Sonic

Stopped and splurged on a large oreo blast, got home and might as well ordered a vanilla shake. I think they must put in one oreo cookie. Won’t be back, plenty other options.

Went for dinner on Saturday night and ended up leaving frustrated.
Pulled to to Drive In Order Board. Problem is with the guard at the end of the parking space, you can’t order from car. You have to get out.
Next after you review menu and make your selection, the LED next to the card reader says «Internet Signal Lost» In other words, you can’t order.
No one around to take your order. No personal interacation, No people involved so I will extract one person from the transaction … ME

This location is so, freaking, slow and they’ve messed up my order 3 times out 4 so far. Definitely not the REAL Sonic experience.

Staff is always friendly. Standard fast food fare
A bit overpriced. Like you order a few menu items to make your meal it’s almost always over $ 10. Once again in this price range pay just a couple bucks more and your at a sit down restaurant. Too pricey for fast food. Its good but nothing exceptional

Food took forever, it came out cold and it tasted horrible. Never will return here. One out of five stars from me.

For a sonic it is one of the better ones. Fast friendly service. The food food has never been bad and with 5 Kids it a great fun place to eat. Who doesn’t like having food brought to your by car hops?

The sweet potato bites are DELICIOUS! I will be a fan and stop by Sonic whenever I see one. They cost a good penny, but are worth every cent! The other food was good too but cannot compare to my sweet potato bites!
The ordering process is great but the menu and buttons are too close to the front curb making it difficult to reach and get your food. The menu is varied so everyone in your party can pretty much come away with something they want to eat including chicken breast options. That is a definitely plus!

This Sonic is always great! Every time I’m in Mooresville, I have to go there. They move quickly, the food is always hot and great and the staff members are nice! I absolutely love Sonic!

Stopped in during a late lunch on a Sunday afternoon & it was pretty hoppin’!
I’ve been here several times & this location has been there for I’d say, 5+ years, so they have a good thing going. Their menu is extensive, they have something for everyone.
On my normal visits, I go between the BLT Toaster sandwich & the Bacon Cheeseburger toaster & tots or onion rings. Sunday, I had the BLT & onion rings, along with a cherry limeade. I waited only a couple of minutes for my food to arrive. The onion rings were rather crispy, I only ate a few. The BLT was loaded with lettuce & only had two small tomatoes, & a couple of pieces of bacon. The bread was lightly toasted, but wasn’t really toasted — it was really soft. Now, the cherry limeade was divine! I probably could have had another one of those.
I very well could have had an off day. But the pluses were, friendly, fast service & a clean parking lot.

I grew up (way back in the stone age) when Lenoir had one of the few of Sonics in NC. It was a treat to go with my parents and grandparents to order the #1 or #2. ;) If anyone on here remembers that I’m call you out as OLDER THAN DIRT. (just like me).
Anyway, The memories are great, but on this occasion (actual visit was last Thursday evening) the food was forgettable. :(Great thunderstorm that night, and got our food in the car and watched the lightening. Then rushed home for pepcid pills. :(Sorry, Sonic.
You still have the BEST ICE EVER, though! ;)

Better than your average fast food joint, Sonic has nice breakfast choices that are available all day, tho for some reason, the toast never really gets crispy… not sure why that is but it’s a minor inconvenience. If you induldge in a BLT or B/​E/​C sammie, you’ll be pleasantly surprised by how much B they include.
The burgers really are good, the toppings seem more crisp and fresh than other fast food joints (excluding sit down fast joints such as Five Guys). They have aa nice variety of sides if you want something other than fries. The rings are pretty good.
During the summer you can’t go wrong during happy hour. 100s of drink combos, from slushies to creamsicle type things to shakes. You can also enjoy a good old suicide (think Jr. High… mixing all the sodas at the fountain) but refills are hard to come by so order a large if you have the thirst of a camel. The carhops are efficient and sweet but this place does get busy and they don’t always have time to return for a check-​in. My niece car-​hopped here a few years ago so please, be kind, tip these kids; they work long hours with aching feet in whatever mother nature throws at them.

Stopped on way home during vacation. They got our order right on the first try! The food was fresh and good. The only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars is the location. It was not easy to turn left to get out of their driveway and back on the highway. The locals probably know how to get around that, though. The banana split is worth any parking/​driveway hassle, though.
