Marylebone has some great pubs, and I wouldn’t say the atmosphere here is my favorite, but I crave the burger here like you couldn’t imagine! They top it with a fried egg, and it’s always reliable and good. There is always a solid crowd, and great outdoor seating!

I loved this place. Stopped in for a very early supper with my husband and teenage son. Excellent pub food, and some really amazing variety of a more gourmet type. I had a wonderful beet root stuffed gnocchi and a delicious pumpkin soup. Loved every bite! My husband had a great lamb burger and my son had the very traditional fish and chips. Really nice all around. I might have to go back for more before our stay in London is over!

Reasonable device but the food really let our lunch down. We both ordered beef roast, were asked if medium rare was ok, which received a resounding ‘yes please!’, however the too thickly cut meat that arrived was anything but… It was beyond well done and tough to boot. Disappointing. We won’t be back.

Yummy food in this nice pub. If you fancy grabbing a bite, it is well worth it. However you should reserve a table especially in the evenings.

An oasis of awesome near Baker St tube. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and a great selection of beer(the wine looked great but didn’t try any). To top it off the lady behind the bar saved me from certain heartache when I left my bag behind(which contained a best man speech to be delivered two days later). She chased me down the road and returned it to me much to my elation and embarrassment. Can’t say much more than that. Friendly, honest, would not hesitate to return.

Consistently good pub! The manager Daniel goes out of his way to greet you like you are an old friend. Lots of locals and folks who work in this area. Service is prompt– they’ll get you your beer quickly, the food is really really good– and the price is right for the area. And although price for food is good– it is bistro-pub quality and better tasting than the Duke of Wellington down the rd.

Good old English pub. Been here a couple of times after work? Each time been able to grab a table of which, there are a reasonable amount to choose from. Service is good, if not a little abrupt. Would probably not go here again, if I wanted eat. Selected chorizo and bread with chips, just to keep the alcohol munchies at bay. What came were tiny pieces of fried chorizo with very oily deep fried pieces of bread. All in all I felt like I was eating deep fried lard and didn’t feel great for doing so. This was a far cry from chorizo with fresh crusty bread which, I was expecting. But, lesson learnt. Other than that, would come back for that quick drink after work.

Came hear for sunday dinner and was not disappointed. They had a nice sunday roast with many options, I chose the baby chicken. Everything was seasoned well and came out hot. My wife had the fish and chips which was tasty as well. The service was very good and the atmosphere was fun. I’d definitely go back for a pint or some food.

Another pub we tried on our Sunday afternoon ‘quiet drink’ catch up, this place was well located off baker St and seemed busy despite the post Sunday roast rush. Good sign to have people inside after food so we checked it out. Good atmosphere, very chilled. We had couple pub snacks, I would recommend the paprika wedges, they come with cheese on and are a good size portion and wedge size — very important to get your wedge worth! Also come with aioli, which was super yum. I always think that all mayonnaise should come with garlic whenever I have aioli, such a nice extra kick. Descents selection of drinks too, definitely a solid pub to spend a couple of hours mulling over the week

Recommended by the hotel staff, run by some nice Italian people. So the pub food was a little different, but still some traditional selections. Fast, almost too fast service. The staff never stop to catch their breath. Had the mushroom raviolis with the white sauce, delicious. We went there first for a pint, and they have a great selection. Would go there again, in a heartbeat.

First of all, I’m a beekeeper, so the sign was irresistible. And it’s 100 meters from my new flat. I was looking forward to making it my local. Unfortunately, my first visit was with a buddy who was starving and didn’t want to eat at the tourist joints near the Baker Street tube. I recommended this place, and am embarrassed that I did. The place was busy, and it took almost ten minutes just to get someone’s attention. The only staff were a young girl and guy, neither one of whom understood English very well. After bringing menus and taking a drink order, it was another ten minutes before he came back. We ordered a simple burger and a sausage plate, and it was fifty minutes before it arrived. No one came by to explain, or even got anywhere nearby. When my friend got up to ask the girl, she told him«coming soon», though she obviously didn’t have any idea. Another five minutes and it finally showed up. The food was extremely average; this place has nothing to do with a «gastropub». We were never asked if we wanted another drink, or anything else. It was a disaster. There are thousands of pubs in London, and most of them are better than this. I’d rather go to just about any Wetherspoons than the Beehive, I’m saddened to say. I don’t even know why I’m giving them two stars. I’m a sucker for the name and the pretty sign, I guess.

The area is, thanks to the large tourist attractions, know for very expensive pubs. The Beehive is slightly«off the beaten track» so prices are still decent for both drink and food. As any pub it will be busy after work hours, especially on Fridays but hey this is London. If you want peace&quiet your in the wrong town…

Me and some friends decided to spend a cold Saturday afternoon at this gastropub, and it didn’t disappoint. I ordered a starter of serrano ham and cheese, a main of chicken, new potatoes and diablo sauce and a dessert of chocolate brownie(which I reluctantly shared). Every course was good if not great. The food is simple and of good quality. The atmosphere was ok. It’s not ye olde worlde or modern, something in between. The waiting staff were attentive without being intrusive. All in all a good gastropub.

On a snowy Sunday in London, and having been turned away from the Duke of Wellington(who seemed a bit snooty) we walked further down the road and stumbled upon The Beehive. We were welcomed into the warmth with good service and decent food(I had a Full English and my friend had a Sunday Roast). With tea /coffee, wine and pudding the bill came to about £40 for 2 people, not cheap but acceptable I guess for the area. Would definitely return: o)

It’s charming and cozy and fancies itself as a gastro-place. As a place for beer, I give it 3 stars. As a food destination, we’ll have to wait. Stars will go up or down!

Ah, yes… my copy and paste description of a tavern! This place is sponsored(I think) by Meantime(yuck) so we only popped in to try a pint or two we didn’t have. Yet again– it looks like every other pub you’ve been in. HOWEVER, this place had two suuuuuper good cask ales!!! glug glug glug glug

It can be hard to find something non-touristy or non-posh in Mayrlebone, but secretly hanging out only a few blocks from the underground station is The Beehive, and it’s a solid pub. There’s nothing incredibly fancy about this place, just a good local. Cheapish drinks, waitress who are constantly running around to pick up drinks, tables inside and out(with a nice awning over the out ones, which worked well for us as it was pouring), the likes. We were there for an after-work happy hour on a Friday and filled the place without about twenty people — and it was already pretty packed to begin with. Still, it felt crowded but not too crowded and we actually were able to snag two large tables after standing around for half an hour or so. Great service at this place too. They handled large requests and got drinks out fast. That was a win all around. Overall, an above average pub in a spot that you wouldn’t think to find it. Good all around.

This is a lovely little backstreet boozer, that felt very welcoming, especially in bitterly cold weather. They might only serve Young’s Bitter and London Pride, but both were in good condition, so I can’t moan too much about a predictable choice. 1 average sized screen in the corner, churning out the football results despite a lack of interest from the handful of punters.
