IHOP

Over priced! They give you very little food for the price. I ordered an extra egg and they for got to add it to my order, when I asked them about forgetting the egg they told me it was there. Either there portions are very small or they lied because they’re to lazy to undo there mistake. Today was my last day going to IHop.

If I could put zero stars I would !!! HORRIBLE SERVICE !!! Took us 30min to place our order and 45min to get our food! At this point my kids are fussy and my toddler is screaming. our server only checked on us once when she came to bring us our check! We witnessed a few walk outs! And we wondered why… Well now we know ! Maybe it was the short staff since there wasn’t even a cashier at the front ! But please avoid ! Ur better off going some where else, San Pedro is known for all their great breakfast Spots my kids just asked for ihop that’s why we went.

This place is actually 2 stars because the service is generally slow and nonexistent. The only reason why I’m rounding up is because as an overall chain, it a good place to get decent pancake variety and there is a good range of food options.
The last couple of times I’ve come here, the service was pretty slow. Well, the last time I visited, the actually got better when the server saw my Unilocal app open. Oh how interesting! And no, I didn’t do that on purpose… I was merely checking in. However, it is interesting how personalities and services change once they realize they could get reviewed!
Anyway, the food is ok. Not amazing, but ok. For those who like to stay within chain restaurants and reliable food, this is the place to go. The pancakes don’t taste like cardboard which you’ll find at Denny’s. There’s variety in their pancakes and syrups.

Small, and old, the parking lot is Hard to get in and out of but the food is decent and up to the quality of other IHOP’s we’ve patronized, as with most chains it is hard to exceed expectations with the food and this location was average, nothing special in the way of the food or the service. We were not neglected nor overly pampered. So a solid 3 stars is in order.

Love coming here whenever I feel like breakfast food any time of the day! Good food that hits the heart.

It’s just breakfast food… rt? Well we came in with a party of 16 of which 6 were kids and babies. We had complicated orders and moved around our seating and ANTONIA was AWESOME!!! Forget that your at IHOP, she took care of us better then clock work and went over the top to make sure we got everything we wanted. She made our experience so good and easy! Portions seemed bigger as well and yes it’s just breakfast but the service is what I’m reviewing and it WAS NEAR PERFECT! Thanks Antonia

I think it’s difficult to mess up breakfast food. I’ve yet to experience a restaurant with bad breakfast food.
My kids and I love IHOP. Especially this location. Partly because we always come during the week because we know better than to come on a weekend. Y’all know that nonsense is gonna get you in a bad mood, the wait alone will get anyone cranky! Basically, the main reason we love this IHOP so much is the service. Timeliness from taking our order, preparing and serving to our table is impressive. No time is wasted here. Drinks are always topped off and I don’t know why but I’m really fond of their coffee.
I love that they have breakfast specials because I can really get down with some breakfast food. Basics are perfect. Bacon, eggs, sausage, hash browns, pancakes, waffles. Everything basic. Then they’ve got the seasonal pancakes/​waffles with fruit or some kind of delicious topping, plus different flavored syrups. I am now craving breakfast food at 11:42 PM. Great.
Private lot. Located off Western in the beautiful city of Palos Verdes. Will definitely return, again and again and again.

Love this IHOP. We come here every once in a while and always have a positive experience. Last time though, we had a waitress named ruby. She was one of the best servers we ever had. She kept coming by asking us if we needed anything which I like a lot. She’s also very outgoing and always has a smile. I stopped by a couple weeks ago hoping for her to serve my best friend and I but sadly, it must’ve been her day off): haha anyway, love the food here. I never had any bad experience and love that they play oldies.

Normally, even when it’s packed, I don’t complaint about this place, but today was the exception… today the place was empty, and first of all, no me was at the counter greeting and seating the ppl, we stand over 3 minutes til the busboy came and sat us… waitress took our order quick, my eggs came out, but she forgot to bring me my French toast until my middle of my finished breakfast, and of course, they were cold, my son finished his drink and it was refill until he called the busboy, finally the air conditioning was highly cold… not a good experience today!

I love this IHOP! Anyone that complains about the service has not had Kelley as thier server. The kitchen also kicks out the food dang fast. It’s tasty, the people are super friendly. If anyone has clown issues do not go on a Sat or Sun or get past that sort of nonsense.

Service is always amazing, everyone is very nice. Never had a bad experience with my food, it is always good. Coffee is amazing too.

Bad service. The food is just ok. The pancakes tend to be either over cooked or undercooked. Had to flag another server down for ketchup and hot sauce. Service made it a poor experience and would rather go to anthor diner than this place again.

This is an ok spot for breakfast. The kitchen seems to run a bit slow in getting the food out. Decent service and good value.

This has to be the worst ihop around when it comes to service they need to fire everybody in this place and get new management! I went to this dump hole this morning and waited nearly 30min for breakfast with it not even being crowded. Eggs and beacon come on!!! Really!!!

The food was amazing and the service was spectacular!!! Our waitress was Kelly and she was on point and beyond at providing an amazing service. She was friendly and really made you feel at home. She made sure we had everything we needed. The food was also great. My family loves it here :)

The review here is more on the service than the food. Me and my mom will come here and we are in the mood for pancakes. We love our blueberry pancakes. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted warmly and immediately shown to our table. The busboy took our drinks order and our server showed up right after to take our food order. Coffee and drinks was given quick. My coffee was a little sweet but Laurel added more coffee, which made it more palatable.
The food was ok. You can not really go wrong with pancakes, eggs, hashbrown, and sausage. We were hungry so I was happy that it took only a little time for the food to show up. We tried the blueberry pancake special with cannoli cream. I like the orginal blueberry pancakes better. You do not need syrup though since it is already sweet enough.
Our server was so sweet. She kept checking on us to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. The busboy refilled our water and coffee without even being asked. The location is smaller than other IHOP’s but I guess that is why the service was better than the other locations.
Parking is small but it is not hard to find parking. After you fill up, cross the street to do some window shopping to burn some calories!

Small place but very quiet which is good. The food is good and the customer service is great, they’re constantly checking to see if you need anything. There’s alot of parking and most of the time it’s pretty empty. Great place to have breakfast with the family!

Service is excellent and the food is, well, decent for an IHOP. Coffee is typical for chain diner-​type coffee.
Ordinarily it’s hard to justify coming to *any* IHOP location, but given the neighborhood this one is in, if you want a morning breakfast that’s better than fast food but shy of going to the store and frying up your own bacon, eggs, and mixing your own pancakes, this is one of the only places in the area.

Not a big IHOP location. Parking lot is kind of twisted and small, but you’ll survive.
Food is okay as expected, although the portion sizes were smaller than what I remember. Service is fast and friendly. There’s a short wait for weekend brunch time.

Never been a big fan of IHOP. Their breakfast seems kind of bland for me. Having said that, this place is OK. It’s got that traditional A-​shaped roof that comes all the way down and this makes the place kind of narrow inside.
The parking lot is small. The building is old. I suppose if you can’t find a nice mom & pop in the area (there are many in San Pedro), this place will do.
