Ok, so I think I may have missed the trick with this place… So yes, the dining area is great, a little compact but it has a cosy, inviting feel to it. On being seated, we were pretty content; order was taking promptly and the wine list was pretty sweet. Food, arrived… Ok, I made a mistake… The specials board was not light up very well and I excitedly jumped on the smoked salmon bruschetta albeit couldn’t see the little small writing, what I but up in my head, did not arrive on the table. It was not bruschetta topped with salmon, it was a slice sourdough bread with no olive oil/garlic to it, just a dry olé piece of toast, topped with chilled salmon, a cold boiled egg(what boiled egg /bruschetta, yes I was confused too…) some rocket, asparagus plus hot tomato. It was bizarre blend of cold/hot food that I wasn’t expecting plus I’ll admit, my disappointment at it not actually getting bruschetta just lingered for the rest of my time there. As we wrapped up the food, I was a little disappointed to have the next table, squeeze in an extra body beside us, practically on my husbands lap, then overheard the waitress saying, the next table will be picking up their check now and they table will be freeing a few mins… I was only half way through my wine, jesus, why to put pressure on a customer when we were never given a table timeframe, we were sat and never told we needed to vacate the table at X time. Needless to say, this didn’t at all please me. Lastly, billed arrived and one of the glasses of wine ordered, instead of 7.50 as per the menu, it was 9.00 on the bill. It was put down to a new till system which hey, I’m normally forgive but I was already falling out of love with this place. I think I’ll try give this place a second shot in the new year, it’s been so widely talked about I’m hoping this was just a blimp.

One of the best meals I had in Dublin so far. Great food, cozy atmosphere, perfect service and very central in the heart of Dublin City. Defo will come back!

I have been meaning to come here for some time. I used to work with one of the current staff and I have bought vouchers from here for friends. The only thing that put me off was that you can only book if you are 6 people or more. Anyway, we popped in at 7.00 on a Thursday evening and we got one of the last tables. It was about half full but there were a few group tables set up. These all arrived shortly after us. I like the way this restaurant is laid out. There is a great use of space and a lovely ambiance. We started with a glass of prosecco– theirs is on tap!- and then we all tried a cocktail. They are rightly famous for these to my mind. I had the Flo and Bassy gin cocktail which was fantastic. I would go back just to drink this again. My friends tried the Cucumberland, which was good and the Coppinger Cup, which was delicious if a little fruity for me. My friend loved it though. I shared a charcuterie plate with one of my friends– very tasty and light. They had a couple of specials 0n and two of went for the lamb rump. This was really delicious. I had the pannacotta dessert which was fantastic– very creamy. It was served with biscotti and cherries. I loved it. We finished with Espresso martinis which were terrific too. I have to say the service was excellent throughout despite there only being one bartender and two waiters on. It was busy but the staff were friendly and efficient. I will be back for the Gin cocktails. Definitely worth a look if you are looking for a buzzy atmosphere and great food.

Stopped in to Coppinger Row for a cocktail. They are a bit on the pricey side, but really, really amazing. We both had the Awesome Foursome, and it was incredible. We sat on the patio, which was nice, and the service was friendly and fast. Inside looked nice too. Didn’t eat here, so can’t comment on the menu.

A perfect gem. Great food we didn’t expect, outstanding service, fun music, the only slight negative was the chairs outside was a little uncomfortable but not enough to detract. We started with a pork belly starter and original gin cocktails. Incredible. Entrees; monk fish was cooked to perfection and pasta w/meatballs perfect all accompanied with a bottle of Rosé, the best we’ve had in Dublin. Prices are right ambience is exciting.

I went to Coppinger Row for a team work dinner & it was great! The service was excellent and they kept the water, wine & beer constantly flowing. Their drinks menu was huge and their martinis/gin options were amazing. Something for everyone. Even beer lovers have a few options. Their specials have fish, chicken and beef options which is a nice variety. Everyone loved what they ordered. I got the pâté appetizer with the most delicious bread on the side and meatball linguini as my main. They were extremely accommodating when I asked for my meal without any cheese/dairy. The only reason i knocked a star is the selection for dinner is pretty small if you don’t make it there for happy hour although it wasnt hard to find something i liked with the few options we had. Most things sounded good as long as you done mind going a little out of your comfort zone. I had to ask«what is that» about a few of ingredients. I also didn’t love that my meatballs were pink/still red in the middle. I don’t mind my steak pink but ground beef should probably be cooked.

