First thing first, I made a reservation but didn’t stay at their hotel. I’m here to talk about their customer service. I was really excited for my trip to Turkey, so Kakakapi was one of those hotels I had booked for this trip. Most almost like one week after I got all the reservations nailed, news from all main stream media around the world talking about some Korean tourists got attacked because they were conceived as Chinese. I didn’t want to risk my safety for the trip, so I had no choice but to cancel all the reservation. The reservation process was very smooth, except for this hotel. First they denied they have any issues toward to Asians. After I cited the news from BBC and Yahoo news, I was told they can’t refund me anything, and news exaggerate every little things. If I could highlight my review, I would highlight my last sentence. I 5 star hotel told their customer hey you know all news are exaggerating? I can hardly believe this 5 star hotel does not put their customer’s concerns at first, they don’t even put their customer’s safety as their priority. They’d love to blind their customers. If we did go and get attacked, are you, Kayakapi, gonna take the responsibility? Anyways, if you want to trust a hotel who don’t have responsibility and don’t value customer’s safety, then choosing them probably is a good choice.

2 friends and I had reserved a room at Cappadocia Cave Hotel Suites and due to some error the reservation got messed up and booked as 2 people. The manager sorted out the issue with and very graciously gave us the best suite to apologize for the miscommunication and our time. The whole place was beautiful and they even helped us negotiate a better rate for a balloon ride! I would definitely recommend staying here!

Our second leg of our trip to Turkey brought us to Goreme for a visit of Cappadocia. We were looking to staying in a cave hotel room at Cappadocia Cave Suites. The hotel is set in on hill overlooking the scenic Goreme/Cappadocia area. Our Room 107, was a nice spacious suite with a good sized bathroom in front, a little sink area with a refrigerator and a nice-size bedroom with a sitting area. Each room has its own Wi-Fi router providing a strong complementary Wi-Fi connection.( )( ) The nice complimentary breakfast, consisting of cooked to order eggs and a nice spread of warm foods, breads, cheeses, fruits, juices, coffees and teas is served in the restaurant in the lower level.( )( ) Three blocks down the hill from the hotel is the main street where restaurants, shopping and Turkish baths are located. Also, two blocks up the hill from the hotel is a park/lookout area providing a beautiful panoramic view of the Goreme area and offers a great spot to view the sunset.( ) The office staff assisted us with hot air balloon ride bookings and printing boarding passes for our next leg of our trip. Overall, we had a great stay at Cappadocia Cave Suites. A unique beautiful stay in a cave hotel was a memorable experience. Friendly and helpful hotel staff.
