Popeye’s

Great food and great staff. Went for lunch on Tuesday sept 15^th around 4:30 with my girl friend she had never had Popeye’s before but she certainly will again. Thank you you for the great experience.

Cold/​Bland food. This was my first experience with Popeyes and it just might be my last! Disappointing.

No greetings anymore.
Mistake on every order. My daughter ordered 2 mild pcs but they gave her spicy. I ordered 3pcs but they gave me 2 pcs (a tiny wing and a middle size breast).
I used to love them but they have completely changed.
I’m not sure what’s going on with their management but I’m sure there are some issues for their training program.

Let me start by saying I LOVE Popeyes chicken… but.
I’ve been to this store 6 times in the past few months and my wife and I order the same thing every time (3 pc mild wing diner and chicken strips) and 5 of the 6 times they are out of either the wings or the sauce for the strips. I gave them the benefit of doubt the first two times but have left after canceling my order the past 3 times and go straight to KFC down the road.
I could understand this happening on occasion if they were busy but they were not busy during any of my visits. The standard response is «wings are a popular item», «we can cook some if you want to wait 12 minutes» or «it’s not our fault we’re out of sauce the regional manager orders it for the store». So, I ask the fundamental question, who managers a fast food chicken restaurant that never has 3 wings ready and is always running out of sauces? I will not return to this location until I hear they are under new management.

Love that chicken from Popeye’s. I have never had an issue here, either with the food or the service. I have stopped by for lunch, and to pick up to take home for dinner. It’s hard to believe some of the comments I have been reading. Someone mentioned the skin color of the staff. Really?
Is it cheap? No, but neither is Bojangles. Is it quick? No, but I don’t mind waiting for hot freshly cooked chicken. Is the staff top notch? No, it’s fast food. But if you’re looking for spicy, finger lickin good chicken (I hope that isn’t a trade marked phrase), this is the place for you.

Their Biscuits are so tiny, prices are too high, they don’t have surf & turf anymore thats not good.

My wife just got back from picking up a three piece meal at Popeye’s. She waited approximately 30 minutes in the drive-​thru. When she got to the window to receive her order the individual working the window informed her they didn’t have any of the pieces she wanted in any style. How it’s possible that in the amount of time people had to wait nobody could manage to make enough of the food people were ordering I have no idea. It seems pretty apparent that this relatively new location is poorly run. I recommend staying as far away as possible.

First time at this location. Took the drive-​thru, ordered a #12 with fries. The food was fine –the seasonings aren’t my cup of tea. The employees were nice, the prices fair, and the service quick.

I’ve been to this location twice since they opened, both times via the drive-​thru route. It’s a Popeye’s, just like any other one I’ve ever been to. That means better than Bojangles fried chicken with better quality sides.
My only complaint was getting home after the first visit to find they gave me green beans instead of the Cajun Rice I ordered.
Based on the other two reviews so far, sounds like I’m better off sticking with the drive-​thru though!

When this restuarant first opened I made the mistake of going right before Christmas on a Saturday. The line for the drive thru was around the building and it was standing room only in the dining room. This is a good sign… people wanting to eat here. WRONG After waiting almost an hour to get our food, not only was the food wrong but cold and just plain not good.
Fast forward 1 ½ months. I decided to give Popeye’s another chance. I went inside and there was 2 people ahead of me. It was still confusion about the order. After waiting 10 minutes and seeing things I never want to see in a fast food restaurant, I asked for my money back.
A lady was given her food. She opened the box and with her finger, moved the food around. Told the counter person that was not the food she ordered. The counter person then took the chicken (which had been delieverd to the customer and touched by the customer) and put it back on the rack of chicken to be given to another customer. When this was pointed out to the counter person, her reply was… I used the tongs. She then told the kitchen help who proceeded to move the chicken rack from one position to another. Making it appear that the chicken that had been given to the customer was not back with the other chicken. A man came back into Popeye’s and gave the box of chicken back to the counter person and said that was not what he ordered. He wanted mild and received spicy. This chicken was also put back onto the rack of chicken to be re-​served to a customer and my order was given to this man,
At this point, I asked for a refund from the manager because I will not eat at this Popeye’s… you don’t know how many times it has been served to someone.
I have to put a star but as you can tell… this Popeye’s does not deserve even one star