I been in and out at Cowpinger row a few times by now and cant believe I haven’t written a review yet. First of all I am quite picky with service and certain places I do expect standard and over there I always received the most loving and excellent service I had in a good while. As me and my beloved allergies the waitress every time I was there took so good care of it and made sure I am happy and they adjusted the veggie antipasti plank to vegan and its just the little things that make you feel happy and not just eyed rolled at like in other places if you ask for special request. So far we only ever been over during lunch time hours but I am dying to sample their dinner menu and more of those interesting and zesty looking gin cocktails as I rather sticked with my prosecco for the lunch hours . Just an advice if you planning to go for lunch you better be early if you wanna avail of the outdoor seats facing cowpinger row as they are limited and one just cant beat the people watching bonus factor you get for free;

Had brunch here. Had very little options of food to choose from. There were like 4 pages of drinks list and only half a page plus specials board of food. Food was average but a tiny bit too expensive for it to be worth. Was kind of rather disappointed because they did not tell us about the special board and the special board had better food on it than to the menu itself. Overall, it was average but not really worth the price.

Ok I’d say… was here last Thursday with a group of friends. We had a set menu for 37 € if with steak it was 42 € All in all I have to say I am not super impressed, the food was average — nothing amazing. Portions are quite big, do you definitely get worth the money. The service is good too, staff is friendly and quick enough. Yeah why also only 2 stars? I really have to say I am not thinking of going back because things I ate were just very blend. King prawns for starter, very difficult to peel off and messy. Steak for main with a massive amount of rocket on the plate. Steak had a lot of fatty bits on it and my fries on the dude were quite salty! The beans were amazingly fresh and crispy k have to say! For desert I had limoncello — you cannot really do something wrong with it, but a taste of the brownie of my friend showed my you can with a brownie — the sauce helped and made it «juicy» — that’s it, nothing to suggest for your next visit. Cocktails are pretty good!!! So maybe I’ll go back here and try it again, but the set menu for sure won’t do it for me again…

I came here with the guys from Unilocal for Saturday lunch, and once before with my mother on Sunday and both times were great! The service was excellent, the staff were very friendly and explained the things on the menu really well in quite great detail that it was sort of hard to take it all in! But the food was really tasty, I had the crab and crayfish salad which was quite light but nice, however the price was a bit much compared to the portion. The menu is pretty small, but they have some quite creative dishes on the specials as well, like Cod fish scotch eggs! The presentation of the food is also great! The portions excluding the cray fish salad are quite big but not too large, and the prices are pretty ok, about 10~15 euro for a main. They also have a full bar and a nice dessert selection, so I’d really recommend it for special occasions.

Depending on which way you look at it, I’ve either spent too many or too few nights drinking delicious cocktails in Coppinger. The food is reliably gorgeous with a great wine list too. Love the atmosphere and staff is really friendly. Only downside is you need to be very disciplined not to leave with a fairly hefty bill.

I loved my meal here. We came here on a whim one weekday night, and happened to be in time for the Early Bird special. Two courses with a glass of wine for € 25.50 is more than a decent value, especially for this part of town. We both went with the house red — a lovely choice. Subsequent glasses were € 7, which we happily went for another of… it was delicious and the pours were generous. For food, we had the Garlic Chili Prawns a la Plancha. If you care about being messy, don’t order them — they require getting your hands right in there. If you care about flavour — definitely order these(finger bowls are provided, and will be necessary). The prawns were large, fresh, spicy and so fragrantly smoky from the grill. The Seabass with tomatoes and olives that followed as my main was similarly well-executed. The skin was rendered to a nice crispy crust. I was impressed to see that they had cut the ends off the baby potatoes prior to roasting, so they also developed a beautiful golden crust. Nice little touch. It really does come down to the details. I have to say the Raspberry Bavarois we finished with for dessert didn’t do anything for me. I’d probably try something else next time. All in, I still really enjoyed my meal here and am definitely coming back outside early bird hours to try more of their menu!

Wonderful meal at Coppinger Row on Sunday! As with most of my meals in Dublin, I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while. I pass by it at least every other week as I get my Kaph/Cocoa Atelier fix so was excited to give it a go. Upon being seating we reviewed the menu and were delighted to see that the Early Bird menu was offered for the full evening. They have a nice selection of reasonably priced wines, even offering some on tap at a steal! Everything sounded so nice so we had a little trouble deciding, but eventually were ready. I started with the venison ravioli and it was so nice. The meat had great flavours and paired well with the light ravioli and parmesan textures. J had a caprese which was a little different with cherry tomatoes and mozzarella balls but still yummy. For my main I went with the pumpkin risotto with goats cheese and was not disappointed. Really creamy and well seasoned. All it was missing was a little sage! J had the mushroom and pecorino in a filo pastry and it was fantastic. If you love mushrooms, this is definitely the dish for you. To finish everything off we shared the vanilla panna cotta with rasberries and biscotti. The panna cotta had a lovely texture and was not overly sweet. The biscotti was slightly chewy(so we had to use our hands to break it apart) but the flavour was still nice and it was a great contrast to the panna cotta. We received excellent service and the place had a great ambience. With 3 courses for € 24.50 this is definitely one of the best early birds I have had — especially since you don’t have to come early on Sundays! Will return!

