are on the fence between Field and another 5 star restaurant, go with Field; you will not be disappointed.

My assessment: Un-F******-Believable. Get me? This place has been open only 8 months as of today and Field has NAILED it. The artistry is in league with our best restaurant experiences(like ALTURA in Seattle, Charleston in Baltimore, etc). We are visiting a Michelin rated restaurant tomorrow night and look forward to the comparison. My bet: for the price, Field can not be beat. Please do yourself a favor and find this place.

We really enjoyed their lunch menu. Great price on quality ratio. The best coffee I’ve had in Prague by a long run. Pea and bacony flavored ham soup was spot on. Red pepper sauce with the rolls and tuna tartare was a refreshing addition to the dish. Stewed beef was filling, melt in your mouth quality and my favorite of the afternoon. Nice atmosphere, perfect service and all round really nice restaurant we’ll be looking forwards to coming back to.
