Food was ok, service was pretty terrible. Despite a 15 wait there are no chairs to sit. Only one of my 2 pizzas had a mini pizza table on it.

Sometimes take away pizza is a must! Pizza Hut isn’t my favourite place taste wise but this place is handy for us and was doing the any pizza collected for £7.99 which is pretty tempting. Unfortunately despite being the only customer it took me forever to order! I went in on a Tuesday and was ordering two pizzas, the guy serving me said I was cheaper to go for their two for Tuesday’s deal(BOGOF) but I insisted the any pizza for £7.99 was cheaper. He argued with me despite me showing him on my phone! When he finally agreed I was right he said ‘Yeah but it’s only 50p cheaper your way’. Pretty sure that’s crap customer service!

The novelty of being able to order a take away Pizza Hut is wearing off a bit now… we only had Dominos or local chippies for a pizza take away in the area we used to live in(we had Papa John’s too but the least said about that the better…) but now we have what was once for us an only sit-in zone — Pizza Hut! Woo!(Okay, calm doon) This branch isn’t that far away from where we live yet for some reason our pizza always seems to be a bit too cold. We usually order a stuffed crust large pizza and you can tell with a stuffed crust pizza if it has been sitting too long — the cheese within the crust looks & tastes different. It’s not that pleasant, but with a take away pizza we have, sadly, come to expect that. The last pizza we ordered was the mental cheeseburger pizza(yes…I know it looks pretty minging, but a dangerous combination of curiosity & a good deal came into play here, okay? Don’t judge me) When it arrived it actually looked quite nice but I wasn’t a fan of the taste of the ‘cheeseburgers’ — they were more just like big, not very nice meatballs than anything. Also the base was a weird texture & the actual pizza itself wasn’t too great; not enough cheese for a start. In the Hut’s defence we took a gamble & it didn’t pay off(for us) & also all other pizzas we had eaten previously hadn’t been that bad — just the usual a bit cold & not enough cheese/weird deep pan base. One thing I DO really like about Pizza Hut over Domino’s is that they now sell CHIPS!!! Yas. Chips! They might not be the best kind(chippy chips or even skinny fries when done well) but they are pretty nice. I love pizza and chips — it’s a winning combination in my eyes. We’ve also tried the breaded chicken strips which aren’t as nice as the Domino’s ones. Btw you NEED to check out the bizarre(almost rude) looking Hotdog mini bites! Ooft… they look/sound crazy shiz man! Ha ha! Dip-wise again I have to say Domino’s beats P. Hut as I love the option of the Frank’s Red Hot dip from Domino’s whereas P. Hut has no similar option. However their garlic & sour cream & chive sauces are both well yum but why have tomato ketchup as an option even? Most people who like ketchup already HAVE it in their cupboards surely?! Maybe I’m wrong… If you fancy a PH pizza and you live quite close to this PH then I would say go for it — it will probably be pretty nice but I think we live just a wee bit too far away for any delivery from here ever to be really hot & fresh. Shame. I do like Pizza Hut but for the most part I think I will stick to sitting in their restaurants(always had a good experience in them) or having a Domino’s/other pizza take-away…unless there’s a good deal and I really fancy chips with my pizza! Ha ha! Easily tempted am I when it comes to chips & pizza!

i was treated very badly on friday… had a voucher for a free pizza which was supposed to last for the entire fresher week and was told that it was valid only until thursday. As you can imagine i was quite upset, i don’t think i will be doing much buisness with them in the future

Great selection of pizzas at sensible prices. Pizza Hut were expensive warm and small. Very busy on the Friday evening we visited.

Terrible, terrible, terrible. Not even the kids enjoyed it. Slow delivery and little effort actually gone into the pizza. Half the pizza was missing the toppings and part lacked sauce. Will not be using again!

Its half 6, its a Sunday and you have spent all day being lazy and playing on Xbox. Slave over a hot stove? Not a chance! Pizza Hut is not the best Pizza you have ever eaten, but it turns up on time, hot and if theres a problem the staff are very nice. Unlike the vast majority of takeaways on
They always have deals on so is pretty reasonable, at the minute they are doing £10 off then you spend £25. Ive done the legwork with shocking takeaways turning up hours late and Pizza Hut really is the best option when stepping out of the door or cooking is too much effort.

The Great Pizza Delivery Review! I’ve compared Pizza Hut to Papa John’s and Domino’s — see my other reviews for the complete picture. From Pizza Hut I ordered a Garlic Stuffed-Crust Cheese & Tomato pizza, the most expensive in my group test at £14.24 and what a disappointment! I was tempted by the thought of a garlic cheese bread and pizza combination, but couldn’t taste the garlic in it at all! This combined with a very bready base and almost non-existent tomato flavour led to a very bland tasting large chunk of cheese on bread. Rarely do I not overstuff myself on a pizza, this one was the exception! The online-ordering delivery service doesn’t provide you with updates on your order’s status neither on the website, nor by e-mail. However, this was perhaps unnecessary as Pizza Hut was the fastest of the three and was still piping hot on delivery.

Oh thank goodness I am not the only one who occasionally angers the pizza Gods by ordering from this Pizza Hut in dire emergencies! When I first moved in to my flat I wasn’t too familiar with the West End and its plethora of pizza emporiums, so when Pizza Hut put a leaflet through my door I put it in the kitchen drawer(you know, that kitchen drawer with all the crap in it) just in case I ever needed it. Turns out one day I did need it and when I ordered my pizza it appeared almost instantly! You can order online which is great if you don’t have any cash on you. A nice young man appeared at my door(that doesn’t happen nearly often enough) to deliver my pizza and he even sang a little Take That medley for me as well. I’m not sure if that was part of a deal Pizza Hut were doing at the time or if that was a little extra I got there. I had no money to tip the guy so I gave him beer instead, he seemed ok with that. So that’s how it started. From then on they just kept sending me more and more leaflets with 2 for 1 vouchers and such like attached so that now that kitchen drawer is just referred to as the Pizza Hut drawer! That’s how they sucked me in and now it is a vicious cycle of desperation-pizza-intense shame and guilt.

I’m with Darryl on this one. I know it’s uncool to admit it — especially if you’re in the West End — but sometimes Pizza Hut is the answer. Namely, on one of those days when you’re busy typing away and trying desperately to finish an essay on time; or rottenly hungover and hiding from the world. Alas, on those days Pizza Hut provides good comfort food in a hurry. Plus, you can even order in some fizzy, artificial coloured Irn Bru and ice cream for desert(if you’re going all out). The pizza’s are actually not bad, though can be on the pricey end of things if you don’t order in one of the special deals(lunchtime deals or Tuesdays two for one). So, if you are willing to pay a bit extra for a FAIRLY decent pizza for the luxury of not having to leave the flat or indeed get out of your jammies — this is a good bet.

When I was a student I used to live on their pizzas. I’m not kidding, I used to buy the largest stuffed crust and would eat it for several days. It’s surprising I survived so long living like that. It’s a well managed Pizza Hut. Never had a problem with their service and their stock of Ben & Jerrys never ran low like other PHs I’ve used.

As much as I hate to admit it, if I really can’t be bothered cooking, or making something to eat, or just don’t want to leave the flat, I will call this pizza hut, and they will deliver a lovely warm pizza to my flat. Excellent. I know, they’re an «evil corporation», the food is pretty awful, blah, blah, blah, but seriously, when I don’t want to move/leave my flat, it’s the lesser of 6 evils. Pizza Hut, Pasta Hut… whatever. As long as the pizza is hot, it arrives within ½hr and I can lather barbecue sauce all over it, I’m a happy camper.
