Dinler Hotels

The hotel is old-​fashioned, kind of dark. The room was clean. We stayed in two rooms because in the first one there was a leak in the bathroom. Guess what? There was a leak in the second one two. The reception speak basic English. The maintenance guy who came to fix the leak didn’t speak English.

Maybe 3.5 stars. Any way like Rene above alcohol does tend to pop up in my reviews. Strangely enough they make a good margarita ! They have a small pool which I used and nice views. The food is also pretty good. They have a buffet. Wifi was spotty but free. They also had a special on a local wine one night. Good place!

I’m a little stumped as some would file this as a three star, but I can see a few who would claim this as a four star. I’d probably split the difference and give it a 3 ½ but there are a few nuances that made my fingers give Dinler that elusive fourth star.
1. The breakfast/​dinner buffets famous French fries. Seriously these are some of the best you will find anywhere.
2. The views. Yes, amazing views from your room and even the ground floor but given you’re in Urgup in the heart of Cappadocia it’s not hard to find a great view.
3. The bar. Leave it to me to always include alcohol in my reviews. But this place can mix a good drink.
The service is excellent, but complimentary wifi is spotty at best.
