We were a group of five and got the sweet banana, strawberries and pears crepes, all of which were excellent! Perfect snack after a hard day’s work!

The crepes are delicious and reasonably priced! I had the chocolate Nutella and banana which was awesome! If you like crepes this is a great place to try.

Not my first visit, won’t be my last! I feel in love with crepes on a childhood visit to France, watching the man wheel up a cart then make delicious sweet crepes, full of nutella, banana and marshmallow, what’s not to like! When I worked in the city centre, I used to visit the store on St. Enochs square(now Nic NYC Deli) and fell head over heels for their Chicken Pesto and Emmental crepes. And so I had another. Kirsty ordered the ham and cheese(another fav) and it’s here we hit on the downside. They are too filling to have two and the board is full of wonderful sweet options(or perhaps we are just too sensible? nahhhhh!). The staff are friendly, and whilst it’s a little run-down inside, the food is pretty damn tasty. It could be better, a lot of the fillings are processed but as the crepes are made fresh you soon forget that! They have a good range of beverages too, root beers, and other delights, so it’s worth a look if you fancy something a bit different. I was sorry to see the store in the city centre close, I hope the West End patrons can keep this one open!

The coffee is very good. The crêpe, which is more like a pancake because it’s so thick, is alright. I had the Hurricane Ham, it was alright. However, the prices are pretty steep considering what you’re paying for, so I wouldn’t make this place a regular. Staff are all friendly!

Usually when I get a crêpe, my complaint is that there isn’t enough filling. I’m not here to eat a plain crêpe, I’m here for filling that is barely contained by a crêpe. I didn’t have any problems with the Nutella, marshmallow, and cream filling of the crêpe I got from Crêpe a Croissant, but sadly I did have a problem with the crêpe itself. It was incredibly chewy and I had a hard time even cutting it. If the crêpe had been a bit thinner and easier to eat, this easily could have been four stars. Really, anything with Nutella and marshmallows could easily get four stars. But it was just too much work for me. I wouldn’t be opposed to trying again some other time to see if I just got an unfortunate crêpe, but probably not any time soon.

I was needing some breakfast before I had an appointment in town. My man’s not that keen on here but we needed somewhere close and something quick so Crêpe á Crossiant it was. I like it in there, I’ve had a couple of savoury crêpes from there before and they have been delicious, always too much to finish though. I’ve also had the savoury crossiants too. Noms! I had never tried their breakfasts before, so wanted to see what delights I would get with their £3.50 breakfast until 12pm. I ordered a pot of tea and a roll and link sausage with ketchup and my man had his with coffee. It wasn’t too busy so grabbed ourselves a wee seat and our breakfast delights were brought over to us. Well it was mighty mighty tasty. Mmmm! The roll and sausage was beautiful, I was rolling out them yummy noises like no tomorrow. The tea washed it down well, there was enough for another cup but alas I had to make my way to my appointment. Staff pleasant, food good and not too expensive. I must try a sweet crêpe one of these days but I fear once on your lips, forever on your hips with them bad boys.

Well hang on a minute there Mrs/Mr Unilocal!I’m pretty darn tootin’ sure I have reviewed said Crêpe type place… Oh. No, you are correct, no review from this candidate/frontrunner for earliest found case of Alzheimer’s. I digress. what was I talking about? Senario: In Botanics for family day out which turned into a mothers and me plus 3 kid ambush, when a chance presented itself for me to bail from the screaming(and leave the kids behind for a minute… oh yes I did go there!) and head off for a coffee run. Ten minutes after the plan had been made and the ridiculous order jammed into my poor under caffeinated brain * see image of quivering brian in the corner of my head, slowly rocking back and forth, back and forth, back and…* I set off on my solo journey! Huzzah and what not. But where to go? Well, I’m sorry to admit that convenience and laziness ruled out anything apart form Crêpe, so the decision was pretty much not a decision, but a higher ruling from the ol’ brain type one. Good things: — Prompt, friendly service — She got all the orders spot on and even wrote them on top of the cups! — Price! Under £10 for four drinks?! The bad things ain’t really worth the beef, so let me sum it up by mentioning that, hey, Ok it’s not gourmet coffee(I miss you Avenue G!), but it darn well hits the spot! In a coffee free brain jam? Lazy and near this place? Yeah.

«That’ll Do Donkey, That’ll do.» This location of Crêpe á Croissant on Byers Road is super convenient in the West End. Like the other outlets, it has the same food/beverage offerings for its clientele. Although I’ve had better, it fills the void when I’m in the mood for a crêpe. I normally go for the crepes, because I’m not too keen on the quality of their sandwiches. This locations offers dining in options, as well as a few tables outside(when the weather is nice!). Expect to pay more when dining in, otherwise they’re wrap up your crêpe in nifty triangular boxes that you can unfold into a plate… now that’s multitasking! Most clientele are passersby, and normally takeaway their goodies. The crepes are made fresh right before your eyes. Sweet or savoury, the crepes are large in size and fill up your tummy tum tum. I can normally eat only half of my crêpe, then make Lumberjack eat the rest, haha! Because the crepes are made fresh, expect to wait a wee while. There’s a flat screen telly to keep you occupied, or feel free to chat away with one of the guys behind the counter. The service is great and friendly! Hot tip: These sweet and savoury crepes are reasonably priced… but even better if you can take advantage of the Snapfax 2−4−1 crepes(Monday through Friday). Holla!

