This was the best Italian food we have ever had and at a reasonable price! For $ 100 we got the special for 2(bread, salad, 3 kinds of pasta, steak and shrimp, and 2 desserts) and a bottle of wine. It was really enough for 3 – 4 people! The electric violinist was incredible. The service was great and so was the ambiance. The entire restaurant is adorable! We would highly recommend this place!

Our new favorite italian restaurant in Cabo. Thanks Justin and Nicole. Killer ambience with open air seatting. You could smell the roasted garlic as soon as we arrived. This guy was playing the electronic violin. Very cool!

We came here because it was recommended by a friend and it did not disappoint! The food was so good! I got the shrimp pasta and my husband got the beef tip pasta, both were perfect! Their wine selection was also very good. The ambiance was great! It’s very Italian looking and very pretty. I would definitely go again!

My husband and I found this place after a a horrible experience at Salvatore’s, which came highly recommended by many tourists. Why? Maybe these tourists don’t know what real Italian food is suppose to taste like. I know that may sound silly being in Mexico, but after having so many tacos, we were craving some comfort food. Romeo and Juliet is a home run! Amazing Ambiance, food, and service. I wish I had taken a picture of our burrata salad with tomato, fig, spring lettuce and balsamic reduction! It was beyond our expectations and better than anything we’ve had in the states. We also ordered two pastas, two glasses of wine, and sparkling water. Our bill came to $ 58US dollars. We were shocked! Like I said, FRESH ingredients and homemade pasta! We ordered pretty much the same thing at Salvatore’s and bill came to $ 130 for bad food! Romeo and Juliet’s will be our go to place from now on. I wish we were going to stay here in Cabo longer on this trip just to have it one more time!

This was an amazing restaurant, very romantic and the staff is on point with service. I had the lasagna — very delicious. This has been a staple for my husband’s family who are from Cabo, so years of parties and gatherings happen here without any issues. Definitely worth a visit.

Frequent Cabo traveler here! My girlfriend and I chose Romeo y Juliet based on reviews and recommendations from a few others. The short: Good Seafood, Foreign wines were tasty and reasonably priced, table-side caesar salad is great and fun to watch, ambiance is good, pizza is bad and service was abysmal. The Long: We like to try a nice place our last night in Cabo and this year we landed on Romeo y Juliet. In the past we’ve done Mona Lisa, Crazy Lobster and Maro’s. 6:15 reservation and we were seated promptly. Our server was not very personable and didn’t speak English, which made it a little difficult and unpleasant to communicate(everyone else seemed to speak English and seemed friendly). We opted for a Spanish Red and two apps –the Fried Seafood/Calamari and Table-side Caesar. Both very good! I got the mixed seafood special entrée and my girl ordered her favorite, pepperoni pizza. The seafood was ok. I wasn’t blown away and was little disappointed with the grilled calamari — very chewy. My girlfriend’s pizza was comparable to a $ 5 Red Barron you’d get at the grocery store. This girl is NOT picky when it comes to pepperoni pizza, so for her to not like it is a BIG deal. We were going to tell our server and ask for another entrée but he never came by. So we waited, and waited, finished our bottle of wine and waters and continued to wait. We stacked our plates and glassware on the edge of the table and continued to wait. We watched as other tables seated after us received their entrees, refills, deserts and check. My girlfriend finally asked that I go get someone — that’s a first! I went to the front and asked the hostess to send the manager. The manager came by and was very apologetic. He did offer us a free desert but we were pretty appalled at this point and declined. I know this must’ve been a one-off and I’m sure the couple across the space could’ve had a wonderful 4 – 5 star experience that night but unfortunately for us this was not the case.

Four of us had dinner at this amazingly wonderful restaurant. First our Caesar Salad was made at the table, all fresh ingredients professionally mixed and served. Then, my husband and I had their chicken cacciatore special — scrumptious! Our friends had the salad, bucattini con ragu di vitello and the incredibly delicious(mouth is watering as I think of it) pollo al Limoncello — note to self GETTHISRECIPE! For dessert we had tiramisu and flan. A perfect end to a most tasty evening. All the wait staff is amazing, friendly, efficient, helpful, fun. We highly recommend this fabulous restaurant. This is our second visit, every time we’re in Cabo we will eat here!

While vacationing in Cabo– you MUST have dinner at Romeo y Julieta. My boyfriend and I had dinner here last night and were extremely pleased. The food is excellent, service was even better. At one point, he looked at me and said…“we’re in Mexico having some of the best Italian food we’ve ever had”. Please stop by and have a delicious Italian meal while in Mexico.

