Had a great dinner last night. Roast beef dip was very tasty, the bun was soft and warm. Got caramelized onions added. Could have used a bit more but they were good too! Loved the big pickle spear and smear of Dijon mustard added. My companion asked for his fries to be «well done» a request that apparently is hard to fulfill at most places. They came out perfect for him! I got the Rosemary garlic fries with my sandwich. The fries themselves were great and the bacon chive mayo was delicious. I wasn’t a fan of the dried rosemary and burnt garlic pieces. I probably wouldn’t get them again, but I would ask for the bacon chive mayo to dip my regular fries in again! Nice big portions too! The kitchen was a bit backed up and our server was nice enough to let us know it was going to take a bit longer instead of just leaving us to wait and wonder where our food was. We had beer in front of us and a great table at the window to people watch so it wasn’t so bad! Looking forward to going back and trying other items on the menu! The manager and staff are also super friendly and attentive!

Place is about half empty… Server is slower than molasses in January. Food was pretty decent, although portions were a bit small. Would I come here again? Probibly not… Also, place is dirty… Cobwebs all over the place and the caked dust on the backs of the TVs is a bit gross. Hope the BOH is better than the FOH.

The need to show two forms of ID at the door was a bit ridiculous. After reaching for my wallet and passport at the bottom of my bag while the hostess glared at me I was very much over this place. We decided to just give it a try anyways. The poutine was good and the drinks were perfect, but the service was fair. It is not likely I would recommend this place or return.

We rolled in for a late lunch and some drinks on a Friday afternoon. No wait, plenty of seating, comfortable atmosphere, and decently-priced food. You can’t ask for much more than that.

So this place is consistently terrible. I went there a while ago and was always met with extremely slow service, one time even walking out after waiting for twenty minutes and no one served us. A few days ago I went in with a friend to get a cocktail and she got a mimosa and I got a margarita, well after waiting for over fifteen minutes we got our repulsive drinks. Hers tasted like watered down grapefruit juice with flat champagne and mine tasted like pure lime juice with a splash of tequila. Not to mention it was $ 10 for one in a highball glass that wasn’t even filled to the brim. Over all disappointing and just sad. Won’t ever try again.

Over priced food/drinks and terrible service Who charges twice the price for a double? Especially when it’s made so poorly. Food portions are half a regular meal

Cool little pub with one of the best views in the city. We all had a burger and beer special that was really a great deal. The classic burger and fries were very good. Our waitress was great, and the pub was great. Great atmosphere. Not too noisy. Hockey game on the TV. All good. Was a great experience with good pub food. Go there!

Mediocre food, high priced, and service was lacking. Wouldn’t think twice about coming back here.

Nice spot, great scenery during sunrise/set. Service is quite good, typical out fare. This current visit must’ve been odd timing: natural gas smell/leak on the indoor patio, leading to the heaters simply being turned off, and they ran out of burgers. Otherwise it’s a decent spot.

So-so. Usually Donnely Group restaurant. Slightly overpriced, underdeveloped food. Great vibe, and location. Views must be stunning on a nice day. Good service. I got a sausage plate. $ 14 for 2 sausages and some fires, with«mustards» that seemed like mostly mayo, and bland kimchi. Extra $ 2 for fries onions which barely filled a ketchup dish. Really nice atmosphere. Has a great sort of protruding bar section that would overlook the water. On a nice day, the view must be stunning. Servers asked us to move tables to make room, after telling us to take a seat amywhere — apology, but not comped anything.

Our waitress Chantrelle made this fun! Loved the cocktails. Awesome French dip and great chicken tortilla soup.

Stinky, loud and generally sub-par. This is one of those mediocre bars that pretends it’s a good restaurant, mostly because the English Bay location allows them to charge ridiculous prices to unsuspecting tourists who are too tired to walk very far from the beach. The music is always cranked up to eleven and sports screens are everywhere, even when it’s relatively empty or it’s mid-afternoon. The waitresses are capable, but shameless tip flirts who will badger you constantly to refill your drink. The food is where it really goes south. It’s tasty enough but it’s the kind of food any reasonably competent short order cook could crank out while the prices are more what you’d expect from the fanciest restaurant in town. Expect $ 16 burgers with patties that are smaller than a McDonalds cheeseburger and small glasses of beer for five or six dollars. I’m not sure where they buy their beef but the last time I ate there I got no less than THREE chips of bone in the middle of my microscopic expensive burger. In other words, if you’re drunk out of your mind, you will think this a good restaurant because the salt and the grease will seem heavenly and screaming at the person beside you will seem normal. You will end up tipping well and thinking that you had a good time because the pretty young waitress put her hand on your arm, and the whole cycle of bad food, lies and alcohol will continue. Avoid this place unless you are drunk, depressed or both.

