Went out for a quick bite to eat with the girls and we decided to give Wegmans Pub a try. We shared the cheesy grits with chorizo with diced caramelized onions and it was really creamy & flavorful. I tried the blackened mahi tacos but I’m lettuce wrap vs the tortilla and it was very good. My friend got the crab cake sandwich on French brioche bread and she said it was good. Their fries are very tasty and not greasy at all. The chicken tenders isn’t bad at all. :). We tried the Flying Dog Agave ale and it was light and vey refreshing. Perfect for hot summer and to end the day! Our server was the best ever. He was so polite it made me just want to start acting more like him. If you ever go to Wegmans Pub, ask for Austin as your server. Kindness is very contagious:)

We really enjoyed the experience! Service good. Prices good for what you get. The kids meal is a fabulous deal and they accommodated a change in drinks for my type 1 diabetic child. The grilled fish tacos were decent. Only suggestion would be to have a grilled chicken or fish option for kids. It’s the typical burger, chicken tender macaroni and fried fish menu for kids and I wouldn’t have been as happy had they not offered nice veggies and a fruit option for dessert. BUT the fish at least wasn’t Gordon’s. It was real haddock and a thick piece and very juicy.

The food is ok I suppose… I was expecting a lot more from Wegmans. My biggest gripe is that they did not offer mash potato on the menu. To explain this further I wanted to try the steak, however the only options were green veggies. Now some people may enjoy a steak with veggies, but mash potatoes and gravy are a must . The server was nice and attentive no complaints there . I had the French dip which was ok. Portion size was fine but it was just standard nothing special . I just hoped for a little more in terms of menu options and quality.

Lovely when the bartender sneezes in her hands and then doesn’t wash them and then puts away clean glasses. Someone needs a sanitation class.

So it’s oyster week at the pub. I’ve been to Wegmans many times butI have never ventured on to this side or even been in the pub. It’s a tiny little restaurant off to the side. There’s a bar and then seating all along the outer wall. We got there at 8:30. It closes at 9 Monday thru Thursday. The hostess quickly seated us and told us we would have time to order. They were very nice and helpful explaining the different daily specials. So for oyster week it’s a buck a shuck. Pretty decent deal. They only had one kind of oyster in that night. Couldn’t really understand our waitress she had a slight accent. We ordered a dozen to start, the oyster stew and an order of fries for the baby. The oysters came out within 10 min. Not too bad. The fries and soup took a little while longer. The oysters were actually very good. Very fresh. The oyster stew was OK. It consisted of a creamy broth. Kind if like clam chowder. Not worth $ 8. They had a pretty decent looking menu. We might come back and try other things since it’s so close by. Service needs a little work. We kept having to flag her down. To get things or ask the table runners because we couldn’t find her. It was close to closing time so I’ll let that slide this time. The oyster deal was good. For the pricing and freshness I’d come back if they did that again definitely.

Ugh bad service can ruin an otherwise okay dining experience. I’ve been to The Pub a few times and while the food is OK– a solid 3 stars, the service from one particular waitstaff name Rose is particularly distasteful. Rose was our server on two occasions and both left a lot to be desired. –she brought out the wrong dishes –when we told her what we should have received instead she started walking away while we were still talking –never once checked on our food or refills(I tried to flag her down a few times bc our drinks were empty. One of those times she looked right at me then turned away) –never brought out the condiments we requested –always appeared annoyed and impatient. I regret tipping her the 15% as she really deserved 0%. You should not be in the service industry with such poor attitude and people skills. I probably won’t go back to this Pub location bc these experiences left a bad taste and I don’t want to chance having the same server again.

Great burgers! We have eaten here a few times now, always order the burgers… they are tasty and the fries are delicious as well. The service, staff, and atmosphere are excellent. The beer is cold, but I’m still working through the local brews on tap.

