This is a great place for drinks and appetizers. You can also have the whole dinner menu of you ask the bartender. Try the draft wines they are a great bargain and are really delicious fresh wines. Service can be slow if this place gets really busy.

Super great bar tenders and staff upstairs at the Cattleman’s Lounge. Drinks are made as awesome as the food. Unlike many other local places where you get watered down drinks(by corporate policy) and mediocre food. Once or twice a month we spend hours getting away from it all«just down the street from home». Fun, relaxing and revitalizing.

This cocktail lounge is in the Paso Robles Inn, on the second floor. I was in town for a wedding and stopped by for a nightcap. The crowd was decidedly local. And what a bunch of colorful characters! Staff was friendly and the pours were generous. I’ll be back next time in town.

We are recent transplants back to Paso Robles. Cattlemen’s is always a great place to meet new people as well as locals, and the location is very convenient walking distance to downtown. HOWEVER, we love the friendly staff… the gals are always fun… but WHO picked those ‘uniforms’? They look like bowling shirts! It’s CATTLEMEN’S for Pete’s sake! While it’s nice they are at least DRESSED… maybe some nice, more FEMININE scoop necked shirts(no, cleavage not necessary)…jeans…whatever! This is a more upscale environment and those poor servers look like they had to grab shirts out of someone else’s laundry. Come on… put a little CLASS in their look!

We are locals and this is a regular spot for us. We come here in the evenings for the drinks and nachos(excellent). We come here for Sunday football. We always receive great food and down-home service. Sitting on the balcony on a Friday evening watching Spring Street is loads of fun.

SO, let’s start this off by saying that this old-school, down-home, home-town Inn sports bar and lounge is pretty damn cool… excellent bartenders and the bar food fare is amazing! HOWEVER(ah, there’s always a damn caveat!), the management is making a huge mistake in not scheduling enough staff on a very busy football Sunday!!! This poor waitress/bartender Makena is running herself ragged in a room and bar full of people ordering drinks and food trying to make everyone happy and is doing an amazing job but… REALLY?! I would quit!!!

A little pricey on a standard margarita, the live music on Saturday night is a huge plus, otherwise this review would be three stars. Bartender was nice, however, not super attentive. Small but cute outdoor patio upstairs — but despite what Unilocal says, you cannot smoke on the balcony.

Nice variety in the menu. We came here for lunch the day after a wedding… 10 of us. Service was great, food good. I subtracted one star for only one reason: it was FREEZING in the restaurant. I had a jacket and a sweater in the car, and I donned both. I was wearing a sundress as it was 90 degrees out. But why 90 below inside? I was half way through my meal and my food got cold. We all don’t order salads on hot days!

Fun place towards the end of the night(for old people like me that go to bed at 12). The staff was all really nice and welcoming. It’s upstairs from the Paso Robles Inn. There’s a dining area and a bar. We sat at the bar. There were a couple of younger locals that chatted with us while we drank. I felt comfortable and there wasn’t any annoying karaōke happening. Nice!

Love the signature cocktails. I had the pleasure of being at a party hosted by Martin Resorts and was introduced to the«Fresh Start» which is quite refreshing. This time I tried their take on the Old Fashioned and it was very good! Happy hour is all day Wednesday which means $ 1 off bottle and well drinks. I didn’t see any food specials, but we ordered the nachos which were pretty good. Looking forward to coming back and trying something new.

as a local I visit this place about once a month for multiple reasons. The food has become considerable better over the last couple of years and its downtown Paso, but with parking. They have internet, kid friendly, usually decent service, a fire place for cooler days and a TON of history, which just makes this place feel comfy. More casual than the steakhouse downstairs, but with all the same good offerings.

After a full day of wine tasting, an excellent dinner and three other bars, my group ended up here for some country music and cheap booze. A bit of an older crowd with a really laid back atmosphere. Lots of people sitting at actual tables and a very small dance floor for the few of you that like to twirl. A fun end to our night !

We stopped in on our way to Santa Barbara. The service from Kayla was right on. The grilled artichoke and cheese plate was absolutely fabulous. The rooms with the spa’s are all newly carperted and newley remodeling as i type. Coming back to stay here.

One of the top spots in town to have a decent time.
