I’m not exactly sure how permanent this theatre is. Parts of it(like the stairs going down) seemed temporary. But the Railway Children has been going on here for a couple of months. We finally went here last night to watch«in the heights» — an energetic musical — limited run — watch it if you can. I know some smaller theatres like the Southwark playhouse and pub theatres can move seating around to suit the show. My review is from this one show The stage was in the centre and seating on either side — like 3 vertical sections with the stage sandwiched between. Seating was auditorium style at multiple levels, so everyone had a good view. Once you get on to the premises, you enter a holding area with a bar and snack shop and dj console all kitted out to look like an Edwardian railway station. Good variety of drinks, but don’t have the coffee — it was practically just mildly flavoured hot water. Washrooms are connected to this part of the premises and there is an elevator for step free access that can take a wheelchair if necessary. Advantage of watching a play here is that by the time it’s done, it’s super easy to get a table at dishoom across the road that serves dinner until midnight