I really really really wanted to like this place because it’s such a closer alternative than the Whole Foods restaurant location in Fair Lakes. However. I was sorely disappointed with the food and the upcharged prices for even their burgers was wildly confusing. I opted for the PEI mussels and my fiancé got their Saturday Prime Rib special. I was excited because a mussels dish is so basic and so easy that I figured their beer infused broth was about to be bomb. Nope. It lacked any type of depth of flavor, no seasoning, and some of the mussels were way to raw and fishy for my liking. Even the bread that came out with the mussels were like a hard crostini slash crunch biscuit. Why!!! The whole point of bread with mussels is to soak up the juice! My fiancé’s prime rib was all right. A little overcooked and not warm so it was basically not that great. The best part of the meal was probably the complimentary bread and garlic infused olive oil. Probably would not come back here except for the decently priced beers… but I could just buy a six pack and go home and eat a delicious dinner with a cheap beer. Ugh. So disappointed Wegmans! I guess I’m still a whole foods fangirl.

First, I am a huge fan of Wegmans and their products. The pub is a nice perk of the store. I do enjoy their food, especially the burgers and fish tacos. The waitstaff is very nice, but the service is sooo slow(both the food coming out of the kitchen and the service). I thought that this may be rectified after an initial trial period– unfortunately it has not. So, if the service improves, I would give the Pub about 3.5÷4 stars.

Surprisingly good for being in a grocery store, though can’t say too surprised because it is Wegmans! They have a limited menu, most items we have had we liked. Their lobster week specials were very good. I really wish they would sell their Yuengling Cheese dip though! It is amazing. I also like that their mixed drinks change based on the season.

We love coming to The Pub at Wegman’s! This is our third time coming here, and each time Rose has been great. We can be a bit picky with our food and drink requests, but she handles each request with a smile and delivers exactly what we’ve requested(especially my not-too-sweet mojitos). Even though our visits are months apart, she remembers how to make our drinks just right. We look forward to our next visit!

As another Unilocaler mentions, this is basically Wegmans’ ready made items just served to you restaurant style(at a slightly higher price point) and with a smile. The food is fine, if you like Wegmans pre-made stuff this is just as good. The restaurant is kind of dimly lit and they have bistro seating, so it feels like it’s trying to be something other than I restaurant within a grocery store. But at the end of the day it still is what it is. I don’t think I’d go out of my way for it, but it’s not bad either. Plus the servers are sweet as can be-just as you’d expect from the Wegmans brand.

The food was actually very good. I had the lobster roll and both it and the accompanying fries were quite good. Though I’m sure there is mayonnaise in the lobster, you really wouldn’t notice it. It’s mostly chunks of lobster with finely chopped celery. My husband’s fish sandwich was also good. The service was decent, not great, but the server was pleasant and we didn’t wait long for our food. The prices are a bit high in my opinion. Our meal, with a 20% tip came out to $ 53. Not awful, but a bit high for two sandwiches, a glass of beer and a glass of wine inside a grocery store. Oh, there was also live music in the food court area just outside the restaurant and the guy was actually pretty good. The restaurant turned off their sound system when he started playing and it was kind of nice. Weird. But nice.

I don’t know why the reviews are so low, maybe I ordered their one good item, I’m not sure. But I actually liked it a lot! I didn’t give it 5 stars because it’s in a shopping area and I didn’t like how it was a pub, yet a nice sit down area, so it was kind of confusing what ambience they wanted to give it. I would have rather they picked one type of dining and stuck with it. My other small problem would be the fact that I thought the prices were just the slightest bit too high. I ordered the PEI Mussels. They were pretty good, the sauce/seasoning was typical and there was nothing really special about it. The mussels were all cooked which was good and I liked how there was a lot of them. The bread that went with them wasn’t good at all, but it was mostly focused on the mussels. My friend ordered the burger. It was huge! He said he liked it and he didn’t get sick so I guess it was a good day. I thought the burger looked huge! My only cons would be again, the price. They only had lettuce, cheese and tomatoes in the burger. I worked at a restaurant where they put in onions, mushrooms and bacon for the same price so I might just be used to that. The one thing I did really like were the fries. They had some different seasoning and I really enjoyed them! I usually don’t like fries so I was really surprised! They also gave a really good portion of fries too. All in all, I probably won’t go back because I would rather go to a real restaurant, but it was nice to try and it did beat my expectations. I didn’t think it would be good at all, but it turned out to be pretty good!

