Location is very nice, outdoors within a shopping area. Food was perfect. The grilled Mahi sandwich was prepared very well. The marguerite pizza was delicious. Kenn did a good job, even though he seemed quite busy.

The Caesar w/​grilled shrimp was excellent. Big shrimp perfectly seasoned. Served in pretty salad dish. Grilled cheese was good! But some tomato soup would of made it great! Atmosphere is casual, and under pretty umbrella in small court yard

I really liked this place! We went after several hours on the beach for a late lunch. I loved the outdoor patio seating and the service was good too. I got the burger that comes with 2 patties and it tasted like one off the grill. The potato salad was delicious too. Definitely recommend checking this out while you’re here.

My wife and I visited today and had the deviled eggs and hummus. Both were very good and reasonably priced. Service was prompt, attentive and friendly. In fact, the owner spent time talking with us and showing off his beautiful second restaurant. Don’t forget to try the Virgin Fire Hot Sauce.

Stopped in here for happy hour and a bite to eat. The seating is all outside individual round tables with umbrellas.
Good selection of drinks. We ordered the sangria and beer both good.
Food wise, the menu selection is varied enough that I’m sure there is something for everyone. We had the special which was a puff pastry stuffed with pulled pork, beans and shrimp tacos. Both were great and came out fresh.
Service was also great. It’s the off season and only one server at the time. She did a great job juggling the tables. We were into the island ways and were in no rush.
Overall we had a great time and enjoyed out meal!

If from Chicago. I know good burgers. They make a GREAT burger at a reasonable price… Island or no island. So good I had to go talk to the chef and compliment him on his talent. Got to chatting. Turns out they slice their own bacon. Triple thick. It’s fantastic. Use your discount from the Weston. It’s worth it.

Delicious food, nice staff. I ate the Chicken Roti which was served in a burrito with a side of coconut rice & topped with mango chutney. Full well rounded flavors. So pleased we came here. Definately will make this a stop on my next trip to St John.

Good food, miserable service.
This is a really just a set of tables in the breezeway of an outside shopping mall. Quite warm in summer, so if you suffer the heat, you might want to select an air conditioned location.

Sun dog café had some of the best food I ever tasted, all from a kitchen the size of a Volkswagen.
Their certified Angus burger was a hit! It comes with fresh house made tortilla chips instead of fries. The black bean quesadillas were toasted and spiced to perfection. Our waiter was excellent. I would definitely recommend this restaurant!

A courtyard restaurant in the Mongoose junction shopping area.
Great food, well thought out and fresh prepared. We tried about everything on the menu and enjoyed it all.
In talking to the staff, we learned that they keep the place small because the bar and restaurant nearby are owned by the same people. Of course, they would like you to come back and visit their other establishments and if the Café is full maybe you will go there instead.

Great little café when you are shopping at Mongoose Junction. It has a bunch of outdoor tables that line a stone walkway down between the shops. It is run out of a little stand really, but they prepare really nice items. I had the ceasar salad with chicken on it — it was fresh and well presented and the drinks were great.
We didn’t get very bitten there for being outside, which became a major concern after a while so it was very nice.
I would recommend seeing Mongoose Junction — they have really cute and fun shops and many items have no tax! Which is awesome. I got a bunch of items from hoodies, to Ts to gifts and jewelry.
And once you are shopped out — stop in at Sun Dog Café for dinner!

Ordered the homemade chips and salsa for an appetizer ($ 6.50). Chips tasted great, and when I tried the salsa for the first time, it was fresh tasting, with small fresh cut chunks of tomato, onions and cilantro. But after a couple of bites of salsa, I noticed that the fresh taste was gone, and what was underneath was «jarred» salsa. For the main course, I had a special of the day, which was tomato soup and a cheese quesadilla.($ 7) It was very good. The soup was thick and rich. Service was great, and Mongoose Junction is a very cool shopping and dining area.

A great lunch spot in a nice outdoor setting. The blackened peel & eat shrimp was very nice, but the star was the Shrimp Veracruz. We will definitely eat here again.
