I love family run shops, i think they’re the bees knees. This is one of those places. The family who runs it is super friendly and nice. I usually order sandwiches and they are a very nice change from Subway. Every once in a while I go wild and crazy and order their gyozas which are always reliably fried deliciousness. I think it’s a great place to go for a quick and delish lunch.

I was looking for something to eat on my walk home from Granville Street and stumbled upon this little café. It looked cute out the outside so I decided to try it instead of going to Subway. I saw on their board that they offered panini’s, so I decided to order one. I had to wait at the counter for over 5 minutes before an employee came up to the counter from the back. He answered a phone call on his personal cell phone before asking me what I wanted. When I asked for a panini, he told me they didn’t have any so he couldn’t make me one. Why would you have signs all over the counter advertising five different kinds of panini’s and then say you don’t have any? I then decided to order a teriyaki chicken wrap because I saw those in the case. The employee asked if I wanted it warmed up, which I said yes. He then took off the plastic wrap and microwaved it. The wrap was okay, but if I’m going to spend $ 5.25 on a wrap I expect much better service and quality. I will definitely not be going back.

Serves a bunch of sandwich/soups… a few of the sandwiches can be included as part of a soup/sandwich combo for $ 7.50… My soup wasn’t the greatest but value and speed wise I understand why all the people were coming here… (when I don’t know where to eat in an area, just watch where the locals go…)