This is a fab branch of Crêpe. The staff are always really chipper and on the ball in here. Over the years, they’ve kept a really high standard and the service is always really efficient. The crepes are always fresh, affordable and done to perfection. The don’t have much in the way of seating in here, but most of their business is passing trade anyway so I’ve never struggled to get a table(even during peak times!) I always get the sweet crêpe with marshmallows and cream(nom) — every time I am given a generous amount of chocolate, enough to cultivate a massive belly over time! But it’d be worth it since they know how to make their crepes just right. I don’t tend to shop in chain stores when I can afford not to, but Crêpe is one of my favourites. This particular branch is open till midnight as well, very handy if you’re looking for a healthier post pub snack than what takeaways can offer you! Peaceful to sit in and speedy service when you’re wanting to take out — perfect!

I know some people like this place, BUT it’s not all that. It is fast food crepes with not great ingredients. If you want a plain nutella and banana crêpe, I’m sure it’s fine. But if you are looking for something to harken to great simple french food, this is not the place. One small note, the smoothies are decent and nice on a hot day, but again nothing spectacular.

I have loved this place for a number of years now and I readily shun my pals who venture to the chippy after a few beers and head here in stead! Crêpe a Croissant is open til midnight every night and offers you the best in these french delights. I pretty much exclusively get the sweet crepes, strawberry jam being my favorite, or the nutella one, but it is too good to have too often! They also do a very reasonable lunch menu consiting of a soup and a sandwhich for 4 quid! And they have also started to offer home delivery from 5pm til 11pm although I have never used this service as I literally live round the corner! Great wee place and good grub!

Crêpe a Croissant, along with Subway, comes under the«healthy» take away food bracket, i.e. not healthy at all but slightly better than Burger King or McDonalds. That said, the crepes in Crêpe a Croissant are made right before your very eyes so they can’t be that bad. Well, you don’t get to actually see the ingredients of the crêpe mixture but I’m sure there is nothing too weird in there. I’m sure of it.

As far as fast take away food goes, Crêpe a Croissant is really not bad. There are quite a few healthy options such as salad or chickpea crepes. Just make sure you avert your eyes from the yummy dessert menu which includes nutella and that old favourite your granny used to make you. Lemon juice and sugar. Mmm. Be prepared to wait for a bit as all the crepes are made fresh right in front of your eyes on one of those very cool round stone hobs.

I know there are healthier options; but if I’m on Byres Road and it’s about lunchtime and I’m hungry, you’re more than likely to find me in Crêpe á Croissant. Although very handily positioned, this particular branch is a little bit of a squeeze. Long and thin, there are three or four tables but not very much breathing space. Don’t let this put you off though — on a summer’s day(or as much like summer as you get in Glasgow) I like nothing more than to order a crêpe in a cute triangular takeaway box and take it across the road to the Botanic Gardens. Now for the food — apart from a large range of savoury and sweet crepes on offer(made on hot plates right in front of your eyes), you can also get your hands on filled baguettes, croissants and toasties. All orders are completely customisable, which means that you’ll get exactly what you want! A selling point for me is the fact that they have a LOT of nutella, you’ll find a full range of nutella-orientated crepes on the sweet menu. If you’re thirsty, there are french-style coffees on offer as well as a great range of bottled drinks. Traditional lemonade or ginger ale, anyone? With friendly staff, quick service and very, very tasty food, you’re very unlikely to leave Crêpe á Croissant less than satisfied. Although, you may wish that you hadn’t forced yourself to eat those last few mouthfuls — crepes are very filling!

I love crepes, no matter if they are sweet or savoury, and here they’ve got it right. The selection is amazing — personally, I enjoy the sweet ‘Mega Marshmallow’,(nutella, marshmallow, cream… all in a crêpe!) which sadly, I have never finished(I always get down to the last 4 bites, and it just becomes far too sickly… but not in a horrific way, just in a ‘I wish I could eat this’ way), but if I’m going to go savoury, I prefer the ‘Tantalizing Tikka’(Chicken Tikka crêpe) as it’s just so darn tasty! Ok, it’s not cheap as chips, but for the quality and the size of crepes(it may not look much, but guaranteed you don’t finish the whole 2 of them you just ordered) it’s definitely worth the few pounds you’re going to spend. They also do promotions like 10% off for students, and breakfast deals for £2.50 or so. As the french would say, ‘delicieuse’. Everyone needs crepes in their life.

This branch of Crêpe a Croissant is always very busy. It has a mixed clientele from student to mums with kids and professionals. It is the perect stop for lunch or a snack and you can opt to eat in or take away your food. They focus on serving mostly freshly made ‘crepes’ or pancakes, croissants, wraps and baked potatoes, although they also serve salad and cakes. The crepes are particulary note worthy as they come either sweet or savory, with a huge variety of different toppings to choose from. It is a little on the dear side however, and the quality of staff can vary a fair amount. It is easily accessible being on the ground floor, and popular with pushchair users.