We had wanted to try this for a while but wanted to let the«Wegnman’s excitement» die down before venturing to the Pub. My advice? Don’t bother. A nice idea is spoiled by the fact that you are regularly reminded that you are in a grocery store. The tables are FAR too close together and the openings that allow you to see people coming and going(and people squinting in the windows to look at the TV sets above the bar) do not make for a pleasant dining experience. The food was simply OK. My husband never was offered a refill on his water. Service seemed slow for a Sunday evening. Portions were large(too large). We won’t be back.

This is an alright place, and a valiant effort; however, I wasn’t completely taken with the food. The food menu is smallish, and it is heavy on appetizers and sandwiches. I very much enjoyed the«Tuscan Fries»(basically rosemary fries), and also had nicely pickled coleslaw. The fried fish in my fish and chips was terrible though — it was impressively large but well over fried, and both the fish(haddock) and the batter were generally flavorless. There’s a decent beer and wine selection. And the prices are good overall. The Pub has a comfortable, neighborhood atmosphere, but somewhat tight quarters in the bar area. The staff is warm, friendly, knowledgeable, and patient.

Surprised there was a full bar restaurant inside the store. There is a fixed menu and specials that rotate depending on the day. The fish tacos were good… three tacos, instead of two, and a good amount of fish.

Alright so I have dined at the Wegmans Pub before in PA, specifically the King of Prussia location. Service there was excellent and the food was delicious considering the fact your dining in a grocery store. However my experience at this Wegmans was sub-par. My party visited during Oyster week to take advantage of the buck a shuck deal. On the Oyster week menu you get an option of fresh oysters, oyster stew, or oyster poboy. It happened that we chose to dine in on Tuesday which was also Lobster day. The table ordered 36 oysters(all blue points because they ran out of the other one) total. My girlfriend and I ended up splitting a dozen of the oysters and an oyster poboy. Other people at the table got oyster stew, lobster roll, lobster fries, and fish tacos. The oysters took close to 45 minutes to come out to the table. Keep in mind the restaurant was not busy at all so I have no idea why it took so long to shuck 36 oysters. The quality of the oyster was decent. The oyster poboy cost $ 18, which in my opinion overpriced. The fried oyster did not even taste like oysters, I felt like I was just eating fried bread crumbs in a sandwich with lettuce tomato and a heavy serving of mayo. If you dine in for Oyster week definitely skip the poboy. The lobster fries came with barely any lobster so this was a rip off as well. Overall the trend here seems to be low quantity amount of food for a high price. Honestly if I just came here and got only the oysters I would have been content in terms of the food. But to top off the poor food quality the service at this Wegmans is lacking. The waitress disappeared and did not check up on my table until we were ready to get the check. The food takes forever to come out. I’m skeptical on returning for another meal here.

Er… okay. Why does it take 40+ minutes for a couple dozen oysters to come out of the kitchen? And then another 25 minutes for the actual entrees to come out? Will C. and I visited Wegmans Pub for their buck-a-shuck oyster special. Our table ordered some oysters to start and the wait was painstakingly longggggg, which was odd considering the fact that the restaurant, while relatively busy, was by no means packed to the brim. Service in general was just really shoddy and slow. The food was just edible enough. Will C. and I split a dozen Blue Point oysters and an oyster po’boy. The oysters were quite fresh and tasted just fine, however, the most redeeming part of the po’boy was the barbeque sauce… yes, the barbeque sauce that you dip your fries in. The bread was somehow buttery and stale at the same time, and the po’boy itself was dripping in mayo. I’ve been to Wegmans Pub before and this probably won’t be my last time frequenting this establishment, but goodness I just can’t get over the colossal waste of time this entire meal was. #byefelicia

I received a coupon for the Pub so I decided to give this place a try since I regularly shop at Wegmans. My husband had been here when they first opened and he thought the food was blah. His co-workers thought the same as well. Since it has been a few months since they opened, I figure that they might have gotten better. I stopped in for lunch with my husband. I had the fish sandwich and the hubby had the hamburger. My fish was blah. I could hardly taste the seasoning on the fish. The only flavor that I could taste was from the sauce. My husband thought the hamburger was okay. We both thought that the fried were really good. It could have been better if they toasted the brioche buns as well. Service was okay. Our server did what was expected of a server so it was fine. I think that you can get better and cheaper food by purchasing one of those pre-packaged meals, heat it up, and eat it in the dining area.