The story: Boyfriend and I chose this restaurant prior to our vacation to Cabo because of the stellar reviews it received. I love pizza so I figured we’d try an Italian restaurant while we were there. Food: Coming from the NY/NJ area, I guess I’m pretty critical on Italian food– especially pizza. We both ordered our own pizzas — I got the classic margherita pizza and he ordered a pear/fig pizza. I was looking forward to my pizza day for days prior to the vacation and I was thoroughly disappointed. It was not well cooked, soft and extremely bland. For appetizers, we got a salad and a fig appetizer(that I don’t currently remember the name of) — both were flavorless in my opinion. I ended up using the oil/balsamic on the table to make my own dressing to put on top of the dry salad. Ambiance — If this restaurant was in the states, I would have thought the atmosphere was nice. However, I guess I’m comparing this restaurant’s ambiance to the other restaurants we went to while we were in Cabo so I thought it was below average. Service — If I could rate this restaurant based on just the service that we received, I would definitely give it a 5⁄5. Everyone was kind, welcoming and attentive. Although I don’t speak Spanish and a few of their servers didn’t speak English, they were sweet and ensured that we had a great dinner.

Outstanding food. Italian. Outstanding service. Very nice atmosphere with seating inside(with air conditioning) and al fresco. Good beer selection. Good wine selection and they even have a kids menu. The chicken Parmesan is great. Thin and thick crust pizza — thin was delicious. Prices are reasonable too.

Amazing night. My hubby took me here for our anniversary. Beautiful ambience, great food and wonderful service we were beyond pleased. They made our Caesar salads tableside which was a very nice touch and fun experience not to mention it was so good I had the veal limone dish and it was so tender it melted in my mouth. To top it off they brought us out a happy anniversary desert with a candle on it and even sang to us! It was a wonderful night, we would come back again for sure!(victor was #1 and made our night special, thank you!)

My husband and I first dined here a few years back and were very impressed with the fresh noodles in the minestrone soup, and the fresh seasoned flat bread is remarkable! Everything we have tried on the menu is great — veal, fish, spaghetti, ravioli. The primary dining area is in an open courtyard that has a Romantic Italian feel to it. You can actually hear yourself think here AND have dinner conversation. The level of service is also wonderful. During prior visits, they were only open for dinner. At this visit we learned they are pretty much open all day. I highly recommend this place, especially if you are tired of inebriated tourists and having to yell your table conversations.

My boyfriend and his family have been coming to Cabo for — seriously — about 18 years and always stop at this restaurant. My first time in Cabo was two years ago(we’ve now gone twice) and we always eat at Romeo and Juliet’s! They have one of the best caesar salads in all of Cabo, which is quite the feat since almost every place claims it. R&J’s is the top of the list! The pastas are fresh, and they have some light options which is so appreciated, especially after a week of vacation binge eating. The staff is always friendly, they have a decent wine list, and they are able to split the bill. I would definitely recommend making a reservation but it certainly isn’t required.

To change up my eating in Cabo a bit, instead of going Mexican another night I decided to give this Italian place a try which was really close to my hotel. Romeo y Julieta seemed like a fancy restaurant from the outside and by looking over their menu( ). Decided to come here for a late dinner one night and to my surprise on a Sunday, the place was literally packed with people, it seems like the best bet for this place is getting a reservation if you’re going to show up late. My waiting time was not that long and I was seated only after five to ten minutes. Once inside, you pass the chef on the right who you can see through a window making everybody’s food and their pizza oven. The atmosphere inside was dark, with tables lit up by a candle and the dining area was in an outside patio, wonder what they do when it rains? This restaurant attempts itself at being very upscale and classy, with the table setting( ) and the fancy wine list, ambience, etc. The first thing I noticed by gazing over their menu was their prices were really steep for Mexico, hopefully I was in for a good meal here. The waiter spoke perfect English and was very friendly to me, offering me different things off the menu. I went for their caprese salad and an entrée of Ravioli. The complimentary bread that came out( ) was nice, very light slices of bread with a hint of olive oil and garlic. The caprese salad which set me back about $ 9USD was simply two tomatoes that were sliced, with slices of caprese cheese inside of them and some salad dressing drizzled over the top with a large croton. The tomatoes couldn’t have been smaller and the croton was just silly looking, the salad was definitely a very underwhelming experience. Finally the entrée came out which was simply cheese Ravioli( ) with some stuffed spinach and some marinara sauce on top, this plate set me back about $ 12USD. They say they made their own pasta here, I kinda doubt it really as it didn’t seem to taste that way at all. To tell you the truth, I’ve had better Ravioli at Olive Garden, not to mention for twelve bucks there wasn’t many ravioli on my plate. Things all side and done, my meal ended up being about $ 30USD for one person, of course this included my salad, entrée, ice tea and coffee. That’s an outrageous price for one person in Mexico in my opinion. My advice is to skip this so-called fancy restaurant and head over to La Dolce, which from the people I talked to, was a better place.