Buzzing urban café. Came here solo for weekday lunch. Super friendly efficient staff. Cool music. Food was superb quality and portion size for my lunch. Enjoyed the crab crayfish on homemade crusty sourdough. Even the medley of greens were crisp and fresh. A gem of a place. Very small glass of wine a tad dear at € 7.50 but we won’t fall out :-). Will return!

A very trendy, hipster, über cool restaurant offering unique takes on classic staples making them well… cool. I started off with the Flo and Bassy martini, which was amazing. it was refreshing and not too sweet. The herb-y note of the basil really complements the gin cocktail. Definitely get it when you go! I didnt see the gin and tonic menu out that is wht originally enticed me here. I started with the crab and crawfish salad that was nice. For the price I thought the portion was rather meager and nothing astounding… The toast was a bit burnt which may have taken away from the delicate protein. I tried my friend’s octopus salad which was AMAZING. No rubberiness at all. tender and grilled and seasoned to perfection. For my main I ordered the pork belly while my friend went for the tuna nicoise salad. The pork belly… AMAZING. SOGOOD! and the portion was perfect. I loved it. It was tender yet crispy and so flavorful. My friends nicoise salad was HUGE! Its pricey but def worth it as they don’t skimp on the extremely fresh tuna. One of the best seared tuna I’ve had in Dublin… Actually THE best! If you don’t like terragon though I wouldnt order it as my friend thought the anise flavor was way too intense but I didnt mind it. For 2 starters, 2 mains, 2 cocktails. 1 beer and 1 glass of wine came out to € 99…I thought this was rather steep. yes the quality of food was good but I don’t think we got € 100 worth of food… The service was efficient and attentive. I can’t fault it but I wasn’t a difficult diner that night so noting to really commend either But that being said, I would go back. I just don’t think I’d imbibe there or go with a big appetite. Overall 4.5 stars! Give it a go

I’m just going to come on out and say it… I love Coppinger Row. Living in a capital city, Im lucky to have a plethora of restaurants to choose from for everything from a casual bite for lunch, a catch up with my mom, drinks before going dancing… right up to special celebrations. The funny thing is I always end up back in Coppinger for all of the above. Why? Firstly and most importantly for me — their cocktails are spectacular. I was travelling for a year and tried many a Cosmo and pined for the Coppinger one. My palate has progressed(unfortunately for me!) to Old Fashioneds and again these are made perfectly. The food is delish — the perfect balance of tasty treats with good portion sizes that aren’t too stodgy meaning you can go for a bop afterwards if the mood takes. You can tell everything is fresh and the specials are perfect for keeping you interested(if you go there as much as I do). That said, the steak and rocket always wins out for me! The lunch specials are really great value and you feel like you’re getting a wholesome, good feed rather than just grabbing a sambo which is nearly the same price. The number one selling point for me in Coppinger though is the atmosphere. It’s friendly, inclusive and buzzy and the perfect for any time of the day — for a quick bite, to just a glass of delicious wine on the terrace. Will always be my number 1.

Coppinger Row was recommended by some of the locals, which I thoroughly enjoyed very much! Extensive wine and drinks menu(about 4 pages of it) before you get to the actual entrees(only 1 page at the end for lunch). Very simple menu with few entrees and few options for sides. I had the Dressed Crab & Crayfish with Basil & Lemon and was delighted by the taste. Wasn’t too heavy or overly dressed with mayo and paired well when spread over the bread. Mixed green salad was light and the entire entrée felt well portioned. Highly recommended for lunch!

Coppinger Row was my first meal during a recent trip to Dublin. I was basically wandering around the Grafton Street area after waking up from a nap and I was really really hungry. Fortunately, I stumbled upon this place, that happened to have a wonderful special for 10 Euros that included a main dish and a dessert. The main dish was wonderful and was a rigatoni with a lovely tomato sauce and homemade lamb sausage. Not only was it filling, but it was tasty! Dessert was a rice pudding, which I’d never tried before, but I discovered that I wasn’t a big fan. However, I won’t hold that against the restaurant. Service was good and attentive and the entire meal experience was enjoyable. Coppinger Row proved to be a pleasant surprise.

Ever since I heard that Bey and Jay chose to grace Coppinger Row with their presence when they visited Dublin a few months back, I had it in my head that this eatery was wayy out of my league and budget. Well some ninny I was for thinking such fillyfoddle! Coppinger Row may not be super cheap, but their lunch menu was a lot kinder on the piggy bank than I was anticipating. The € 10 lunch deal includes a chosen main and dessert, and let me tell you they were both delicious and appropriately portioned(this is only lunch, remember!) The crowd wasn’t the hoyty-toyty-oh-dahhling type either, very low key and cool. So all in all I’d say good food, reasonable lunch prices and a nice atmosphere: SOLID.