I came here late one Sunday evening(about 9pm) after visiting Fair Winds Brewing Co. I had to get some grocery shopping done, but needed to fill my belly first. I was sat immediately upon walking up to the hostess stand. Then, a friendly server greeted me and got me a glass of water. The bacon cheddar burger looked good, and I ordered it cooked medium(yay irridated meat)! My food was served shortly afterwards… the fries were delicious and the burger was even better. Seriously, it was one of the better burgers I’ve had in a long time. Really, this was a great experience and I’ll come back for sure. The only thing I really wasn’t happy with was the beer selection. I hope they eventually make room or replace a lot of the beer they have with local craft brews! I’m not sure if they have a selection of bottled beer, but it would be great if they served a wide variety of local stuff in proper glassware! :)

Just recently found out about the wegmans in Kingstown and was surprised to hear about The Pub so of course I had to give it a try. Came on a Saturday afternoon and was happy there was only a five minute wait. Free bread was actually soft and good while we waited for our meal. Had the fish tacos with fries. Fish was not dry at all and the sauce that was on it was definitely tasty! I also loved the fries — crispy with rosemary. So good. There were three tacos which was more than I could eat even though I went in starving. There were many tvs at the bar which can be seen while seated at many of the tables as well. This is a great spot to leave your guy while grocery shopping and then have the muscle to help carry groceries to the car. :) There was also a guitarist playing live tunes which added to an entertaining environment. Since I was only there to eat quickly before shopping I didn’t get a chance to experiment with the beers; however, I’m sure I will be needing groceries in the future so will try to return to explore the drink menu. Decent prices and I like having an option for a solid meal so I’m not grocery shopping on an empty stomach! I shall return!

Could Wegmans get any better? The good: Convenient location right inside a Wegmans makes this place an ideal stop off. If you’re looking for something(slightly) fancier than the usual offerings(salad bar, sandwich bar, pizza bar, etc.) than this is a good option for you. The menu has enough variety to suit nearly anyone’s tastes. You can expect the usual pub food(burgers) along with some healthier alternatives. I’m not sure why the other reviewers didn’t have a positive experience here. I thought the food was actually really good — perhaps they just needed to work out some kinks in the first few weeks of operation. The bad: My oh my those tables are tiny. There was no way we could fit drinks, bread, and an appetizer on the table. And once our entrees came out we actually had to put some of the dishes from our tables onto a nearby shelf area! Four of five because of the good food and friendly service, but get some bigger tables!

I grocery shop a wegmans at least once a week and have been wanting to try the pub. My husband & I figured we would check it out. Service was very prompt and was constantly bringing us refills. We started off with the bavarian pretzel which I wasn’t very excited to order, but when it came I am glad we did. The pretzel was warm and soft… sooo good! I had the French dip which was wonderful. The meat was very tender and the portion was just right. My husband had the cheeseburger and said it was delicious and cooked to perfection. Did I mention the fries… OMG they are so good. They were crispy and garlicky.

Wegmans has a pub inside their grocery store. It’s a cozy place and not as loud as you’d think being in the best grocery store in the area. The food are«snacks» and sandwiches and a handful of entrees and salads. There are four vegetarian dishes and unique recipes like gyro turkey burger, spicy tuna martini(what I ordered) szechuan eggplant lettuce wraps lobster mac and cheese and a host of traditional pub food like fish and chips, burger, wings etc They have a full bar with 8 craft draught selections with two tvs with sports. The place seats about 60. There was a wait for tables around 6pm on a Thursday. But they take reservations through Open Table and you can get on a list and go grocery shopping with a buzzer so you don’t have to wait around. They are not doing a happy hour yet but I only paid $ 4 for a beer and most of the food items are around $ 10 The tuna martini was amazing but the turkey gyro was over cooked and not up to expectation. Still I ate it all and will definitely be back to try more items on the menu. The guy sitting next to me said the fish tacos were good but not as good as he has had at jr shuckers in Delaware The lettuce wraps are ok but I couldn’t taste the Szechuan. I should also point out the staff were all five stars. Sarah Dabney and Brandon were extremely well trained and eager to please.
