Absolutely divine! My family’s favorite spot in Dingle no doubt. Be prepared to spend some money, but worth every penny! Had the best tasting Chardonnay from Romania, an incredible gnocchi appetizer, and tasty salmon! If you’re willing to pay for a nicer dining experience, I’d definitely recommend it!

Don’t leave Dingle without experiencing this extraordinary restaurant. Everything was superb.

The restaurant was decorated nicely and was cozy. Food was ok. My husband had the risotto for a starter and it needed seasoning; very bland. I had the crab salad and it was very flavorful, but I had bit into two pieces of crab shell. The main courses ere presented very beautifully and were tasty. Might try again.

I’m afraid I must disagree with some of the reviews here. While the food is good, it didn’t blow me away and I have eaten better in Dingle. 1. Clear glass plates for both courses. It just cheapened the experience. I wonder is it because we had the Early Bird menu? 2. There isn’t really anything holding the décor together so it left me feeling like it’s just been building up rather than well thought out. 3. Dishes could have been presented better. 4. The wine choice is fantastic All in all, the food was good but it was the décor and cutlery letting the place down!

Best meal we had in England or ireland and we had some pretty fabulous meals. Warm friendly people, excellent atmosphere and amazing food. Michelen star food in one of the most beautiful places in ireland. Not to be missed!

Agree with another reviewer – this was one of the best meals we had in Ireland! the menu if very inventive. I’ve had quite a few great meals but rarely are they mind-blowing. The seafood chowder with the lime oil? MINDBLOWING. so. so. good. Could not get over it. Everything we had was excellent here. We ate here on our first night in Dingle & I wish we had gone back every night because none of our other meals in Dingle lived up to it :)

A wonderful, intimate atmosphere, classy interior, friendly staff and superior food make this the perfect choice for that special occaision. We’ve visited Dingle many times, and the Charthouse is always our choice for our last vacation dinner in Dingle.

Our dinner at the Chart House Restaurant was beyond expectation. Out of all of the dinners that we enjoyed in the country of Ireland, this rated at the top. We were on a tour and several in our group raved at the quality of the food and the service. The food was fresh and perfectly prepared. We had such wonderful, personal service that we felt like special guests. Thank you to Jim McCarthy, his chef, kitchen staff, and wait help for a most memorable dinner in Dingle. We highly recommend this experience and suggest making reservations as it gets quite busy for good reason.

This little gem is just off the main drag of town, but you probably passed it on the way in but didn’t even notice it. The food was excellent: Mussels for the app were good, but the lamb was excellent. I won’t harp on the price, which was a little steep, but in my opinion it was well worth it. One last piece of advice is this restaurant IS small. Romantic? Yes, but that also means it can fill up so make a reservation! .

This place is very nice. Not cheap, that’s for sure — but with your money, you get great romantic atmosphere, impeccable service and delicious food. This place isn’t cheap. Most meals are going to set you back 20 – 40 Euro, but the food IS great. Really fresh seafood, good wines and a all-around great experience. I couldn’t afford to eat here every night, but for a little splurge on vacation, this place definitely did the job.

I like giving five stars but I find it hard to give them very often and stay objective and real at the same time. This was no problem! Fresh seafood in a beautiful(and romantic) setting. The service was impecible — even if I can’t spell the word correctly. Eating in Ireland is not cheap. Most dinner meals have been running us around 50 euro or more(+/-$ 80) for two and this one ran closer to 90($ 150) but was worth every penney. Would have been cheaper except I had a shot of Midleton very rare Irish whiskey and that set us back 10($ 16). Again, well worth it. If you are in Dingle and want a very nice dining experience, this is the place. Whatever you do — stay away from Harrington’s Fish and Chips across the street. That place sucked and was the only bad meal we had in Ireland — and it still cost us over $ 50 to eat dinner there! The Chart House — that’s the place.
