This is my go to place when I’m on the HWY in Alexandria and looking for a sandwich. The staff is friendly, the service is over the top good and the food is always fresh and tasty. My personal favorite is the Firehouse Hero with a touch of jalapenos paired with the quarter slice dill pickle. The Freestyle Coke machine adds enough variety that nearly everyone can find a selection to match their meal. My kids love the cookies and wide assortment of chips as well. Well done Pamela!

Great food, huge firehouse fan but this location just falls short. Staff is seriously undertrained. I would still suggest the place but check your takeout order before you leave!

Great subs, nice décor, less than friendly staff, 30 minute wait for 4 subs delivered one at a time.
This was our second visit, the first time it took 20 minutes for 2 subs to arrive, so they are getting faster.

The atmosphere was relaxed, clean, and fun. This was the first time I entered a Firehouse and I loved it. The employees were very informative about the sandwiches and were super nice. Great food and people.

Horrible Steak n Cheese sub. It was no better than Subways Steak n Cheese. Not to mention I asked for no mustard (who puts mustard on their S n C) and no green peppers. Well, I got mustard and they forgot to put onions. Steak was watery and cold. I will not be back to find out if they have other subs that are good. It was 8:30 and they close at 9. Maybe that’s why the customer service was rude and forgetful.

The owner gave my coworker and I red plastic firefighter hats. They are made of cheap plastic but the hats are super super super adorable. I work with small children so I know the hats will come into hand. The owner was super generous and welcoming!
This is a great place to get a quick and cheap meal and a cute plastic firefighter hat.