Love this place. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and don’t spend all their time chatting or bitching at the waiters station. Personal pet peeve! The food is really good French dip, wings, sausage plate rocks. I’ve seen first hand how difficult some of the clientele can be and am blown away by managements level of patients. I find many of these reviews a bit absurd. Saw first hand last pride a group of morons going as far as taking chairs from Milestones patio next door and being beyond rude and obnoxious. Chill out people it’s a pub at the beach. Soak in the view have a beer and relax.

This place is ok. It’s situated in a nice part of Vancouver, being by the sea in English Bay. But as far as the name ‘Three Brits’ is concerned, it is literally the only pub/bar that I have come across here that only operates in American measures. You can not get anything larger than an American pint or sleeve, which to be fair, isn’t an epic difference. But, if you’re going to sell yourself as a Brit pub, playing Britpop, then you should at least pour an imperial pint like everywhere else does in the area! I’m a Brit living in NYC, so a Brit USP needs to be followed up!

Was denied entry by the manager Sam because my visiting parents who are almost 60 did not have a valid ID with them to prove their age other than passports in their hotel. He said that all pubs in the area are now enforcing this but I live in the West End and have not seen this at any other bar or restaurant. There is a way to go about things and being disrespectful, rude and condescending to new visitors to the city(my parents) was shocking and no apologies were made. It’s obviously a popular bar in the summer with the increase of traffic in the west end and they can afford to turn away business. The Donnolly Group need to take a look at what is being done here as staff on the front door appear very junior and have terrible customer service skills. Management do not care about local repeat business and treating customers with contempt seems to be tolerated. That being said there are nice friendly servers working here and it has decent drink service. Food menu has recently changed again and is very limited during certain hours with overpriced and average food. Good view of English Bay from the window seats but a lot of the bar seems be populated with fruit flies. Definitely other local bars to check out in the area before this one. The food at The Park or The Hub is far better and also have better drinks menu.

Great atmosphere. Good selection of beers & cocktails. I ordered clam chowder and it was one of the best bowls of chowder over ever had and the clams were amazing. To top it off my garlic bread was yummy. Great people watching.

While traveling in Vancouver with friends we stopped here for lunch! It was right on the water with the windows open. Weather was perfect so it was a great stop. The staff was great! Becky & George took care of us and both were quick, attentive and super friendly!!! They even split our 11 people check into separates. On top of that great service the food was awesome. We got wings in tons of flavors all great. A little small on the meat, but we are from the states so we are use to large wings. A bunch of us ordered the chicken avocado salad… So good! Get it! Fresh and very big! I’d suggest this place to anyone around. Great spot

Dinner menu doesn’t have a wide variety but tolerable cuz the appetizer fries and spring rolls were amazingly good. The pork spring rolls I ordered comes with lettuce so you can wrap it(lessen the guilt of having deep fried spring rolls lol), sirracha and I think it was oyster or hoisin sauce? Must try so be there starting 4pm to try these two dishes out!

Popped in twice last weekend — once alone while waiting to meet up with a friend, then with a different friend on Saturday night. Was quite happy both times. I find Donnelly places to be hit and miss(more miss than hit) but this was pleasant. Great view with the open air concept facing English Bay. Lots of competition for the tables with the views. $ 6 Kronenbourg cold and in a proper glass. My server was great; friendly and attentive. Service was quick and it seemed like they had a good amount of servers per client. I didn’t try the food. Will check it out again.

Four stars for happy hour wine prices cause they’re the best pours I’ve seen downtown. I’ve had food here before and it’s decent, but i avoid the busy times so can’t assume quality is always top notch. If you’re in the WE this place is solid for a bite and some bevies.

Always a nice little watering hole to come to after work with the friends/coworkers. I don’t know what this says about us, but the servers have just stopped asking us what we want and automatically put beer in front of us now. We’re usually with the last call crowd, so I’ve never tried the food. Everyone’s pretty friendly though. Can’t complain.
